New sanitizing and cleaning procedures added! One block from the beach! Relax and listen to the breeze in the palm trees on the covered front deck. Watch the waves from the partially covered back deck with outdoor dining, living area, and lounge chairs. Open floor plan with living, dining and kitchen flowing together. Three bedrooms (1 down and 2 up) and two bathrooms (1 down and 1 up) with sleeping for 8+. Enjoy cooking in the fully equipped & modern kitchen with side by side refrigerator, wine rack, granite counter tops and island, microwave, dishwasher, smooth top stove, oven, pantry and washer/dryer. On the ground floor you can grill on the Weber charcoal grill, clean fish in the outdoor sink, nap in the hammock, wash sand off in the outdoor shower, and gather the beach chairs, cooler and toys to take to the beach. Your beach home has everything you will need for a relaxing vacation getaway!

We love this house. We were four adults and two small kiddos (2 and under) and this was our third time to stay. It’s such a family friendly house with toys and a pack n play and high chair, and the short walk to the beach is so easy. It actually rained most of the time we were there but we were close enough to dash out for quick beach fun. Susan is super easy to reach with all the questions I always have. Highly recommend.

We have stayed at this home each summer for several years and each year we love it more! It is clean and well-kept, the beds are comfortable,and it has the most complete kitchen of any beach house we have rented. We especially appreciate the short walk to the beach. This year we were grateful that it was just far enough back from the sand to have escaped significant damage from Hurricane Beryl.The owner, Susan Perez, is pleasant, kind, and very accommodating. We look forward to returning next year!

This home is well equipped for beach needs. It is a short walk to the beach and there is a cart available to take down all the things needed for beach time. The patios are a highlight even of we could not really enjoy them because it rained all during our stay. Go to Moody Gardens in the morning and stay the day if you too have a rainy day.

Absolutely loved our stay in this home, and the location was perfect! The pictures and description don't do the property justice, and there is nothing I would change about this rental.
Lots of seating inside and out, comfortable beds, impeccably stocked kitchen, spotlessly clean, great view of the beach and an easy walk to the shore.....our 18 month old could walk it.
The owner has provided beach toys and chairs, all we needed was our suits and sunscreen.
Communication with the owner was great, with prompt responses; Susan was lovely to talk to. The beaches and community are quiet, clean, and family oriented. No huge crowds, and except for one incident with another vacationer and their out of control dog... our stay was perfect.
I definitely recommend this home and I hope we get the opportunity to come again!

We had a great time…house was very clean and had every amenity you may need. The property is so close to the beach you can walk. Great communication with the host…if I had questions she answered within minutes.

This house is in the Pirate Beach neighborhood which is one of the best kept areas on the west end of Galveston. The beach is clean and uncrowded, yet the location is an easy drive to any place you'd like to visit. Susan is a great hostess and answered any questions immediately. The house is super clean, beds comfortable, well stocked, great outdoor spaces, and about two minutes from house to beachfront. It does NOT get any better than this!

Your home was amazing. I’ve never been in a home that was so well put together. It had a homey feel and was just perfect for myself and my nieces. I would stay here again in a flash. Thank you for letting me and my nieces use it for a week. Even though it rained most of the time we had a great time. Thanks again

The beach house was clean and roomy. The description was spot on. A block from the beach, which was clean and not over populated. Will definitely have to go back to this one!

This is our 3rd stay in this house. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. House is beautiful and location is perfect. Susan is extremely responsive and helpful! Looking forward to staying here again!

This was our second stay at this wonderful home. It is so relaxing. Perfect for a family…we had our toddler grandbaby with us and the house has toys and a pack n play ready for her. It has absolutely everything you need for a perfect beach vacation. We made family meals in the well stocked kitchen. We star gazed from the deck at night. We made so many happy family memories. It goes without saying that it is a short walk to the beautiful beach. We loved sunrise and sunset strolls. Communicating with Susan was easy last year and easy this year. My adult kids love it, my grandbaby loves it, mg dog loves it and I love it. We will be back next year!

This went well above expectation. The property was literally a stone’s throw away from the beach entrance. The property itself was very well maintained and clean. It had everything you could or would need. All we had to bring was the food and personal hygiene items. Bathrooms were stocked with towels, beach towels and TP. Kitchen had all the pits n pans, dishes and silverware needed. TV’s had Roku with NetfliX, HULU and Disney+. I just listed all of those things because i have been to places that are bare.
I will definitely be back, and highly recommend. There were 8 of us, 6 adults and 2 kids. Perfect fit.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for us. We had a 13 month old and the house had toys that she loved. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beach was a short walk and never crowed.

A lil late leaving the property but was in motion, she stood over us like a prison guard, I asked her to respect our space but she refused. I felt very uncomfortable. Don’t think I will rent this house again

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is the most well stocked place we have ever stayed in! You don't have to bring anything, but food & clothes! It was so nice there were so many toys for our kids (ages 2 & 4). The kitchen had an excellent selection of plates & cups for kids as well as adults. Loved that they provided beach towels, beach chairs, & beach toys! We used the pack & play as well. Again, they truly thought of everything. Property was clean. We enjoyed being able to have an outdoor shower to clean up after the beach as well. Patio is great to hang. House is walking distance to the beach. Susan, was great accommodated our pets when they weren't initially going to be joining us. The only thing we didn't enjoy, was having to do the dishes before we left. We would definitely recommend & stay here again.

This Pirates Beach house is only a two minute walk from the driveway to the water's edge. There's a great ocean view from the huge back porch, which has so many tables and chairs for visiting, as well as comfy sofas for napping. Once inside you'll find the kitchen to be pretty, and very well supplied. The beds are comfortable, and the linens of good quality. The layout of the home makes it feel twice as large as stated in the listing, and there are several convenient storage spaces. There are many special touches like the porch swing downstairs, plentiful beach supplies, and books to enjoy during your stay. This host has gone beyond preparing a house for rent, and has created a true "home away from home" experience.

We loved every minute of our stay. The house has every single thing we could possibly need down to baby toys and chairs for the beach. It was spotlessly clean. The owners were so prompt with answering any questions. It is super close to the beach, but I still drive bcs we took a lot with us (my baby granddaughter was with us) and it was so easy to drive and park. Literally one minute drive. 3 minutes walk. Great view from the deck.

This property was well appointed and we hardly had a reason to leave except to go to the beach and restock our food supply. The beds were comfortable and each shower, even the outside shower had shampoo/conditioner. But the best thing of all was the two porches where we could move from one to the other depending on the sun. And as you will see if you go, plenty of seating. We enjoyed many fun times visiting and watching the surf right from the comfort of the sofas on the back porch. Owners were quick to respond to all the questions we had also.

We had the best time! The house feels like an actual home, with a fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms, beach supplies, etc. A clean and well maintained home, can absolutely tell that the owners take a great care of it. We have stayed at 4 other properties at Galveston over the last few years, and this has been our absolute favorite! We will definitely be back! And thank you, Susan - you have been a great host, so easy to communicate with and so kind! Hope you have a great summer!

This place was really great and had everything we needed! Really appreciated the starter pack of essentials like dishwasher liquid, soap for hand washing, and shower essentials. The beds were comfy, and the toys in the bunk room closet kept my kiddo entertained during breaks from the beach (which was super close!) one thing to note is that the bathroom to the bunk room and the master is a shared one. If you have some lite sleepers in the kids room, that can get problematic. Our kiddo greatly enjoyed it though, helped him sleep in the new place cause we were so close.

This home was a pleasure. It looks exactly like the pictures depict. It’s large, perfectly furnished and comfortable. I was a little concerned because we are seniors and some properties in Galveston have steep stairs but these were very manageable. We had people from every age group with us and everyone loved the property.

Our trip included family ages 4 to 64, and everyone absolutely loved staying here. There was plenty od space to rest and relax, and the beach was so close. We loved it!

We had a wonderful stay in this well-appointed home. It was so close to the beach for lots of strolls, shell-gathering and sunsets. There was plenty of space both inside and on the 2 outside deck areas. There were 4 of us but this property could easily accommodate more. Our host Susan was helpful and responsive. Loved it!

We just completed a two week stay at Susan’s lovely beach house. It was comfortable, wonderfully equipped, and beautifully kept up. We especially enjoyed the massive deck facing the gulf where there was no shortage of great outdoor furniture and large dining tables. Sure hope we can return soon again!

Having travelled and utilized VRBO’s extensively, we can say this was the most well appointed, comfortable, and clean rental we’ve ever had! What a happy home! It slept the whole gang comfortably (great beds!), the kitchen was so great, perfect proximity to the beach, everything we could need. Checking in and out was easy, and we can’t thank you enough for making our vacation so fabulous.
