DESCRIPTION
This is a 2 bed, 2 bath, 920 sqft condo located on the 7th floor with a DIRECT ocean front view. It is in the Ocean House II building. There is a LARGE balcony that is accessible from the living room and the master bedroom. You can be relaxing on the couch or laying in bed and look right out at the beautiful gulf. It's so close to the water that you can open the balcony doors and listen to the waves crashing.

The living room has a flat screen TV with lots of seating including a comfy couch, large comfy recliner, and three basic sitting chairs. The TV has DISH cable along with a DVD player and surround sound stereo.

The whole place comes stocked just like a hotel, and then some.

Kitchen has granite countertops and is fully stocked with plates, bowls, utensils, pans, coffee pot, toaster, and blender. It comes with hand towels, a roll of paper towels, and starter dish soap and dishwasher detergent. The refrigerator comes clean and empty, ready for you to fill. The washer and dryer are adjacent to the kichen and come with starter detergent.

The master bathroom has a shower/tub combo and the guest bathroom has a custom tiled shower. Both bathrooms come fully stocked just like a hotel with bath towels, hand towels and starter hand soap, bath soap, shampoo, and toilet paper.

There is a king bed in the master bedroom, a full and twin bed in the guest bedroom, and a comfy couch that folds out to a full sleeper sofa in the living room. The living room also has a large, comfy recliner. All beds come with clean linens in addition to a set of separate clean linens for the sleeper sofa. Both bedrooms have a dresser and hangers in the closet, so you don't have to live out of your suitcase.

Each bedroom has a smaller flat screen TV with DISH cable and a DVD player, plus the master bedroom has a Blu-Ray player. No worries if your cell phone dies because there is a landline with two cordless phones.

A broom and vacuum are available if you need to tidy up during your stay.

The complex has a zero entry outdoor pool (shallow end starts at deck level, so you just walk right in) and two kiddie pools. There is a gazebo and grill area at each end of the pool. A walkway leads to the beach and there are showers and a hose to use on your way back to remove sand. There is an elevator and carts in the lobby to help move your luggage to and from the condo.

Sorry, smoking and pets are not allowed in this condo, which are also building rules.

The location and view from this unit was absolutely wonderful. However, the unit itself is quite tired, dark, and dated. It didn’t seem like it had been thoroughly cleaned and the furniture (including the patio) weren’t in good shape. There were slip covers that didnt stay on. The mattresses in the second bedroom, especially the twin were of very low quality. Bathrooms were very dark and outdated. Lots of potential with this location but for the price we thought the unit itself would be a little cleaner and updated.

This is a beautiful condo. Well stocked. Could use a few extra pots and pans. The bed was very tall, but once you got up there, it was very comfortable. The view was outstanding! If you get up early enough, you won’t need a dolphin cruise because they put on a show and you can watch from your balcony, drinking coffee. All in all, if someone asked me to rate this condo 1-10, I’d give them a 20! ❤️❤️

We originally booked this condo for 8 days. We only stayed for about two hours and that was the time it took to notify the owner of our dissatisfaction and find another place to stay. Initially the owner agreed to provide a full refund. This was followed up with an emailed “owner approved” VRBO booking modification changing our booking to two days. As of the submission of this review we have not been refunded anything. This issue was reported to VRBO who has indicated they can do nothing about it. After this incident, I reread the reviews for this property and noticed that the owner responded to the negative reviews by claiming the reviewers were unreasonable, wrong, or liars. I took pictures and have text messages and emails to support everything I am claiming i Now let me explain why we refused to stay at this condo. Upon entry, there was a musty odor in the air. Our initial impression was that the condo was drab and dated. The couch and one chair had furniture covers on them and the other living room furniture appeared dated. The pots have heavy baked-on grease and the kitchen sink faucet was broken. We also found hair on one of the toilets and bathroom sinks. The tile on the balcony was also dirty. I can’t say if there were other issues as this was the point at which we stopped looking. Everyone has their own opinion of what is acceptable and the value they are receiving for their cost. We did not find this condo acceptable or worth the cost and do not recommend it.

The condo itself was dark. It definitely could use better lighting. Also there were a lot of speaker and electronic wires everywhere. Very tacky looking. Both patio doors stick-like the frame has shifted. The deck furniture left a lot to be desired. Poor quality seating Beds were good-very firm. On site personnel were very nice. We would stay in this area again, just not in this specific condo. I think we over-payed for the quality we got.

We absolutely loved our stay in Tysons condo! The view is absolutely breathtaking and was so nice to be able to cook meals in the kitchen and enjoy them on the balcony beach front!! The pull out couch is very old and crusty so we just squeezed into the beds and the extra sheets were dirty but we brought our own blankets and pillows so we’re not bothered too much by it. There is plenty of kitchen ware but there was no sponge so we had to buy one. The location of the condo is epic and close to everything! The pool was nice and the beach was gorgeous of course. Overall we loved it and decided to stay an extra night! Tyson was great and responded to everything in a timely manner! As a big family of 6, we definitely recommend!

This property was on a high floor. It had an amazing view of the ocean from both the living room and the master bedroom. The building utself was clean, quiet and safe. The property manager was accessible although we didn't have any problems. An enjoyable stay!

We stayed a weekend in Gulf Shores and had a blast. The balcony was so amazing. We spent hours just listening to the waves and enjoying the breeze. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed.

This condo is so close to the beach we had an amazing unobstructed view of the ocean. Not to mention the sound of crashing waves was the best part. Tyson was amazing and very accommodating when we decided on a last minute extended stay! He made our first trip to the gulf that much better! Just beautiful!

Everything was just as described. We were pleasantly surprised by how close the ocean was to the condo-we could easily hear the waves with the balcony door closed. The toiletries provided was super nice and the host was more than accommodating. We would 100% stay here again.

Beautiful beach front location! The condo was roomy and had all the amenities needed. There isn’t a continental breakfast available nor a front desk check in but restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The owner was available via messaging for any questions. Ocean House does have a wonderful pool to enjoy onsite. Overall, a wonderful place with a beautiful view!

The place was very nice. I am 70 and have 4 sisters from 65-75. One of these had surgery about 2 months ago, one has back injury from 5 years ago, and 1 on oxygen and in wheel chair. The only thing about condo is doors not really wide enough for the chair so we had to all help. No other problems except the rain followed us except 1 day. The area has a lot of thrift stores for budget minded shoppers. The communication with the owner was great, very helpful. Would stay again anytime . (If because of health we have the opportunity) Overall great!

Everything dirty. Cleaning crew never showed. Manager tried but everything was sticky and sandy and damp and still needed a thorough scrubbing before I was bring my kids in there. Limited space and supplies.
