If you need a big place with all the amenities this is it. Clean, well kept, wonderful upstairs great room and kitchen with ocean view. Smartly located in Mid Town Cayucos so restaurants and shops are all walking distance even with small children. The hot tub was a nice added bonus and is truly a great way to put a ribbon on beach day. Owner is responsive, commutation was quick from our initial questions all the way through our weeks say and departure. Enjoy this place...we did!

My family and I had an amazing time at this beach house. It was so spacious and had a lot of main living space so it didn't feel like we were on top of each other. it was in a great location with walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. The hot tub was a great amenity that we used in the evening after our days at the beach. We would definitely stay here again!!

Terrific location on a quiet street only about a 5 minute walk to the beach. Large deck from which you can see the ocean and which gets an abundance of afternoon sun in the summer. The house has a really nice floor plan with open living spaces on both the lower and upper floors. The kitchen is large with plenty of utensils and plates/bowls. A really nice dining area table which comfortably seats 10 people. Plenty of bedroom space for large families. Overall we had a really great stay. The only drawback is the water pressure is a little low.

My Mom, sisters and I really enjoyed our stay. The location and house are terrific. The house was very clean and has a large kitchen. One item that should be disclosed up front is that either damage insurance or a credit card deposit is required and that does not appear until you are checking out, which adds to the cost.

We had 4 couples to stay for a long weekend. We loved Cayucos. Such a sleepy little beach town. The house was great for 8 adults. We were able to spend time together in the large kitchen/den area with a view of the ocean as well as separately in the 4 nice bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again.

Great house for a large family! Best rental we've had so far, while coming to the beach. Celebrated my husband's 55th birthday for the weekend and it was perfect and relaxing!

This house is spacious and comfortable. I don't remember how many guests the listing says it accommodates, but our group of five didn't come close to filling it. It is located a couple of blocks from the ocean, but there is a balcony and front windows with a view of the water. The town of Cayucos was an unexpected treasure. I thought that I was familiar with the towns along the coast, but Cayucos was new to me. It seems like a town that no one got around to improving since, say, the early sixties. That is high praise because Cayucos is now my favorite beach town in California.

Family trip from Texas to meet up w family in Morro Bay. Home was everything we thought it would be and more! Well equipped, beautiful views and you could hear the sounds of the ocean! Very roomy and cozy!

Perfect place to stay in Cayucos and is within walking distance to downtown. Top floor has a fantastic view of the ocean and a large balcony facing west. Lots of room and the downstairs has it's own little living room area, which is great for kids. The kitchen is well stocked and there is an abundance of utensils for just about anything you need. We had a couple of bumps in the road that we encountered that Karl the owner was quick to address and he did this while he was actually on vacation in Hawaii. I felt bad that we were bugging him, but he was very easy to talk to and wanted to make sure we were squared away while staying there. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

The house accommodates a family well. It’s nicely decorated and clean, the down side was it started raining hard and several windows began leaking and the ceiling started leaking also, we had mop water. The front door wooden stairs to the door has become rickety and the banister is not sturdy. Other frustrating thing was the listing said check out at 11am but received an email the day before check in saying we had to leave by 10am. That’s very early with a family and not what was advertised I tried to contact property manager about the leaks to inform the homeowner the had some issues they should know about but I couldn’t reach anyone

This is a beautiful property close to the beach and downtown Cayucos. This was perfect for my out of town guests. The home is spacious with a to die for kitchen/upstairs living space. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. I’d highly recommend this gorgeous home!

Comfortable home with a good location and great set up for multiple families

The home was great for our family of ten. My hubby did fall going down the inside steps as the last step blends in with the floor so it was hard to see it was a step. No injuries. Suggest a yellow tape on that last step (daughters agreed that they also had almost missed it). Rattan chairs in living room are not very comfortable, but the sectional is great. Overall very nice.

We had a great time and got to see the Cambria Christmas market. Got caught up in storm so we stayed in doors all day Saturday but the home is perfect for that.

Wonderful house!!!!
Overall great experience. The house is very roomy and perfect for our group. Recently remodeled and gorgeous views. There is however a Nextdoor neighbor who is less than thrilled the house is used as a rental. This individual yelled at our children when they were outside and while in the hot tube (during daytime hours) continuously slammed their screen door for 15+ minutes to try and make us annoyed and go back inside. We’ve been vacationing in Cayucos for years and are very respectful of the locals who live here so this was a bit discouraging. We did have to go out and buy more paper towels and trash bags. We would have liked to used the washing machine as well, but there was no soap. We also planned to bbq and had to go buy charcoal since it didn’t specify in the description what type of bbq was at the house and none was provided. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, bowls, cups, silverware but lacking in some of the other basic cooking utensils and the knives were extremely dull. I’m not mentioning the cons to complain, the house was perfect and met our needs. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Just simply offering some suggestions to the owners. Location was perfect. Short walk down 6th street to beach access and quick walk into town. Overall A in my book!

Annual Family Beach Stay
This home is just the type of home needed for a family vacation. The openness of the upstairs with the kitchen, dining and great room together with a view of the ocean was excellent. The problem with the trip was the elderly woman next door. She would slam her back window and yell at the kids to "get out" and "shut it off" . This was during the afternoon time around 3:00 pm. She scared my 4-year old grandson so bad, he did not want to go outside at all. Two of my family members left early because of her evil vibes. So, if you just plan to stay inside and not use the hot tub or the BBQ - this house is spectacular. No moonlight drinks in the backyard either. I am sorry to tell you all this, but it must be said.

Family Christmas
We had a wonderful week celebrating Christmas together as a family in Cayucos. The house was perfect and there was space for our entire family of kids and adults. Karl was easy to communicate with and the house had everything we needed. The location was great as we were able to walk to shops/food as well as the beach.

Amazing stay
This house is wonderful! About 3 blocks up from the beach (easy walk) and under 10 minutes to walk to town. The house was immaculate, newly renovated, and fully stocked with literally everything we needed to enjoy our stay and not stress about having to go to the store.

This house is one block off the main drag and 2 blocks from the beach. You can see some ocean from the living room.
The kitchen was very well equipped with everything well marked. Plenty of seating g for everyone!

Great space for small quilt retreat
Six wonderful friends shared this delightful home for our annual quilt retreat. The space was perfect. Although carrying all our sewing stuff upstairs was a challenge but a good workout. 😊.
Beautiful ocean view was worth the effort. We enjoyed this home.

Just perfect for families
Three generations stayed at the home for a long weekend. It was great. Cayucos is a cute small town. The house was very quiet but close to everything. The house was laid out perfectly for us, with living spaces and 2 bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms plus living space downstairs. The house has been recently renovated and is beautiful and well equipped. There was plenty of space for all 6 of us to all gather together for conversation, games, sharing meals. I highly recommend it.

This is a "must return"!!
This home was quite beautiful and well laid-out. It is in a great location within walking distance to beach and 'downtown" Cayucos' restaurants and shops. This house had everything we needed, it was extremely comfortable and clean, and appeared to be recently remodeled. It is one of the nicest homes we have ever rented thru VRBO, NS QW Have renewed quite a few (love VRBO!!). All of our family agreed that we would love to return to this home again next year. Karl was very helpful in our pre-arrival correspondence...Thank you very much!

spacious, clean and close to the beach
The home was very clean and spacious enough for our two families (7 total). Kitchen is very well stocked with supplies. Enough towels for everyone! Washer and dryer came in handy. Walking distance to beach, restaurants, market (though might be a bit of long walk with littles). We had a very comfortable stay.

Great beach getaway!
We had a great time staying here with our family of 9! Kids enjoyed the close walkable access to the beach , and the nearby attractions of a local petting zoo and the discovery museum! Great newly remodeled kitchen provided ample space for food prep. Place even included the jacuzzi available for use before 9pm (however the master bathroom’s tub was still not functional yet, hopefully it would be available for the next stay!). Other great amendities include large central living room with sizable TV, open air Balcon, AC, washer/dryer. I would highly recommend this all inclusive place for large families looking to have a beach break!!

Spacious home in good location
This large, well appointed home was perfect for our multi-generation family gathering. We particularly enjoyed the very spacious open concept kitchen/dining/living rooms. Our party of 8 (grandparents/parents, 2 young adult couples, 2 children) found everything we needed for meal prep, dining, TV viewing, and puzzle/game times. Short walks took us to the beach, into town, and to the Cayucos pier.

What an amazing property! You won't be disappointed! Truly enjoyed every minute of our stay! The property is well taken care of and has every amenity you could possibly want in a rental property! Owner was very communicative! Can't wait to stay here again!
