Perfect size and layout for our extended family. Carpets were kinda dirty. Hair Dryer was dirty. Amenities were lacking. No patio furniture. No TV in main bedroom. A chair in the bedroom would be nice. We weren't in the house for extended periods of time so it didn't matter as much. It served our purpose. We were there on the weekend for our son's wedding. We had trouble opening the lockbox but were able to get in thru the garage.

We had three families staying - my parents, mine and my sister's families. There were the perfect amount of rooms and the kids bunk room was a hit!

Everything about this place was awesome! Close ride to be on the ice, big rooms and plenty of them, with a great layout and nice decor. We would 100% stay here again! Book this place and you won't regret it.

Plenty of room for our group and the layout of the home was great. Clean and beautiful location close to the lake.

This was a good space for our family- three adult couples. There were plenty of beds, room to socialize, and a dining table for 6. The kitchen was well-equipped with the exception of table knives- there weren’t enough for all of us. Unfortunately there were some negatives for us. The house wasn’t very clean. We had to wipe down the counters and some of the cabinets, the coffee maker had not been cleaned and we found goldfish crackers under one of the beds. The windows in this house are very dirty and badly need cleaning. One of the toilets didn’t flush and there was no Internet/TV. The toilet got fixed right away but the Internet was out until our 3rd day there. When I called to report this I was initially told I would need to be at the house in a certain time frame for the repair guy. I protested because I didn’t think I should have to give up my vacation time (we did have an activity planned) and eventually they agreed to send someone over. It was also a disappointment that there was no deck furniture as it would have been nice to sit outside. Be warned : There is no T-Mobile service at the house and we had to reception on roaming either.

With a bunk room and two bedrooms/bath on the lower level, and a large master bedroom / bath on the second floor with the kitchen / dining / living area, it made a comfortable stay for us as grandparents (above) and our three grandchildren and their parents (below). We enjoyed this family time in Grand Lake so much!

The size of the house lived up to the ad. It was a little dirty, but not bad. House next door had wild party 2 nights we were there. Otherwise, very nice place!

Spacious home for my Husband and I and our 3 adult children and grandson. Easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park and hiking trails near Grand Lake. We brought our dog and there is a nice dag park at Granby with paved trails. The local neighbors were very welcoming.

Great price, thank your for not charging an astronomical amount of added owners fees. We had everything we needed. Comfy beds, plenty of space for us all, quiet neighborhood, and convenient to the the things we wanted to do.
The house was clean for what they charge. With that said I would suggest a deep clean in the every so often. Little things like wiping inside cabinets, wiping down the interior of the windows and corners for cobwebs. This did not hinder our like of the home, but it would make it shine a little more. I would definitely stay again when visiting Grand Lake. Thank you!

The property was beautiful, it was in a GREAT location. We saw 3 moose at this location. The property owner was super friendly and responded to messages quickly. We had 11 people and it was AMAZING! Hoping to rent this property again in the summer months!!

The property was nice. The open air main room was great for our big family. However, there was dog hair everywhere. If you sat on the couch you were covered in it. We were told by neighbors that the previous tenants had two big German shepherds. I spoke with Jesse, who seemed pretty cool, and he offered to knock $100 off. I told him $200 would be more appropriate based on the cleaning fee amount. No credit or payment was made by Jesse even after repeat texts. I told him we have Venmo. Can someone please make this right?

Loved the access to Grand Lake and West side entrance to RMNP. Plenty of room for our extended family stay. Saw a moose under the neighbor's deck!

Nice Property!
We had a great time at this property. It was big enough and the locale was excellent! Lots of fishing to be had and very close to the property and town was just up the street. We would definitely stay again for sure!

Good Family Property
We had 7 adults and 2 teenagers in our group, and the house was very comfortable for us all to stay and enjoy the surrounding areas. The kitchen and bathrooms and beds were clean and welcoming, although some of the living areas could use some dusting. The front door lock was loose and the entry-way light was sporadic. Also, the grill needed some heavy-duty cleaning. Overall, we recommend this home for other groups/families.

Okay. Nice house but I’ll equipped.
House has potential but hard to cook with the mishmash of what looks like it’s from 1980. 1 roll of paper towels, ran out of dish soap on day 1, ran out of salt, no oil, etc. dishes, knives, etc weren’t good. Drawers and dishes weren’t very clean. Didn’t bother me a ton but wives weren’t thrilled. Need new knife set really bad and appliances are falling apart. House otherwise has potential.

Work Staycation
Pros:
Home has plenty of space
Cons:
Had a bar stool broken.
House picture very deceiving.
Property appears to be flat on VBR's webpage, but the driveway has a steep slope.
Backed trailer down the snow covering driveway to only to get stuck on a sheet of ice. Hence work staycation...3 hours later cleared driveway of ice and got truck & trailer unstuck. Was thankful the homeowner had a scraper to chip the ice. Otherwise fishing was great!

Grand Lake Stay
The property was nice, but not very clean especially the dishes. The linens and towels were clean, but the bbq was filthy! Also, the garbage disposal backed up into the other sink. The owner was very nice to let us check-in early! Enjoyed our stay there even with the few problems.

A Decent Cabin with a Cleanliness Problem
Overall, our stay was nice and I would recommend the cabin to others, providing they improved the cleanliness. There were dirty towels and dirty dishes in the cabinets when we arrived, the cookware was worn and I’m convinced was just left by previous guests, there was a cooking sheet filled with grease just sitting on the grill, the pull-out couch was broken, and one of the bedrooms had a used condom on the floor. Needless to say, we were a bit grossed out. However, to remain mostly positive, the rooms were (generally) nice, it was spacious, and it was really close to the lake.

Excellent Property
Very nice home and layout for adults and kids in their 20’s. We cooked every night and the kitchen had the things we needed. Plenty of parking using the garage and driveway. Quiet location with good proximity to grand lake and granby. Lots of hiking trails and boat rentals at the lake.
The owner was wonderful and very responsive to questions. We would rent this property again for our large group.

Beautiful Location
We just got back from an amazing stay at this property. The location is so convenient as it is close to Grand Lake and Granby and very easy to access especially in the winter, which made getting groceries and finding things to do so easy. The host was so easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. I highly recommend this house and this location. Great first time being in these conditions and hope to be back soon!

Great Experience Overall
The house was very clean, plenty of dishes and supplies. The location is perfect for access to all three lakes up here and only 10 minutes from town it supplies are needed. Quiet little neighborhood. Only complaint is that there’s some handyman work that needs to be done around the house. One of our little ones tripped and cut her foot on nails that were raised from the transition piece of the living room/kitchen. Small things here and there, but not enough to take away from an amazing getaway weekend! Highly recommend!!

Fun stay!
We really enjoyed the layout of the house, and the cleanliness of the interior. The location is great, as it is extremely close to Lake Granby (and a 7 minute drive to Grand Lake). We loved our time there!

Overall a great place, with a large open upper floor plan.
We had a great time, the area is beautiful and the house fit our needs. The location is close to town and 3 different lakes. The open floor plan allows for larger groups to gather and socialize. The owner was very responsive when we did experience a minor issue. I would stay there again.

Wonderful mountain house!
We went up for a girls trip and had the most wonderful time in this home. Most of our time was spent in the home since we wanted a weekend to bond and connect with one another. We found the home to be cozy, well stocked, had the most comfortable beds, close and easy to access restaurants and the most amazing views! We will definitely rent this home again!

The perfect home for a large family
We rented this house for our family vacation because it appeared to be big enough and have enough bathrooms for our family of 9. It also looked like it wasn't on a crowded street. What a pleasant surprise when we arrived!!
The house is about 1.5 blocks from the lake. In a small, quiet neighborhood. And it is HUGE!
When you pull up to the house you'll find enough parking in the driveway for 4 cars. Once inside you walk into a small foyer with a large coat closet. On the 1st floor you have 3 big bedrooms and a full bathroom. One of the bedrooms had 2 full size bunks with trundle beds. Up the stairs is the living room and kitchen. The living room is big and has plenty of seating. 2 of the 3 couches look brand new. The kitchen is well stocked. There was even spices, coffee, sugar, flour, popcorn, etc. This was a very nice surprise. On this floor there is the master bedroom with huge bathroom. The is also a 1/2 bathroom near the kitchen. The deck off the kitchen is large and has a gas grill. The deck is a bit wobbly, but we never felt unsafe.
There are several marinas down the street. Just a short drive brings you to the down town area. Lots of cute shops and places to eat. Drive a little further you're in the Rocky Mountains National Park.
We loved our time here and hated leaving.
The pictures on line do not do this home justice. It's beautiful. Thanks Jessie for opening your home in your beautiful state!!

"NEVER AGAIN"
Upon arriving on July 16, we first encountered the garage which smelled of garbage- it was piled in the corner. The second surprise was a couple of towels for 18 people t The list goes on and on but the biggest problem was one shower for two days for all of us. Apparently the owners were aware of the problem (water backing up into the Master shower and bathtub) as when called, Jesse Rolla apologized and said to fix the problem, they would have to tear up the floor (actually they had to tear up the ceiling in the garage and replace many of the pipes, all of which were really clogged). I know this as fact since the person doing the work showed them to me. Some of the other problems were the garage doors would not close; electrical unit uncovered in floor (our 18 m.o. was curious), the lower bunk bed was nailed shut decreasing number of beds available as advertised (we had brought air mattress, thank goodness). I had told Mr. Rolla that our children loved to swim and he said the lake was close by. Unfortunately we had to drive a distance to find a turn off that alllowed you to get your feet wet. Our family left feeling the site was not up to the advertisement and they suggested we ask for a refund. I called relating this to Mr. Rolla who seemed agreeable. We emailed back and forth with no final number as Mr. Rolla's last email said he was having problems and that he would get back to me. This was on September 1. There has been no communication since.
Overall, our family decided "never again".

It was nice and in a beautiful location.
I didn't like the main room upstairs, but we still enjoyed the house a lot. Just wanted to let you know that when we got there the back deck light is out and one of the bulbs over the table was out, and when we left there were 2 bulbs over the table out. I believe there is a fishing pole in one of the closets that future guests can enjoy and I'm sorry if there were worms left in the mini fridge. I believe most of the trash was put into the can in the garage. This place is close to the winding river ranch wedding venue which had a wedding we were there for. Thank you for the use of your beautiful cabin/house. I would have liked to know about the upstairs kitchen living room, I don't do steps well, but I just took the master suite and didn't go up and down more than I had to. (the little ones loved the stairs, they surfed down on their bellies...2 & 4yrs).

Needs some TLC
We did enjoy our stay but their were a few items that should be attended to.
Fridge is old and icemaker is broken. Dishwasher falls forward out from counter when opened. Garage door has loose wooden boards. Vent in master bath is missing. Overall we did enjoy our stay.
