About this house rental
Enjoy an intimate getaway with your own beach, fire pit, and hot tub. We have a pontoon boat available by request - send a message below to Georgia for rental rates and availability. King bed in the master bedroom and a full bed futon with overhead single in second bedroom. Pull-out single sofa in the den. Two beautifully appointed bathrooms completely remodeled. Screened in back porch runs the length of the house. Open den and kitchen combination just remodeled and updated. Two decks, front and rear. Rear deck features hot tub and outdoor shower with gorgeous view of lake. Expansive white sand beach with fixed and floating docks. Hammock and firepit on the beach. Exquisite views of Lake Wylie.

We love the location on and off the lake, everything is easy to get to. We fished a lot from dock and had a Great time , my son caught his biggest catfish ever that week , almost 40lbs. Everyone was so easy to work with and helped in any way they could

This is our second stay and we loved it this time just as much as the first. The hot tub, hammock, and kayaks are so much fun. We roasted marshmallows at the fire pit. We jumped off the dock in the day and fished for catfish at night. The sandy beach area is perfect for kids. We also brought our dog who may even loved the stay more than we did. The property was clean and as pictured. This is one of our favorite lake front properties.

Georgia and her crew were very responsive to our few needs, and the administrative process was great. The location is perfect for a wide range of ages and docking the boat there was seamless. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware that was in good condition. The towels were luxurious and all was clean. Thanks for a great couple of weeks.

Great location on the lake. The beach area was nice to have as it was in the 90's all week. Rented the Pontoon for a few days which was great for exploring the lake and stopping for dinner.

The area was very nice and private, cute kitchen with all the amenities you will need. Cutely decorated. But the front screened in porch was our favorite. Plus the air conditioner works well as a needed plus . Georgia was always pleasant when responding.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pearl. Georgia was a fantastic communicator. Check in process was easy, cottage was just how we expected, yet even cuter! So much to enjoy! Hot tub, hammock, kayaks, canoes, fire pit, and screened in porch were a few of our favorites. King bed was very comfortable. Very private! We will most definitely be back!

Loved the cottage. Our favorite parts were the screened porch, the natural light in the kitchen and main room, the hot tub and the dock. My only small critique is that the beach area could use some attention. The listing should also make it more clear that the three adjoining cottages basically share one beach.

First thing you notice is the view of the lake, it was beautiful.
The house was very cute, rustic. My family loves this style of house. It is definitely an updated 1940’s home.
We came in on Easter holiday so I think it was a little hectic.
The beach was awesome. We roasted marshmallows by the fire. The neighbors were very nice.
There was a stray dog hanging around the backyard but he was pretty friendly.

We kicked off the New Year 2024 with a great start in this quaint, relaxing cottage with hot tub to enjoy in the cooler weather.! Love the view! We will visit again when warmer weather so we can enjoy the beach area.

We were looking for a convenient location for visiting with family who live in Lake Wylie, knowing that we would be spending some time here both just us and with family. It's a beautiful, secluded spot. I'm sure it's even better in warm weather. Great view anyway.

This was a great little place for my family and 2 dogs. We had a few little bumps, but Georgia was absolutely wonderful. She was always very quick to respond! The screened porch was great and really made this home. Rented their Pontoon for a couple days, really made our vacation.

Cute cottage full of light. The yard was great for my grandchildren. Lovely beach area for enjoying the lake. We loved the hot tub after some busy days. My second stay with these hosts and they are wonderful! We will be back!

This little house was just simply amazing for us and our dog. We loved playing in the lake and the views are so beautiful anytime of day. The location of the house is also amazing. It feels like you’re far away from everything, but Carowinds was just 15 minutes away. Georgia is also an amazing host, and very easy to get in touch with. We look forward to our next stay.

Great location, close to town but also secluded enough to feel private. We loved the hammock next to the dock. The house had everything we needed and having multiple bathrooms made it easy to get ready for an event.

Everything was exactly as listed on Vrbo. Access to the lake is excellent, water was warm and clear, beach area was very clean, plenty of water toys available.
Screened in porch was ideal for relaxing and dining. No complaints on this stay would certainly return at some point.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. The beach was fun for a 2 yo. The house is comfortable and the appliances and decor have been outdated. The screened in porch facing the lake is large and very nice. The house is small, but could accommodate 4-5 people comfortably.

We had excellent communication with the owner before arriving and the spot was just as described but the feel was even better. Really enjoyed being in this quaint cabin on the lake. We brought our red heeler and he loved being out on the beach and swimming in the lake many times. Kayaks, paddle board, and the hot tub was a nice addition along with the floaties for when we wanted to cool down with some drinks in hand. We went to Charlotte one day and visited the aquarium and a botanical garden and it was only about 25-30 minutes away which was perfect when we needed to leave our dog for a little while. We also took a day to drive over to High Shoals Falls and hiked for about 2-3 miles with our heeler and it was quiet and cool and just what we love to do outside. The drive was about 1 1/2 hours one way but the scenery really helped us relax even more. It was just an overall great experience and glad we found this place.
One thing of note: you do share the lake beach with 2 other cottages and we mostly had no issues with anyone next to us. However, one night we had a fire pit going and there was a young 20s couple that came back from a nearby restaurant and the guy was stumbling drunk and meandered to our fire pit and had a lengthy conversation. We were really chill about it and even were messing with him since he no longer understood social cues, but it definitely left us with a funny inside joke/story for the ages.

Perfect beach get away
House was clean, we had our little beach to ourselves, the kids all enjoyed it a lot, the deck makes it possible for you to rent boats and they can come right there and pick you up, my husband enjoyed the fishing, water was perfect for our kids to try kayaking not a lot of movement.. So much for every person in your family to enjoy !

We had a great time. The property was clean and well maintained. We loved the big yard and beach area. The trees gave plenty of shade if needed; not to mention the relaxing hammock. We loved that we were able to rinse sand off in the outdoor shower. During the night we enjoyed the hot tub; the family had a blast in it when it started to rain one evening. We did bring our dog who basically stayed in the water the whole time jumping off the dock and swimming. We saw several deer, geese, and cranes. We rented the boat one day which was very fun and easy to use. As recommended, we hit up Papa Docs which had amazing food and great vibe. Georgia was very responsive and accommodating. My husband and I may even come back for an upcoming anniversary without kids! I am sure we will be back as a family though as well. Highly recommend!

This is our third year in a row staying at one of Georgia’s properties (second time at the Pearl). Our experience was as amazing as it has been in prior years. Georgia does a fantastic job and is always available to meet any needs. We will continue to stay at Georgia’s properties for future lake “staycations”!
