About this house rental
Enjoy a peaceful and relaing retreat at this light and bright Lakeway home. Fully furnished and equiped for an easy getaway, this remodeled home has a full kitchen with serving area and large open dining area and comfortable den seating with a lots of sunlight. There is a spacious front patio for enjoying the Lakeway evenings with a partial Lake Travis view. Located just minutes from all the amenities that Lakeway has to offer including marina, watersports, golf, park and greenbelts for walking. The master has a king bed with separate tub and shower. Bedroom 2 has 2 double beds with its own bathroom with combo tub/shower. Bedroom 3 had two twin beds wtih attached bathroom with another combo tub/shower. Lots of closet space in all rooms.

The house was a very convenient location as we have family living close by and we were in town for graduation festivities. Plenty of room for all of us. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the mornings drinking coffee. Would definitely stay here again! Quiet neighborhood!

To those individuals looking for a place near Lake Travis and Austin, but are fearful for overbearing rental individuals, have no fears.
Check in and check out was incredibly easy, no issues with anything, and enjoyed the stay immensely.

I rented the house for my 80+ year old parents and older brother to stay while visiting family in Austin.
The good… Barbie the property manager had a working contact number and she responded if you called or texted repeatedly. The house suited our needs for space and location.
The bad… she gave us the wrong code for the lockbox and didn’t know the correct one, so it took awhile to get in. My parents found a full freezer with partial gallons and pints of ice cream amongst other opened food packages. The fridge was full of half used condiments, jams, partially finished juice bottles, an uncovered pat of butter on a plate. In the pantry there was a bare half eaten chocolate bar, open chips bags and pasta boxes, etc. In the bathrooms and restrooms were used soap bars, lotions and makeup. And these are only the highlights as the freezer and entire fridge door plus two shelves were filled.
The ugly… My parents complained immediately after check in and Barbie told them that her brother had been staying there and that they could eat and use whatever they liked. When I complained, she sent the housekeeper to clean out the fridge and freezer on day 3. When I got really angry, she sent the housekeeper to clean up the rest of the mess on day 5. My parents checked out on day 6. By then we had all spent hours getting this property into shape.
Unfortunately I was out of the country and my parents did not inform me of the situation until after 24+ hours had passed so it was too late to get our money back.
Unfortunately the owner did not see that there was anything wrong with what she was doing, informing me that several of her friends also do the same. The way I see it, she took advantage of sweet elderly people who didn’t know how rental properties should work. Unfortunately VRBO does not allow photo uploads on their app.
In conclusion, worst VRBO rental ever. Completely unsanitary under normal circumstances never mind during a pandemic. Host is completely oblivious to normal health standards and dragged this ordeal out when she could have easily fixed it from day one.

Barbie's house is fantastic for a family get together. Very well stocked kitchen. Everything you need.
The dining room is so spacious and with a beautiful view from the front porch.

Barbie's home is very spacious and well stocked. Our family of 7 adults loved the comfortable beds and wonderful front porch to view the lake and watch a beautiful sunset. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and ample seating to enjoy them. Barbie was super responsive with any questions we had before and during our stay. Will definitely look to stay here again when back to Lakeway and Lake Travis.

Wonderful Stay
Barbie's home is very spacious and well stocked. Our family of 7 adults loved the comfortable beds and wonderful front porch to view the lake and watch a beautiful sunset. The beds were all super comfortable and so were the pillows. Plenty of towels also. We were there for my daughter's UT graduation and the drive to UT was 40 minutes but hardly any traffic. We definitely would stay there again!

Fabulous Stay!
We loved Barbie's home, sat outside on the porch and had a wonderful view of the lake and sunsets! Home has all the amenities a kitchen needs, along with numerous towels in the bathrooms, shampoos, etc. Had a friend and his daughter here from CT and they loved it too! Barbie was so gracious to let us in a bit early and stay a little later for check out! Thank you Barbie, we will be back!!!!

Located in a beautiful neighborhood with lake views, this professionally decorated home sets the standard for VRBO. From communicating with the owners to check in and check out, this home has everything we needed. Beds were marvelous. Views from living areas and front balcony are spectacular.
It just doesn’t get better than this property.

Perfect lake getaway
My family and I had a terrific time. The house was updated, clean, and perfectly suited for our family. Communication was great and check in was easy. We definitely hope to stay here again in the future.

Lovely home
Really spacious beautiful and clean home equip with all the necessary items in the kitchen etc. Great location with a somewhat view of the Lake. Deer visiting the premises every morning too. 30 min drive to The Oasis and Volente Beach Park.
Truly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Great mid price find in quiet established Lakeway neighborhood
This is a very nice size home. Once you drive up the driveway and shut the garage door, it feels very private. Great kitchen, very comfortable and roomy living area, wonderful master suite. Great shower, two person jetted tub and large master closet are all contribute to the comfort. The king bed was exceptionally comfortable. Very nice established neighborhood near the lake. Great location for getting to HEB, businesses along 620 or the Galleria area. My one and only constructive comment is that it would be nice to have a garage door opener available to make getting in from the car a little easier. I dropped my husband at the front and then drove to the back, waiting for him to open the front door, walk thru the house and open the garage. The first time we did this it was dark and he stumbled on the outside steps. It was a little awkward to manage each time especially when it was rainy weather. So a garage door puncher available would make this place perfect in my books! We would definitely recommend it to a couple or a family and hope to go back ASAP!!
