About this house rental

You will LOVE this beautifully decorated and well-equiped home and property! 3 bedroom home that sleeps up to 6 people. Two queen beds, one twin bed w/ trundle, a day bed and one full futon make for flexible sleeping for any kind of group. Back bedroom with queen size bed has its own half bath, sunroom/reading room and private entrance. Living room includes breakfast area overlooking deck/backyard and flatscreen TV with cable, wi-fi, and dvd/blu-ray player. One full-size bath with shower and tub. House also includes a huge kitchen with stove, oven, full-sized fridge, microwave, washer/dryer, and a wide variety of cookware and cooking utensils. Worried about having a place to seat your entire dinner group? Our large kitchen table with additional chairs will seat up to 10 people if you want to have guests over for dinner during your stay. Enjoy our front yard with inviting hydrangea gardens or use our ample-sized back yard for family bocci ball, volleyball and whiffle ball games. Large deck for relaxing and sunbathing; an oversized hammock hangs in the yard for 'just chilling-out' time. Grill and outdoor shower too! Finally, WALK 5 minutes to route 28 for restaurants and shops or WALK one block to Long Pond where there's swimming, kayaking, fishing or a playground (and, yes, we've got kayaks for you to use too!).

Quiet, just enough amenities, Beds were Comfy:) The porched-in area off the master bedroom was perfect for morning tea, afternoon naps, and relaxing before bed. The front room was spacious with several sitting areas. Would definitely return!

This was a great weekend to the Cape to visit our son who is a student at the Maritime Academy. My parents joined us for their first time in town. We loved the home and location. Everything is there that you will need! We loved being able to prepare a home cooked meal for our family in the kitchen. Lighting in the home was special and an appreciated touch. It was a wonderful experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was in the perfect location for our adventures to Provincetown, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket and a whale watching trip. The house also served well while confined indoors when Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lee passed close by the area. We enjoyed all the comforts of home! Amy was very accommodating and checked on us during our stay. We had a great time.

This house is fantastic, one of the best rentals we have ever booked. The home is very clean and well appointed. Amy and Barry are amazing, gracious hosts who think of EVERYTHING! Close to beaches, shopping and restaurants, even a pond and playground. Our only regret is, we didn't act fast enough to book for next summer. Stay here, you won't be disappointed!

This property is exactly as shown on website. Very well maintained,in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything Amy has lots of information for you about restaurants and adventures. Big back yard with seating,grill and picnic table Would definitely recommend!

Amy’s home is lovely and we enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Amy was easy to reach when we had questions. Great neighborhood and location too.

There were 4 of us and we couldn't have asked for a more wonderful place as we enjoyed 5 days in Cape Cod! The only concern we had was that we were asked to have all the towels washed, dried, and put away prior to leaving. This left the group without being able to bathe or shower before our leaving day. In staying at other VRBO's this has not been required. Even with this concern, I highly recommend this place!

We have stayed for years in the neighborhood with family. Because of a wedding, their house was full! We loved staying at Amy's. The front porch was so inviting and is a great place to read a book and curl up with a blanket. We ate breakfast outside in the back and know that if we had gone to the beach, we would have enjoyed the outdoor shower. Check out Wolfie's bakery. It is inside of a former lobster restaurant and $ goes towards the community kitchen. You are sure to enjoy your stay.

Our family stay was not our first at Amy and Barry’s Cape House. This is the only home we stay at when we return to the Cape. It was the first we stayed at after selling our Cape home and continues to be the place we want to return to. Amy is very responsive and organized. Everything you need is at the cape house! It’s a beautiful quiet area that is close to beaches, restaurants and activities. Amy and Barry have created a beautiful comfortable home to enjoy and we are grateful that we can continue to come back. Hope to enjoy your home again soon! Karen W

Very clean , spacious, well appointed, comfortable home! We traveled north to celebrate Christmas with family living close by in Bass River. Great location. Worked out perfectly! Amy had decorated throughout the home and even put up a tabletop Xmas tree! Very thoughtful and much appreciated !

We were looking for a girls getaway while the guys had a golf getaway. Everything about this Cape cottage was perfect! Amy was excellent with instructions and responses. The house had everything you could possibly need. Great location!! We walked 2 miles in the morning and it was a quiet, peaceful neighborhood! We would definitely stay here again and just may bring the husbands back next time! Perfect weekend getaway!!

Everything was there, location, easy access to all you would need. For elderly people or handicapped it was difficult. There are no railings for going in and out of the house and lots of elderly people or handicapped need the support. My husband is totally blind and to guide him from the back bedroom to the kitchen or living room was not enjoyable for me. It was too narrow, and my sister needed the front bedroom by the full bath. The bathtub was sooo deep. My sister is 5 ft and I am 5/7" and I couldn't get my whole leg & foot into the tub. She would need help. There is nothing to grab a hold of for support in getting in or out of the tub. There was nothing on the bottom of the tub so you wouldn't slip. Outside of no support going in and out of the front and back door, no support for the tub and nothing on the bottom of the tub, this place was great!!! The owner was very sweet and helpful!! The location for all things were just down the street. It seems like it is centrally located for everything you could need. There was all the things you needed to use in the house.

We've rented several times on Cape Cod and this is our favorite rental. Amy was great to communicate with ... very responsive and nice. The house was immaculate when we arrived and had everything we could possibly need for our 2 weeks. The kitchen was very well appointed, beds and furniture all very comfortable. We brought our own kayaks to use on Long Pond but they have some for use in the garage. We will definitely return to this lovely home for another vacation!

Our S Yarmouth cottage was very comfy, cozy and clean! As described - well stocked kitchen including a drip coffee pot and Keurig! Great location close to restaurants, shopping and beaches. Highly recommend for a couple or small family.

Everything about this rental was perfect! My friends and I stayed for two nights for a wedding and we could not have found a better place. A few of us used the outdoor shower, while the others used the beautifully updated indoor shower. Big kitchen with lots of room to talk around the table. Wish we had more time down the cape so we could have taken the kayaks out for a spin!

An adorable, clean home in a very central area. Our family of four had plenty of space indoors to roam while also enjoying the patio/backyard to relax. The owner, Amy is wonderful with her communication and is very quick to reply. We love the cape and look forward to staying AGAIN for the holiday weekend!!

Cannot say enough positive things about this charming cottage. There was absolutely everything available that we could have wanted. The cottage was impeccably clean and very comfortable. Plenty of space - all three bedrooms were so nicely appointed and having two bathrooms was a bonus. We truly hated to leave and look forward to coming back here again!

My husband and I flew in to Boston and were so happy to arrive at Bass River. The cottage was so quaint and cozy. We picked up dinner and ate in the kitchen and loved the selection of Cape information and maps. The beds were comfortable and we loved waking up to this cute Cape Cod neighborhood. There was lots of room for just the 2 of us. We were here for a short stay but look forward to returning. Amy was great with communication. Thanks!
