We were actually booked for the Investigative Reporting condo but were kindly offered a free upgrade to their larger space Outdoor and Adventure a few days before arrival so this is more of a review for that apartment but I’m guessing my experience will apply to the entire building. The condo was secure, bright, updated, tastefully decorated, IMMACULATELY clean and exactly as described! The beds were comfy, the water hot and the a/c was cold which you need in NOLA in June! Having the kitchen was nice, there’s a grocery a short walk away and we made breakfast several mornings and snacks at night. We used the washer/dryer several times and detergent and dryer sheets were provided. The location was great, only two blocks to Canal Street with tons of shops and restaurants, the streetcars and then another quick couple blocks to Bourbon Street. We walked or took streetcars everywhere. Yes, there is some noise currently happening in the alley but that can’t last forever and can’t be helped..we just closed the bedroom door which was at the opposite end of the condo and it was fine. Barbara was so easy to work with and we had all we needed after sightseeing, touring and let’s be honest, day drinking. If you’re visiting NOLA, we highly recommend the Picayune!

I had trouble getting when i first got there, but Barbara was very responsive and helpful and made this trip a pleasurable one. If you're looking for a great place for your visit to New Orleans, this is it. I will definitely be back.
