The house was very clean and tidy and had everything we were looking for! The board games were great to have to hangout and the pool access was really nice.

Overall it was a nice property. Twice we got locked out of the property because of a faulty e-lock. This was moderately annoying and an inconvenience coming home late with two extremely tired children and no way into the house Otherwise it was fine. Thanks

Our family came fro Virginia, Europe and Portland for our first ever gathering. This two-story unit with its separate master suite, full kitchen and big living room with a fireplace was perfect. Everyone had the privacy they needed, yet we also had a big room in which to gather. We lit the fire for a cozy afternoon on a rainy day, cooperated on meal prep, and spent lots of time on the mountain when the weather was fine. My only complaint was an abnormally early check-out time that didn't give us time for breakfast. Noon would have been fair.

Excellent location with clear details. Would be nice to have a table and chairs on the back deck. DEFINITELY in need of updated shower heads. If we stayed again I’m bring my own.

Comfortable and well stocked, nice to have benefit of pool/hot tub from the resort down the road. close to snow-play on Mt Hood!

Huge apartment home 30 minutes from Timberline Lodge. Everything was great, except the toilet bowls were dirty, but the owners gave us a discount to make up for it. The community pool was great to be able to use, but it wasn't the cleanest.

What a value! Two bedrooms, three bathrooms, a huge TV room, and a wood-burning fireplace with a huge store of wood in the garage. Best bang for the Buck of any place I’ve stayed in this area.

We had a great time, spacious enough for us and enough rooms to allow everyone to go their separate ways, if needed.
Just a few items management needs to be aware of...the cushion on the couch in the fame room is tearing away from the base of the couch, there is a large rip at the base of the rust colored couch in the nook area, the toilet in the ensuite was atrocious (I think it has been missed in getting a thorough cleaning), and finally there were earwigs that came out of the jets in the tub.

Nice place for a weekend getaway. 7 ladies had a great time. We loved the fireplace and the entertainment room upstairs. We had fun at the hot tub and the pool. Drawback were (1) that dining only seats 6, no extra chairs available so we could all dine in together; (2) that paper towel only has few sheets, most places we've stayed have at least a roll of paper towel provided for use (3) the back deck wasn't clean, it needs to be power-washed as it's slimy. One of us slipped and almost fell at the back deck steps. The Bluetooth speaker inhouse is an +++ add-on, although we brought our own speaker. I booked for 10 people, but only 7 of us actually showed up and only 2 good beds were available. The sofa bed didn't have a mattress and was broken. There was garbage left and the sink had dirty pizza pan when we arrived. There's nice diner close by where we had dinner and few booze. Overall, twas a nice time.

Amazing house!!
The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The only minor gripe we had was the master bathroom shower because the water pressure was low and the shower head sprayed the water out in a very inefficient way but everything else was great!

Complete lack of responsiveness
This is a very nice house but they were quite a few issues. The key to the pool did not work which was a huge issue for us with our kids. One of the sofa beds was broken and that affected our large group. And reaching out to VRBO we simply sat on hold and a couple of us tried and we spent at least three hours trying to get them on hold with no response .I am appalled At the lack of responsiveness. I also think at 10 AM check out is completely unreasonable. It’s just too early and with the time change it was actually 9 AM for us and I got no response from VRBO until I called the emergency line and then I still had to wait 20 minutes and talk to two different people who couldn’t do anything for me. We will not be staying here again which is unfortunate because it’s a nice home. If I were the homeowners I would not be working with VRBO because the service is terrible! But also if I were the homeowner I would not have a 10 AM check out it’s completely unreasonable. The standard time is 11 AM and carving more time off of this is really unfair.

Great getaway home!
Super layout, some nice modern amenities and overall very comfortable place to relax. Highly recommended.

Spacious and great location
Spacious and had all the basics we needed. Great location. What it needs:
Updated furniture (things aren’t that comfortable), better king bed sheets, information on what’s there such as family friendly DVD’s, smart TV vs what’s not there.
But most importantly, we desired better communication on the resort amenities and how to have access to the shared pool area. I read the entire (outdated and messy) book that did not once mention this.
But the place is nice, just needs some more TLC. Thank you!

Great house for a large group
The house accommodated our group of 9 very well (3 adults, 2 young adults and 4 pre-teens) and we were able to prepare all our meals in the kitchen relatively well. Lots of room for garbage and the hot water was extra hot which allowed for all those showers! I was very impressed with the Vacasa help team for all our little questions. My only disappointment was that we could not check in early and had to leave early because of "COVID requirements" and I can accept that, BUT the house was not cleaned very well. We did arrive about an hour early and although the house was ready for us, we were not allowed in before 4 so we had to hang out in the driveway which worried me that we were bothering the neighborhood. Over our 2 day stay I found a pair of women's boots in the hallway closet and 3 empty wine bottles on the kitchen counter waiting to be recycled!

The lodging was wonderful, large roomy and comfortable. My enthusiasm ends here. We stayed for 7 days and found only two garbage bags, which was a challenge since we cook our meals at home. We needed to run the dishwasher on Sunday and no dish soap, I called the 800 number and was assured the local support person would be in contact. No one called or responded. We bought dishwasher soap on our own. On Tuesday we arrived and on the porch was soap. Also the fireplace glass door kept falling apart on me. I had to screw it back together twice. I pity the person that stays there next and wants to make a fire. Lastly, every time I have stayed at a VRBO home in the past I get a nice welcome email and some tips on local things and places to try. I sent two emails asking for tips as this was our 39th wedding anniversary and what might be a great romantic place to try. Not a single email reply. I don't know if the difference in this stay was because we tried Vacasa, I will NEVER use their service again. The home is wonderful and the area beautiful it deserves better management locally!

Great location, terrible internet service
The location was great, could have been cleaner - floors, some grime. The Internet service was awful which was a challenge for my son taking college classes on line. Used all of our personal hotspot data and impossible to conduct Zoom business calls. Be warned!

cozy home
This home is very cozy and inviting. Great location as well, close to skiing and snow shoeing.
It could use some interior painting. The wall above the stove needs to be cleaned.
It looked like the housekeepers forgot to sweep and vaccum a few rooms, there were some towels hanging on the back of the bathroom door. There was also hair in the shower downstairs.
I called VaCasa to let them know about an issue and the floors and they offered for housekeeping to come back out, but at that time I only thought it was the floors since we were on our way out to the snow.

Lovely place to stay. Very clean, easy access to The Mountain. Bushes need to be trimmed back in front to show house numbers and safer backing out of driveway. Master toilet runs if not checked. Cosmetic changes/fixes only. Everything else was perfect!

Ski & tubing trip
House was nice sized & great to have the pool & hot tub. However the hidabeds need to be replaced, springs aren’t great if ya have to have a board under as well as foam toppers, which really didn’t help with comfort. Suggest complete new mattress & spring sets. There are better ones out there. TV in room upstairs sound would only work on Netflix. Called Vacasa & property mngr never called back to check or maybe have the answer as we tried all options w/remotes. There is no TV in main living room so that was a mute point for the little kids or big ones wanting to watch sports. Dishwasher doesn’t drain all the way so may want to get that checked. Several airbeds but some w/out plugs & ones that did deflated w/in 20 min so adult kids were stuck on the lumpy beds. If not for the pool & spa I probably would’ve given it 3 stars!!

Spring break trip to snow
Great having access to the pool & spa @ the resort. House is good sized for the 10 of us, nicely equipped kitchen, but the mattresses/springs on fold out beds need serious attention, adding the flat boards & foam pads DID not help. It would’ve been horrible had older adults been trying to sleep on them. Had 16/17/18 yr olds & 2 kids on one. Big TV in upstairs room would’ve been awesome if the volume worked on it not just on Netflix channel!!

Mt Hood Ski Vacation
Great location for this rental. 4 adults, 3 kids. Could use some updating, front door locks need replaced and fireplace needs to be cleaned and updated/fixed. House was smoky even with vent fully open. Had to put fire out and open windows to air house out. Nothing huge, but needs attention. Views of golf course and hills were great. We'll stay here again. Good value

Lovely weekend retreat
We were in the area for a conference at the main hotel. It was just perfect for the 5 of us. An easy 5 minute walk to the main lobby, and had all the utensils we needed to be able to cook our own meals. Plenty of towels and amenities!

THINK TWISE and then don't book.
This house was a disappointment. Staying in this house makes me wonder where all those good reviews coming from...
THE GOOD
- This house has a large garage that can fit two cars in it.
- There is plenty of firewood (which you better not use).
- Hot and cold water.
DISAPPOINTMENTS
- This house is a DUPLEX. This is not reflected on the image but you have neighbors behind the wall. So keep your music volume lower...
- The driveway to the garage was heavily covered with snow. We had to clean it ourselves so our AUDI can make it to the garage... Even my Subaru with winter tires had a rough time getting there.
- Kitchenware was dirty. We had to wash everything before using it.
- Only 1 pan and 1 pot were provided. The house is meant to sleep up to 10 people, and that's how many people we had. Thanks to our girls who brought extra pots.
- 2 out of 4 burners on a stove do not work.
EVERYTHING IN THE HOUSE IS OLD AND YOU GET NO PRIVACY
- Bathroom door locks have weird design and not working. It’s a matter of chance if the door happens to be locked when you doing your business.
- Master bedroom shower room is not locking. There is a door without a lock. So if you want to have some privacy you have to lock the master bedroom entirely or hope for the best.
- Toilets have mineral buildup and haven’t been cleaned properly in a long time.
TOO COLD or TOO HOT
- "Sleeps 10" means it has two actual bedrooms and the rest of people have to sleep on the pull out couches.
- The second floor gets extremely hot. One room doesn’t have windows in it so no chances to let cool air in. In order to sleep there, you have to turn off the heating system. At the same time, the first floor gets very cold at night and you wake up early morning because of cold ... and again - no blankets
- The house does not have extra blankets. We had to gather extra bed sheets to use them as blankets. Even the master bedroom has only one blanket for the bed. Considering the possibility of 10 people staying, the house should have enough individual blankets for each person!
DO NOT GO INTO HOT TUB
- Hot tub and pool are located a few streets away from a house and belong to an entire apartment complex.
- Pool water is only warm while you moving around and if you don't, you are getting cold.
- Hot tub water was stinking like urine. It was full of people when we came and the smell was just horrible. And it is not regular “pool smell” I’m talking about - they didn’t have enough Christine in water.

This was a nice, clean, comfortable condo in a good location, but a little far from Portland..

Our weekend had 8 adult women. We found the 2 beds comfortable but the hide a beds upstairs not. Both need a cushion or layers of blankets to soften and quiet the springs. Both of those couches look pretty new but not comfy as the beds. The fireplace did not draw well. No fire kindling and/or fire starter material. No axe to chop smaller. Need to bring fire starters or paper. Once the fire got really hot, it drew up the smoke but not entirely. Needless to say we only had fire first night. We got to the house and it was 50 degrees. It was warmer outside than in. Hence why we started a fire. Chimney needs a cleaning I think. The place could use an interior painting soon. Lots of marks and such things on the walls. The banister gave one a big sliver because of ragged edge. Needs sanding. One bathroom could use some attention and update but is still functioning fine. The lack of tv in the living room is a bit odd, but we were OK with it overall. We cooked all weekend in and the kitchen and found it was well equipped. There were no golfers on the course (either closed or private, not sure) and a gorgeous weekend so we liked being outside in the back in the quiet, peaceful area. Not a big deck so we sprawled into backyard area. Worked for us and enjoyed being notified of late checkout option which we did. Did not leave til 3pm+ to sit and enjoy the weather in back of house. We liked the nature trail across the street for a mile walk. There were people in the connecting duplex but did not hear them. Overall, some little things but we would rent here again. Thanks for sharing your rental in Welches.
