This house was exactly what we were looking for!
We had 4 kids/ 6 adults and the space was perfect and right on the beach. We only had to walk about 50 feet to the water. This house was super convenient for needing to run back to house for items or just a quick lunch break and then head straight back to the water. Kitchen was very well stocked for our needs. The only downside to this location is being right next to public access to the beach. We were not crowded by any means but there were other people that would come over to set up for the day whereas some of the surrounding houses were private. But this was not an issue by any means. Still way less crowded than a beach like Destin.
We will definitely be back!

This was the cleanest home we’ve stayed in since vacationing on Dauphin Island! Loved the house and steps away from the beach! Love also that it’s dog friendly. The public access to the beach next to the house did not bother us. It was fun to be around others and they were respectful to not sit in our beach area around the house. Would liked to have booked this home again sometime in September but it’s already booked! We will definitely rent this house again!

I have a large family and have rented several vacation homes over the years, this is one of the best! First, beach front can't be beat! Then there are 4 nice sized bedrooms and 2 complete bathrooms. Two bedrooms and a bath on each side of the house. There is a great comfy living area, a bar with seating and table with seating for 4. The kitchen is outiftted with everything you could possible need, and even things you forgot to think about, like ice cream scoopers, strainers, tervis cups, wine glasses, cookware and enough utensils, serving dishes and plates/bowls for a large family. A very nice washer and dryer, dishwasher and there is a grill on the porch. One burner didn't work very well, but a minor problem. There is a box on the porch full of every beach toy you would want, including boogie boards, sand castle building toys, kites, etc. There are even chairs available to take down to the sand. Inside there are toys, books and games for the kiddos. A TV is in every bedroom plus one in the living area. The beach is family and pet friendly. A beautiful, safe, clean, family area. You won't be disappointed. Be sure to catch sunrises and sunsets. Skinner's seafood did us great with supplies for our low country boil. Isalnders restuarant was our splurge dinner. The whole family was able to get something that they liked. Check out the aquarium on the island and go bird watching. A ferry ride completed our trip. I cannot say enough about the comfort of this house, or the beauty of this island.

House and kitchen is well equipped and the online portal pics accurately portray the unit. Two issues, the code to the front door did not work correctly and the left side of the French Door facing the beach would not lock. Still we had a good vacation.

Great ocean front house. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking but bring seasoning and spices. Comfortable beds, loved the shaded deck and island had more restaurants than we thought. If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet vacation this is a great house for it.

Nice clean and suited are family situation perfectly. Everything was as stated on the listing. Helpful hint: if you have an issue with the dryer not drying you just need to pull the dryer out about six to eight inches so the vent can breath.

We had a great time with plenty of room for our family just steps from the beach!! The house is accurately depicted in description and could definitely use some updates but is clean and comfy (except for couch). Make sure you take your own beach chairs, beach towels, and everyday paper products. There is enough supplies to get you started. Bathrooms are small with little storage. The only downside is the house is not handicap accessible. House is located beside public beach access, but we put our chairs out every morning so this wasn’t an issue for us. We loved it here. Perfect location! I would recommended ordering from Skinners and eating at Catalina’s in Bayou La Batre!

The house was clean and has wonderful hot water. Good views from the beach. We went in December 2022 so everything thing was quiet. We were there for 4 days and only given 2 trash bags and 1 roll of paper towels for 6 guests. There also was not enough toilet paper. Each couple cooked dinner each night, and we were only given 3 dish washer pods.
Other than that it was a wonderful visit.

Easiest rental process I have ever experienced.

Arrival day we pull up to the unit and get stuck in about 8 inches deep of sand had to call tow truck to get us out. No signs or markings saying don't pull into driveway. Manager was not helpful in this matter and said it was our fault and they wouldn't help fix the issue. Second shower wouldn't drain well and while you took a shower water would be around your ankles and would take about 3 minutes to drain after turning off the water. Did contact a manager with vacasa that was really helpful and she got us a refund for the tow bill after running by her manager. The property manager at the location of the unit was not helpful and I spoke to her assistant and she told me the sand was supposed to have been removed before our arrival but it didn't get done. Reason we got stuck parking in front of our unit. Overall we were disappointed into the local office manager and the way she handled our situation because of there fault.

House was great. We stayed Wednesday to Sunday and we brought some extra paper products and laundry soap so we were plenty stocked up. We had a great dinner from Skinner’s Seafood the last night. They steamed us up a bunch of shrimp, corn, potatoes and sausage. Highly recommended.

This house is awesome , right on the beach. We took our 2 standard poodles and they loved the beach and the covered back porch . It was a perfect house for us because we could put the dogs on the back porch and it was cool for them all during the day and they could not get off the porch because it was enclosed all around with a gate going down the stairs. The house has everything and is situated right in the middle of dolphine island. Stop by walmart on your way in and grab grocerys for a week. There is a little grocery store on the island that has everything you need, just a little pricey. We will definitely be back.

The house was nice but not as nice as 3 previous DI houses we’ve stayed in. The bathrooms were small. The sofa looked worn and dirty. There were plenty of kitchen supplies but would have loved some Tupperware to store leftovers.
My biggest issue was that there was not a place on the deck to eat. Would have loved a table and chairs on the deck.
FYI, there were a few loose boards on the deck and holes in master bedroom sheet.
Overall, a nice place.

Seascapes is a great location. The views and access to the ocean are great! You just go down the steps from the very large back deck to the white sand of the beach. It's just a short walk to the ocean. So, carrying your chairs out to water's edge is easy. There were lots of beach supplies but always good to bring some of your own. Inside, the room arrangement is great with two bedrooms and bath on either side of living area. The kitchen was well supplied. We had a great time shopping, eating at the waffle place (wonderful) and buying great seafood to cook. Picture taking was fun and lots of cool things to see on the island. If you want e×pensive entertainment, take the ferry to Gulf Shores!
