The home was just perfect for our family vacation.
Convenient location, spacious home, great dock and sitting area outside.

This property was great for our family vacation. It was exactly as described and check was a breeze. The kids were able to fish off the dock and kayak in the channel. We saw manatee and lots of other wildlife. I would highly recommend staying here!

This property was absolutely beautiful. The house was plenty big. My husband and I brought two daughters, a daughter-in-law and our 3-year-old granddaughter for a week's visit. There was plenty of room for all of us. The lower floor level made it perfect for our daughter and 3-year-old granddaughter. The house was very clean and well kept and our host Greg was amazing.

We had such a great vacation with our adult children and spouses. We love Key Colony Beach and this house was perfect. The furniture and beds were so comfortable. We cooked so appreciated that the kitchen was well equipped. There was 8 of us and there was plenty of room. The dock was very nice as we brought our 24ft pontoon. My kids loved the puzzles provided as they put all of them together. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us.

We loved everything about our stay except the occupants residing in the other half of our building were cigarette smokers. We have children with and the smoke drifting over to us would quite literally drive us off the deck. This is unfortunate.

My family loved staying at this location. This home was perfect for our vacation.

The house was very comfortable and relaxing stay.
There were some housekeeping issues which I discussed with the manager.
Many of the vertical blinds were missing in the living room and I had a hard time finding king size sheets in the house for the master bedroom.
I eventually found an old set which was stuffed inside a pillow case in the closet.
This is a great family neighborhood and we were thrilled to be able to bring our dogs
This house is very roomy and comfortable.

The house was great for my wife, son and his friend (both 27 years old), and another couple. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 connected baths on first floor, a loft with a bed, and downstairs is a separate area with bedroom and bath. The kitchen and family room area was spacious. TV in family room (Direct TV) and there were TV in all bedrooms. There was a gas grill that worked well. I would suggest getting bikes as it makes it easier to get around the area. The pickleball and tennis courts and golf and Cabana Bay and Sunset Park are all close by.
We did one day trip down to Key West (about hour drive) and did the efoil board rental for the kids which was fantastic (bit expensive about $500 each) but it was a blast and a fun morning. We also did night kayaking and it was fun. In between walked around the town, ate at Fogertys which was fantastic.
Porkys restaurant was good as was Sunset Restaurant. We did jet ski at Wavezone and snorkeling trip with Spirit, both located next to Porkys near 7-mile bridge. Sombrero Beach is a great place especially if you have younger kids.
Publix and Winn-Dixie are about 10 minutes away.
The house is in a great location. We did not have a boat but looks like a great place if you want to bring one.

The property is spacious with three levels, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The location is great for boating. The boat dock in the yard was great for our 26’ boat. The property itself could use some TLC and updating its condition. Everything inside is old looking.

We had a great time for the 2 weeks we were there. We brought our 32ft boat down with us which fit perfectly behind the house in the canal. 1 post on the bulkhead is missing (I was told this prior to arriving), but it was an easy fix with a small bumper hanging off the cleat. I would recommend that you bring your own cookware. Pans were warped and didn't sit flat on cooking surfaces. All the beds are firm. Didn't have any issues the whole time we were there. The home does need some updating, but we really enjoyed our stay. We will be booking this house again in the summer of 2022.

Upon arriving at this property, we found the doors unlocked and the keys laying on the kitchen counter. During the first day, we found the floors to be filthy, our 13 year old was barefoot in the house and he had to wash the bottoms of his feet before he went to bed because they were black with dirt. I scrapped up food from the kitchen floor. The sliding glass door to the patio was very difficult to open even after spraying the track with a lot of WD-40. I had to disassemble the dead bolt and repair it so that we could lock the unit when we left. I adjusted a kitchen cabinet door so that it would close. I adjusted a laundry room bi-fold so that it would quit swinging out into the hall way. I replaced 5 burnt out light bulbs with the light bulbs that were available. There were at least two more that needed to be replaced. One of the lights on the fan in one of the bedrooms was hanging by one of the electrical lines. The manager had the gall to ask if it was that way when we arrived, insinuating that we had done it. When we told him about these things, one of his comments was, "Maybe the house cleaner ran out of time". When you're paying for clean up service, I think you should expect the unit to be clean and ready for use and not expect the renters to do the house cleaners job.

Location was excellent. Enough room to park our boat trailer, a plus. House was very spacious and accommodating. A good stay and would recommend.

Key colony is the perfect location for a stay in Marathon. Quick access to the Gulf or Atlantic by boat. Close to grocery stores and boat ramp. Also right by the aquarium, turtle rehab and dolphin sanctuary for kiddos. Beautiful home on the canal. Easy check in, we arrived early but they were almost done cleaning so we were able to unload our things upstairs. No dock fenders/buoys so make sure to bring some. We had an awesome time and plenty of beds for everyone plus some. The loft was actually very cozy. 3 queen size beds and a king plus pull out couches. Only issue we had was the grill was too rusted to use and none of the bath drains stayed in so was hard giving our 2 year old a bath. We ended up buying a small grill to use. Not baby proof so recommend bringing baby gates for stairs if you have them. Enough parking for all our vehicles and boat trailer. We really enjoyed our stay. Bring your own inflatable pool and pop up tent for back. Community Pool is about a mile down the road. Breeze was nice on the deck most of the time so we were able to relax in the chairs up there. No fans on deck so bring one to plug in. When the breeze didnt hit the back deck the fan we brought did wonders. Sliding doors up top and on bottom deck were a little hard to open and shut. Bring tupperwear as there were only a few in the cabinets. Otherwise plenty pots and pans to cook.
THIS IS A DUPLEX! But most homes in key colony are. We were pretty bummed we could see the neighbors when out back but they were friendly so we lucked out. Didnt feel comfortable wearing bikini out there with them right by. Would have liked there to be a fence or more foliage between the duplex for more privacy. Sunset beach was a half mile down the road, we walked to every morning and sunset. But that beach has a lot of rocks so not a good swimming beach at low tide. Plenty of grass on that walk for the pups to go to the bathroom. My dog eventually learned to go in the rocks as theres not much grass right by the home. Overall really enjoyed our stay here.

Great accommodations for an extended family vacation. Plenty of room for 5 adults, 2 teens and 1 child (and 2 dogs). Upstairs loft was perfect for the kids to hang out with privacy. Downstairs area was perfect for family separation while still being connected with spiral stairs. Plenty of dining space indoors and outside. Location on the canal was great to relax and fish and bbq. Short walk to sunset park and to the cabana club which was a nice option to have. Short drive to Sombrero and Coco Plum beaches, to restaurants, Walgreens and Publix. Pizza, ice cream and Mexican restaurant within walking distance. Marina with fishing and scuba diving 2 minutes away. 3 bathrooms (one for each sibling family) was perfect! Easy check in and out made for a great vacation!

The accommodations worked well for our family, everyone was comfortable. We enjoyed the cabana club and met some friendly people.

This property was perfect for us. There was a manatee in the canal that we watched for nightly. The house is comfy and everyone had a bed which was nice. We had 5 including my husband and 3 adult children. Since March Madness was going on it was really nice to have cable to get all the games. Not that we came to watch tv but when we wanted some down time it was nice. The house is centrally located and within walking distance of club cabana which had a beach and pool. It’s also within walking distance of restaurants and shops. I cannot stress how nice this location is. It’s an easy drive up to Key Largo or down to Key West! Great home!
