A maximum of two dogs are also welcome at this home (please note an additional nightly pet fee applies).
This home is located on the south side of town and right on the Necanicum estuary, where the Neacoxie Creek, the Neawanna Creek, and the Necanicum River converge. Gearhart Ocean State Park and the Pacific Ocean are a quick half-mile walk away, and the town of Seaside is just two miles south.

Just off the living room, there's a large formal dining area with plenty of chairs. There are also several outdoor picnic tables if you'd rather dine al fresco, as well as an impressive brick barbecue.
No matter what size your group is, you'll have no trouble cooking for them in the well-appointed kitchen. Dual ranges and a generous center island allow you to prep and cook large batches of food, while a dishwasher makes cleanup easy. There are also plenty of small appliances, including a toaster, a slow cooker, a mixer, and two coffee makers.
With seven bedrooms and four full bathrooms, this home can comfortably accommodate up to 18 guests. There are three bedrooms on the first floor. One bedroom has a queen bed, a private bathroom, and a flatscreen TV; the other two bedrooms have queen beds and share a bathroom.
Head upstairs to find the remaining bedrooms. To your right, you'll see one bedroom with two twin beds. Head straight down the hall, past a full bathroom on your right, to a fifth bedroom with two more twin beds and an attached media room with a flatscreen TV. To the left of the stairs, there's a large bedroom with six twin-size beds. On this bedroom's far end, there's a shared bathroom and the final bedroom, which has two twin-size beds.
After a refreshing night's sleep, go for a morning stroll along the shores of Neawanna Creek, or make your way to Gearhart Ocean State Park for beachcombing and a picnic lunch. Head to Seaside for an afternoon of shopping, and be sure to stop by the Seaside Aquarium to learn more about Oregon's coastal ecosystem.
If you brought hiking boots, spend a day exploring the trails at Ecola State Park and enjoying picturesque views of Tillamook Head. Pick up some fresh-caught fish on your way back to your vacation rental and treat your group to a festive barbecue on the outdoor grill while the kids and dogs frolic in the grass.
Your large group will love the comfort and convenience of this beautiful Gearhart vacation rental. Start planning your trip today!

Lots of room for everyone. Quiet. It was perfect for our group of 10 adults and 2 children (6 and 9). Nearby a beautiful beach.

The Lodge had such great space for a family of 16. Room for kids to hang out and adults alike. The dining room sat us all! We put this home on the top of our list for favorite family vacation spot!! Thank you to the Vacasa staff. It was perfect!!

We had a great time! The house is very user and kid friendly! It has lots of room, kitchen is well equipped. Would definitely stay here again!

I loved the shag carpet especially on the staircase! The perfect spot for the combination of ages. They all had their own area. Kids upstairs over the dining area and kitchen with no one to bother. Adults on the otherside. Place worked out well with a week of family. Lots of fridge space for all the food made in the kitchen with ample room for helpers. Good parking area. Enjoyed the stay.

The place is enormous and perfect for a very large group. Very clean and comfortable. All sorts of kitchen appliances available. The rug could use a good cleaning. Several parking spots. Easy to book, and fast response. We had a great stay!

Great place to spread out with a dozen people for a retreat. Loved the huge fireplace, especially since the weather was so stormy. Kitchen was laid out well and made meal prep easy.

Our church held a teen retreat here for 12 youth and 4 adult leaders (including a cook!). The lodge was absolutely perfect! It was a great gift to sit together around the big table after a meal was prepared in the very well-equipped kitchen. Our study sessions were held on the couches surrounding the great fireplace. Everyone slept comfortably. We were close enough to Del Ray Beach to drive right over when the sun came out.
One morning we blew a fuse in the kitchen (two griddles going), and someone came right over after I notified the property manager and fixed it.
This is highly recommended for large groups.

We had our Christmas celebration with a family of 16. There is plenty of room for gathering together as well as having separate space, and ample sleeping. Very large yet cozy.

This is a spiritual group and we were very comfortable with the ability to gather for meals and meetings in such a warm homey environment

Overall, the house was pretty good--lots of space inside and a huge yard for kids to play and the dog to stretch his legs. The biggest complaint was heat distribution. The downstairs bedrooms had next-to-no heat in them, the first night was extremely cold. The second night, we tried to compensate with the thermostat and we cooked-out the people sleeping upstairs. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and utensils and provided a good amount of cooking space with the two ranges and two dishwashers made cleaning up much easier.
A lot of smaller details detracted from how great the house could have been--old, ugly shag carpet, extremely dated cabinetry, and visible dry-rot in door/window trim. The interior lighting was not really adequate once the sun went down; even when walking around and turning every separate light on, manually at the fixture, it was still pretty dim.

We loved staying in this small lodge in Gearhart. Our large group fit wonderfully. Love the location and the big yard! We made good use of the kitchen and facilities to feed our crowd worth the money for big groups who appreciate vintage decor. The orange shag 1970’s carpet probably not suitable for some folks, but it was OK with us. The home could use some updating with regard to furniture and probably just needs carpet removed. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were updated pretty well. Everything worked and the location can’t be beat.

This was a perfect property for our little family reunion! PLENTY of room for all 12 of us to spread out! 3 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers were all put to great use! Plenty of dishware, seating, and bedding for large groups. I could not get over the charm that this house has beaming throughout every single room! The hidden staircase, the bookcase in the curved staircase, all the hidden windows, the ceiling beams, the fireplace, bulky wood door casing, the Dutch doors! The house is very old (built in 1936 I believe) and the character from that time period shows! The view of the bay just out the back door is breathtaking and beach access is just a short half mile away. Although we didn’t need anything from him, the property manager is on-sight living right next door which is helpful. The neighbors to the other side seem annoyed to have a rental property next door…we were unable to make friends with them =\

The Lodge at Little Beach worked well for our group of 17 - 80 year old or nearly 80 year "old" college girlfriends. We had plenty of room to spread out and find places to chat, work jigsaw puzzles or nap. We enjoyed cooking in the big kitchen and sharing our meals around the extra long dining room table . There are several extras leaves for the table if needed . The onsight caretaker was very welcoming, quick to respond to our requests for a few items, and even took some group photos of us. We all had a great time!

I love a historic property and we needed something for a soccer team tournament that could accommodate multiple families. But the dated elements of the property left us disappointed. While I loved the quiet, secluded location and all of the beds, the carpets from 1960/70 had a musty smell and the old electrical kept tripping the breaker. The caretaker came over to try to fix the electrical issue but the air conditioners and fans had been shut off all day. The house was sweltering and very difficult to get cooled down again before bed.
I didn’t read the comments as closely as I should have and assumed from the pics that we would have beach access, it was disappointing to find that it was the only property in that area without beach access- a beautiful view if you walk across the lawn but for the price we paid per night, overall disappointing. This was priced as a luxury rental but it was certainly not that.
Also, all the signage about noise and warnings about not disturbing neighbors had us worried to even let the kids play outside, didn’t feel very welcoming. I’m sure there are issues with partiers but it felt intense.

A perfect location for our vacation! The Lodge easily accommodated three generations of family (12 of us between 9years old and 87years old).
Plenty of space, doors to close and allow private spaces and enough of everything we needed!
We loved it and will book again!

We enjoyed a long weekend at Little Beach! There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 9 kids. We enjoyed the fire place, the yard, the beach and what a great house for hide and seek! We found it affordable compared to hotel rooms, and being together was so much fun!!!

My knitting club (13 of us) came to stay here for the weekend. We loved it! Plenty of spots for everyone to eat together, sit together, and relax without feeling like you’re tripping over one another. Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful view. Quiet neighborhood.

a beautiful historic property....good for some groups....not great for folks with mobility issues, or who need good lighting for reading (esp in winter). some idiosyncratic design features, no bathroom not attached to bedrooms, stair handrails attached to an unsecured door. We did enjoy the craftsman ship and well stocked kitchen. When we reserved it, we were shocked that the price was more than doubled with fees that did not appear before we attempted to book

We had a good time with extended family. Plenty of beds for all.

The house accommodates a large group well. There are large spaces to gather, to eat and to play games. There is plenty of seating and the kitchen is stocked with two of everything: refrigerators, ovens, toasters, dishwashers. Lots of beds and rooms so people are comfortable and have some privacy. Apparently, the single beds are rock hard, but the queen bed that my husband and I had was comfy.
The yard is huge, the views are spectacular, and a great beach is close by.
We really appreciated that it was dog friendly. The wording of the VRBO listing made it seem like multiple dogs were allowed, but we found out later that only two dogs are allowed. When I inquired about having a third dog, I talked to four different people and repeated my situation multiple times, but I did appreciate the quick response to resolving the issue.
Many of the dishes and silverware had to be rewashed upon arrival, and a few of the towels had noticeable stains, but nothing that was a deal breaker. The whole place needs a good organizing - so many drawers and cupboards are filled with disorganized "stuff". Overall, though, it was a fantastic home to spend Christmas with our extended family and we would stay again.

Loved the fireplace and dining area

We had plenty of room for 6 adults, and 6 of our grandchildren plus a dog. The kids all stayed upstairs and had a ball. The kitchen had enough meal prep area and 2 of all the essentials for a large group. 2 frigs, 2 stoves, 2 dishwashers. The table was large enough to squeeze us all around. The chairs were a little low seating wise for the oldsters and younger children. When we first arrived it was a little musty but we opened a few windows and fresh air came in. No screens due casement style windows. Upstairs was very warm when we first arrived. We came on a hot day and used fans but still very warm at bedtime.
We loved having the piano and electric keyboard. 2 of us play piano. The Wi-Fi worked great and we had 2 movie nights while we were there. We loved staying here and will try and come back again.
We brought kitchen things from home as the list of things Vacasa sent us was minimal. We love to bake and cook so brought things they already had. A detailed list of things like pizza pans, muffin pans etc would have been helpful. 3 of our party were unable to make it due to illness but we would have had plenty of room had they made it.
We had a wonderful time. Beach access is a bit of a walk and a little hard for the elders in our group but the kids all loved it.

This property is really great. The bedroom are cozy, the living room was nice and the outside was lovely.

Plenty of space for group or individual activities, both inside and outside. Attractive, quaint architecture. Beautiful views, though we could not see the sun set from anywhere on the property, as we were led to believe we could.

The lodge is perfect for a large group: spacious, lots of sitting areas, dining room that will seat 20 or more, and a thoroughly stocked kitchen. The grounds are also spacious and the view to the south includes Tillamook Head and the Necanicum River where it flows into the ocean. Bedding and towels clean and fresh. We were a group of 15 women and we find the lodge perfect for a reunion gathering place. The only thing that concerned us was the step between the living room and dining room; the top step has an overhang and several of tripped going up the step. There are hand rails, luckily.

We loved the updates that have been done. The fireplace and kitchen and roominess of the house. Beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the yard and sitting by the end property to view the birds and water

Awesome for family reunions
We were in town for a High School reunion. This house was perfect for the extended families from all over the country. The table and setting areas made for great game night and the bed configurations gave enough room for adults to have their own room and kids to share the upstairs. Great views, great amenities!

It's magical!
Four families got together for a long weekend at the beach. We cooked together in the giant well stocked kitchen, walked on the beach, played outdoor games on the huge lawn, played indoor games in front of the gigantic fireplace and at bed time had plenty of rooms for sleeping. The house is a delight. One of the kids compared it to a visit to Disneyland. It was a magical weekend.

It has been such a fun tradition to stay at the Little Lodge 3 out of the last 4 years.

Great family beach house
Loved our stay at the Lodge at the Little Beach!! Don’t let the orange shag carpet throw you off. Stayed here with cousins, and there was space for everybody. “Creepy” staircase in the back bedroom turned out to be the best feature of the whole house. The kids ran in circles around the house: up and down the main stairs to the back stairs, into the kitchen, and back around again and had so much fun. Double ovens, dishwashers, and three fridges in the kitchen provided ample space for food and meal preparation. We did need to bring our own keurig, which was easier for a group, but coffee pots were provided if we had chosen. (Caveat to parents with small kids, hot water is HOT and heats up quickly). Having the hose outside was super helpful for cleaning up sand. Only downside is no beach access (due to erosion), but the huge backyard made up for that fact, and beach access is a quick drive up the road.

Lots of space
This home had plenty of room for 17 of us. We loved the great room, the well-stocked kitchen and the huge outdoor space. It was nice and clean, as well. We had 2 minor incidents with on-site equipment that we reported. Assistance was offered but we chose to carry on without repairs. The threadbare carpet needs to be replaced!

Satisfied Umatilla softball
The Umatilla softball team has stayed here a couple times for the Seaside Spring Break Tournament. It is a perfect size for a varsity team. The kitchen and dinning area is large enough to accommodate feeding 14-18 together. The living room was a good team meeting room. Also the girls (yes, high schoolers) find it a perfect place to play hide-and-seek at night but about five times a trip somebody ends up falling and sliding down the tiny staircase into the kitchen.

Room to be together and get away! Worked perfect for our multi age group.

Little Street Gem
We took our family of 18 to the beach for a weekend of clamming and crabbing. The house was an easy walk to the beach, even for the three 2 year olds. We will definitely be coming back next year.
