Spacious house with well-stocked kitchen, close to great restaurants and the beach. Wonderful for families, dog friendly, and easy access to bay beach.

Enjoyed the peace and quiet.

This house was a substitute for one we had reserved up in Lincoln City, Ore. which had a water outage. We were quite pleased with the house and the area. Much nicer than a property we stayed at in Washington last year.

Plenty of space, very quiet, single floor living perfect for our mobility issues, very clean upon arrival, kitchen well-appointed.

I always love visiting the Newport/Waldport area and this house was a perfect base for all the outside activities. Quiet area but close to great restaurants and the beach.

We love staying here, the home is right on the bay. Home is fully stocked with all you may need.

This house was great to stay at: bayfront access from the property, well stocked kitchen, nice hot tub, comfortable beds, etc. There are just a few things that would make it a 5/5, instead of a 4/5: the yard could really use some work. There were lots of weeds, and the fence is missing boards in quite a few places. My dog kept leaving the yard and even went over to the next door neighbors as he fit through the broken slats in the fence. I realize replacing the whole fence is expensive, but just replacing the missing boards would greatly help.

We were happy with our experience. The interior of the house was clean, but there were a lot of cobwebs around all of the windows, door, lights, etc which is a little off putting. Also the lawn was in desperate need of being mowed. The back deck could use some work.
Some places are uneven with boards that move which could be a safety issue. Just a couple of easy things to improve the experience. The house is older but has had some updates. It was clean and comfortable with a great location. Very close to places to eat and the grocery store. The girls also loved the beach and playing in the river/bay. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would be happy to stay again.

The lawn had dandelions and other weeds above my waste! We called on Monday morning and the yard was still not mowed when we left the following Sunday! We were not able to entertain our friends at the house because we could not set up the yard games at all. We asked for compensation two weeks ago, on the day we left, and still have not heard a word.

Found the house to be as advertised and shown in photos. Despite being an older house, it had a well-appointed kitchen/appliances with everything needed to cook on your own. Beds very nice with plenty of linens available. Very nice view of Waldport bridge from front room and deck though winter weather kept us off the deck except for use of hot tub which was relaxing. 3 minute walk to beach on mouth of the river--great fun for people and dog alike. Wifi and Direct TV was excellent.

Very clean and well-stocked kitchen. Close to Port of Alsea docks so perfect location for crabbers. Backyard has a short trail to the river beach which was perfect for our dog. King bed in master bedroom was very comfortable. TV in living room only has a movie channel… 3 remotes with no instructions so we had to call for help and found out they only had a movie channel. Wanted to watch a college football game but could only get it on the TV in the master bedroom. Suggest the owners upgrade the second bed from a full to a queen at some point. Also suggest the furniture in the living room be arranged so the sofa faces the view of the Waldport Bridge.
We had a lovely stay and will definitely consider returning.

There were a couple of things we want you to be aware of. The front door was very hard to open, had to work at it awhile. Also, we couldn't figure out how to get tv in the living room until last day, realized you have to point the remote to the box across the room! The queen bed wasn't very comforable, but others were great! But, we did enjoy our stay!

This is our second time choosing this home for our weekend in Waldport… couldn’t ask for anything more. Thanks for a great place for the whole family to stay.

The location may not be on the ocean but the sandy beach a 1 min walk from the deck is private and peaceful. The view of the bridge during the day is great and fabulous with the lights at night. Hot Tub a huge plus! Great Kitchen! We will be back! We LOVED it! An additional chair for the living room would be nice!

Awesome somewhat secluded little house!

We loved the location which is walkable to all of Waldport if you want or an easy drive. The path out the backyard leads to the bay beach which our girls explored and loved. The spot is close to Newport and tons of beaches with everything from flat sand to tide pools to rocky shores, you pick! Bathrooms and bedrooms were great, the only thing we would suggest is a darker blind/drape for the front window which would have cut down on the number of times our pup barked at neighbors LOL. The kitchen has everything you could want, loads of dishes and pots and pans. The oven is nicer than ours at home with two oven options. Highly recommend this home!

Location was excellent nice short walk to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans. Throw rugs could use a cleaning. Yard is not completely fenced for dogs.🙁 Great response time Microwave broke but was replaced the next day. Overall I would recommend.

Perfect family gathering place
We were so blessed to have such a wonderful house to stay in and the weather cooperated amazingly. The house was extremely clean, the bed's comfortable and the kitchen was a chef's dream. All amenities were there in the kitchen to help us create famous family recipes. Our family is large, so having a large table to gather around, play games, and eat meals, was very important. The table was used to create memories that will last a lifetime. The hot tub was such a luxury and we found it hot and clean. With such a great view, it was perfect to sit in and relax. Easy access to the beach allowed us some great claming. The boat docks were literally 2 blocks and we had so much fun renting the boat and crabbing. We will be back!

Perfect for a multi-generational group
Wonderful for our family group. We enjoyed having a big room and deck for the toddlers to play (all the kids books and puzzles were a bonus), easy access to a quiet bayside beach right behind the house, exceptionally well-equipped kitchen, easy walk to the fabulous Pacific Sourdough Bakery (be warned, it’s only open Thurs-Sat 10-3.)

Great Thanksgiving stay for family of 4
Large, clean, well-outfitted kitchen. Comfortably accommodated 4 adults while preparing Thanksgiving dinner. Enough dishes etc to serve 6-8 people, and everything we needed to cook with. Hot tub was clean and hot when we arrived.

Great Place
This is a great place on the bay with great views of the bridge and water. And a short walk to docks, water, grocery store, and restaurants. It's in a super quiet neighborhood so it's very peaceful. We enjoyed our stay. While it's a nice place on the bay, it's no beachfront home, but it's a great value considering that.

The house was clean and updated nicely. We had everything we could need and more. Would love to stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect location
Perfect place for a getaway. Even when it rained and we couldn’t get out there were books and games to keep the family busy. Would stay again

No Hot Tub
This house does not have a working hot tub. There were numerous references to the hot tub in the posting, the hot tub key was included with the house keys, and the hot tub rules were posted inside the house. But when we got our suits on and opened up the hot tub, we discovered that it was half-full and luke warm. Upon calling Vacasa, they informed us that the hot tub does not work. We would not have booked this place if we knew that the hot tub didn't work, and we certainly wouldn't have paid as much as we did for it. So if this posting still mentions the hot tub, don't be fooled; there is no hot tub.

Be careful
Location is perfect. House is more than a huge disappointment. Very dirty, a terrible smell that febrese, candles, and air fresheners could not cover, dirty underwear on floor! Obviously never vacuumed with litter and thick dust under and behind furniture. The windows were very dirty and hot would not hold water. Won't rent this house again. For the cleaning charge (400.00) this house has not been cleaned in a very long time.

Great house with amazing view of Waldport bridge.

Great find
We really enjoyed the house, pictures don’t show how big the house is so plenty of room for our family and little pup to lounge, really enjoyed the back pathway to the sand, perfect view! I would only have to say maybe changing the master bath door would be better as it is not working won’t lock and reinforcing the back patio railing as it is very shaky and didn’t seem safe. But overall great place to stay would definitely book again.

Bliss! Clean, Quiet and Roomy
This house way exceeded my expectations. It is on a very quiet street. Curb appeal isn't much, but the inside was CLEAN, and very roomy. Large kitchen, large master bedroom, large living area, great yard, amazing deck and hot tub with a view of the bay. The photos listed as of August 2020 didn't show the upgraded furniture, and rugs. My favorite part was the one minute easy walk to the beach/bay from the backyard. Most days, we were the only ones out there with total privacy. The only things that would have improved the home were door mats at each entry, bath rugs and a kitchen rug. Bathroom floors can get pretty slick. And hooks for towels in the master bath would be helpful, along with hooks outdoors for towels and wet suits. The only other note I would make to those staying with dogs, is the fence is great as long as your dog is not a small breed. Our 15 lb schnauzer got out quite regularly due to clearance under the fence and a few gaps. But these were minor issues.

Great location and great view

Tranquil and spacious
The house feels a bit dated, especially the kitchen, with lots of dark wood and wood-grained Formica. But it is spacious, very clean, well-maintained, and with a tranquil, attractive location. The deck and hot tub facing the Alsea River Estuary and bridge are also very nice. I would happily stay here again!

Try another property
This house was very worn. Furniture is old and uncomfortable. The deck has many rotten boards with screws coming out of them. In the master bathroom you can’t close the shower curtain and in the main house bathroom the shower faucet is not attached fully to the wall. The house needs a lot of work.

Second time staying !
We really love this house , it really does feel like a home away from home . There are minor things that should still be handled from last year , but doesn't impact the enjoyment of the stay . We will continue booking for years to come .

Enjoyed our stay!
Great for a low-key relaxing vacation. Just 2 minutes to the Bay to walk or go clamming. Just a few minutes more to the Port area for crabbing or a casual meal at the Salty Dawg, Azul, or Alsea Bay Crab Co. Lots of beach areas just a quick drive away.
Well-stocked kitchen - all the pots, pans, appliances, crab crackers/pickers, towels, glasses, and dishes you could want, and plenty of spices. Bring your own olive oil, or a grocery is just a few minutes away.
Recommend bringing your own outdoor seating if you want to relax on the patio - there were 4 older patio chairs available but they all have metal frames that are rusty. There are nearby hardware/dollar stores to pick some up at if needed.
If you are thinking of bringing a dog, the fence doesn't fully enclose the yard and the slats are pretty loose - there were a number of cats and a dog that wandered through and hung out in the backyard - and there is a dog or two next door that sometimes hangs out in its own yard and likes to bark.

Great Stay in Waldport
We spent four nights at this house with our family of five and our dog. The house was great for us - spacious and well-equipped. We loved that the bay was so close....a short path from the house. The view of the bridge was really pretty, especially at sunset. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. Would stay here again. Thanks!
