The Citrus House is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath house located near the heart of "Old Town" Bay St. Louis. The location provides a private setting very convenient to downtown. This house includes a private pool with a large patio, a private garden, and deck overlooking the pool.
The living room is a warm and inviting space. There are two large sofas, comfortable chairs, and a flat screen TV with a DVR. The living room opens into a spacious dining room. The dining room table has seating for eight people. The dining room is the center of the open floor plan and is connected to both the living room and kitchen. These living areas are spacious and allow for natural sunlight.
The kitchen has been renovated and is fully equipped with a set of earthenware dishes for 12, two sets of everyday stainless flatware, utensils, cookware, and barware. There are two sets of pots and pans and various pyrex dishware for baking. There is a large refrigerator with an icemaker. Appliances include an electric stove, dishwasher, and microwave. Small appliances include a coffeemaker, a toaster, a crockpot and a blender.
The deck is accessed off of the kitchen and allows for outdoor dining. The deck also overlooks the pool and patio area. There is a Weber charcoal grill for outdoor cooking needs.
There are four well-appointed bedrooms that are very comfortable.
The master bedroom entrance is at the end of the main hallway. The hallway entrance is off of the dining room. There is a king size bed with bedside tables and great lighting. There is a large dresser and a seating area. Also, in the bedroom is a flat screen TV. The bedroom has large windows that allow natural light into the room. There is an en suite bathroom with two sinks and a bathtub/shower combination. This bedroom has thermal privacy curtains and blinds.
The other two bedrooms off of the main hall are well appointed with queen beds, chests of drawers, night stands, bedside lamps, and generous closet space. The guest bedrooms have standard size windows with blinds and thermal curtains for privacy. These two bedrooms share a bathroom located off the hall with a shower/tub combination.
The fourth bedroom is located in the back of the house and has a queen bed, a large armoire, and several windows with thermal privacy curtains and blinds. This bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a pedestal sink and shower. It is handicap accessible.
There is a utility room closet just off the kitchen and a side door entrance to the house.The washer and dryer are housed in this closet. There is cabinet storage in this space.
There are five bicycles on the premises available for the guests to use during their stay. We also offer helmets and a bicycle pump, which are stored in the house. We also have four-seat electric golf carts available to rent during your stay.Golf cart rentals must be arranged in advance of your stay.

We loved everything about this home. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Great to walk around. The house is done very well. Super comfortable beds. Fully stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen is just perfect. Loved that ot had many many dishes - all in great condition. Abundance of cooking pots and serving dishes! Made it a pleasurable experience.

Awesome place and awesome location
We had 4 adult couples that stayed for Jeepin The Coast. The location is 2 blocks from downtown Bay St Louis and only 4 blocks from the nightlife. The home is very well kept with 4 spacious bedrooms and 3 baths. It was well stocked with everything that you might need. The pool was chilly however there is plenty of shade to stay out of the heat. We enjoyed it so much we are renting it again next year!!! Highly recommended!!!!

Short getaway (wished it was longer)! My husband and I booked the property due to dog friendly aspect, location and the pool. My sister flew in to surprise me for my birthday! Super clean, spacious home with everything you could ask for! Mary Ellen is great with communication!

Great weekend
This rental was very clean and comfortable for 5 of us, my husband, myself and 3 college age adults (our son and daughter and daughter’s boyfriend). Beds were very comfortable and everyone got their own bedroom which was nice. Weather was perfect although too cool to swim in pool for us. Perfect location in Old Town, we walked everywhere day and night to restaurants, shops etc. Having enough bikes for everyone that came with the house was a great touch! Home is well appointed for necessities for cooking large meals. We brought our 2 small dogs and the house/yard was very comfortable for them as well. The owners seemed to have thought of everything you may need. Thoroughly enjoyed this rental and would rent again especially for large group. Owner called to check on us which was a great touch also; have stayed thru VRBO before in Bay St Louis and other places and never had owners call or reach out to us first. Great weekend and Old Town atmosphere and restaurants exceeded our expectations. Even the college kids loved it!

This was I first time staying at this VRBO. We love Bay St.Louis and love staying at different places. The location of this place is great & very short walk to beach, restaurants & walking around town. Our stay was great especially here because plenty of room. My only thing was that we had planned in using pool. Unfortunately it was not ready to be used. Thank for your hospitality! Very accommodating to our needs. Hopefully pool will be able to use when cleaned & ready so can use it. Loved the place.

This property is perfect for 8 guests. Plenty of room in the common areas and three full baths for convenience. Clean and comfortable with outdoor areas to enjoy. Too cold for the pool but all that area is landscaped nicely with plenty of seating. Perfect location within walking distance of everything. Fun time was had by all!!

Very comfy home
We just spent a long weekend at the Citrus House & loved everything about it. Location is perfect. It’s very close to the waterside shops & restaurants, but far enough away to be out of the hubbub. The neighborhood is very charming. There are several restaurants a short walk away. The home itself is lovely & just as advertised/pictured. We were 5 adults & felt like there was plenty of privacy when we wanted that and the common areas were open for when we wanted to gather together. The fenced in backyard is landscaped very nicely & a cool shady area to enjoy your coffee or wine.

Girls trip in BSL
This was a wonderful experience! Five women celebrating our 50th birthdays. We have been going on trips together for more than 20 years. BSL and the Citrus House was a perfect place for us. We loved the house and all of its accommodations. It was so nice to park and spend the whole weekend walking everywhere we wanted to go.., delicious restaurants, shopping, daquiri shop, bars… all of it. We loved that the house came with bikes as we spent the day riding and shopping. We were a little disappointed with the pool, but the owners explained that the pool service maintenance has been challenging with all of the rain in the area. We hope to visit this area again soon, and I highly recommend this house. The owner did a wonderful job keeping us informed of all that we needed to know.

If you are looking for a great place to take your family for a wonderful weekend citrus house is your place! The owners were so helpful and a joy to work with. You don’t always get that with other rentals. The house is in a great location and suited our needs to the fullest!

We had alreay rented the place for a nice long weekend, by the time we arrived Hurricane Ida was about to take aim on the Gulf Coast. We are from New Orleans and totally expected we would need to shelter in place, why not at this beautiful home. The host went out of their way to make us feel safe and secure both leading up to and after the storm. I am happy to say the hosts were extremely supportive. They were very respectful of our privacy yet went beyond what I would have expected any host to do. The home is huge and very nicely decorated. In fact I stay at dozens of short term rentals each year and I would put this place in the top 5. Super clean, linens were soft and fresh, and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need for cooking. The pool area is an oasis and immediately takes the stress meter down to "chill". The location is near the beach and restaurants/bars yet is a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Please respect this place and treat it well as it is a treasure.
