If you are a family on a budget, love outdoors so you spend most of your time exploring, this is a great place at a great price. Clean, some kitchen facilities to make light meals. The pool is amazing and games room for the kids. Not heaps of room when you are all in but that doesn’t matter as you just need somewhere to shower and sleep. Lisa is very good to deal with, thanks

It was such a relaxing location to stay. I felt like I was transported to a tropical oasis. The resort is so well designed to capture the natural beauty of Port Douglas. Short walk to a quiet stroll on the beach. The food at the resort restaurant is well priced and delicious. I didn’t bother going into town to compete with the holiday crowds and waiting for a table. Communication with the owner was easy and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

No complaints; no raves. 3rd floor, but near an elevator. Room was nice and spacious. Additional charge to use facilities at the resort, but that's OK. Parking was at a premium, but we'd always eventually find a space.

Less than average - Disappointing
Less than average - Disappointing
Pros - The Ramada and it’s staff are very nice and helpful in the less than average circumstances we have faced while staying here Pool area is great, facilities at the hotel are great. Cons - Toilet leaked from the minute we got here, used all our towels on the floor as we had TOILET water everywhere Took the owner 2 days to fix it, not responsive to my communication. No phone number on listing which is ridiculous if something goes wrong The DELUXE bed as advertised is far from DELUXE. It’s very uncomfortable and you can feel the springs in the bed Cleanliness- very poor Think twice when you see the large fee for cleaning. This place hasn’t been cleaning properly for months. Sent owner (Lisa) photos and once again she has been unresponsive I wouldn’t recommend this accommodation to anyone. There’s plenty of better and other options to choose from. A better option would be to go directly through the hotel, at least they can help you unlike this owner.

Quiet and clean. Full use of resort facilities.
Quiet and clean. Full use of resort facilities.
A quiet stay in a clean tidy room. Full use of resort facilities except the gym. No free internet except in hotel foyer. Town is nearly 4 km away so you need a vehicle or take the hotel shuttle or a bike. You can book any tour activities at the reception. Small fridge and microwave in room. King size bed. Easy access to lift and carpark. Shower is over the bath so you need to be able to step in and out over the bath rim. Toilet is leaking water from cistern into bowl but that’s easily fixed as owner is notified. Entry is by card left in keysafe by the door, which may need to be activitated at reception if it doesn’t work. Easily done. A reasonable price for a room at a resort.
