Come, stay & play at our oasis, Vista Mare is a Casual Coastal third floor condo located just steps from the sugar white sands of the gulf of Mexico. The Ambiance of the Beach is breath taking. Your life will stand still , move slower as you stay at this three story cozy quaint complex . It's the perfect location in Destin for a lovers romantic week-end get-away or a family vacation making memories of a life time. You will enjoy staying, living the lifestyle in this amazing Beach community called Crystal Beach. The streets are lined with Palm trees, the breeze is always cool, sand is always sugar white and the waters are always emerald green.
When you arrive, to the condo and start planning your days you will have a hard time trying to decide if you want to enjoy the beach that is just steps away, or spend the day at the pool & hot tub. Maybe you will decide to use the grilling area, to cook for dinner on the balcony while watching the sun-set. In the morning you will be waking up to see the Emerald Green Waters. Destin commons is just across Hwy 98 and has 100's of name brand stores, along with some awesome eateries. Walk down to Camille's restaurant it’s just down on the corner. Have some lunch, Feel the breeze while you listen to music playing outside by the beach. There is Beach t-shirt Shoppes, Alvin Islands, on all corners. The Premier Outlet Silver Sands is just about 3 miles. Don't forget The Grande Boulevard Sandestin shopping center. Market Place of Sandestin. You must make the 4 mile trip to t he Emeralde Grande at Harbor Walk to enjoy the strip, events? See the Charter boats come in with the catch for the day.

We enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the ocean view from the balcony.
The only thing I was disappointed in was the kitchen supplies. There were only 3 or 4 forks, no toaster oven and not very many measuring Cup/spoons. Also, the dishwasher would not dissolve Or the liquid detergent that was provided. We ended up having to hand wash the dishes. When we got there and checked in, there were dirty utensils in the utensil drawer. When doing laundry it was difficult at times to get the wet clothes into the dryer because the door would not stay open. Sometimes it took two of us to transfer the laundry, 1 person holding the door and the other one, transferring it out of the washer into the dryer. The washer and dryer worked great. The door just needs to be fixed to stay open.

The best part is being able to walk right across the street to the beach!! And not only that, you can press a button and the traffic stops for you!! That feature is great for the kids. Also, with the beach being right across the street, there’s no loading and unloading the car with all the kids and all the stuff. The only drawbacks are that Destin has too much traffic, and there was no toaster at the condo. There are attractions around if you can find any that aren’t too expensive. Perfect place to go to if all you care about is the beach!!!

This is our 2nd time staying here. It’s across the road from the beach access and we could see the water from our balcony and people watch. We enjoyed our stay on Crystal Beach! It wasn’t real crowded until the end of the week. We didn’t have issues so we didn’t need to contact the host. He did check in and see how things were going. The only thing I would change is the lock to a keyless entry door.

The location and proximity to the beach is great! The rest is not so great. Even if you over look that the condo is not well maintained (glue and gaps all over the floors, GFI coming out of the wall, stove top has a huge crack in a burner, oven was dirty, peeling paint and rusty ac vents) uncomfortable beds just ruin the whole trip! The beds were very uncomfortable; severe dips in the middle and the bunk bed mattresses are super thin (only good for people under 75 pounds ish). Another concern is it is on the 3rd floor and no elevator. We were given the wrong codes for the WiFi and pool but owner sent us the right ones once we messaged him.
Even though the location was great, the bed situation will be reason enough not to stay again. I

We enjoyed staying at this condo! It was very clean and close to everything! It has everything you need; dishes, ice maker, towels, washer and dryer, etc. You can definitely sit on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful view and it is a short walk to the beach, literally a minute or two. We will definitely stay here again on our next vacation!

I took my granddaughter here for a graduation present along with my son and one of her friends.the property was clean and had everything that was listed in the description. Check in was easy, and the owners were in communication before and during our stay. The condo had a little wear and tear with paint, blinds ect but overall was perfect for us. The location was within easy access to everything Destin has to offer. The view of the ocean from the balcony was beautiful, I would definitely stay there again, also worth mentioning it is on the third floor so if anyone has mobility issues you may need to look for something with easier access.

Overall a great stay with plenty of room for everyone to sleep. Bathrooms aren’t huge but enough to shower. I would recommend a few more bath towels to keep down on the laundry but there were enough for everyone to use. We had a quick response when needed. The beach is a short walk across the road & the pool is great. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the condo but it was plenty big enough to cook when needed, sleep & shower. I definitely would stay again.

We specifically asked if there was an icemaker. We were told there was. Half an hour before check-in an email was sent to me saying the ice maker was broke and a new frig was being delivered 4 days into our stay. We went and nought ice. As we unpacked I attempted to cook a lasagna I had brought. The oven took 20-25 to preheat. It was taking so long to bake I cut it in half, put it into glass pans and put it in the microwave. The microwave was broke! I put the lasagna back in the oven. I wanted to make garlic bread. No pans to bake the bread on so I tried to make them on top of the stove with the cracked top in pans that are warped and scratched so badly the non-stick coating came off on the food!! Needless to say that was not safe to eat. I went to wash the dishes and discovered the garbage disposal does not work. If this situation was not so un-funny it would have been laughable. The floor has edges that are coming up and present a danger to bare feet. We tried to contact the owner and went to voicemail for both numbers. We contacted VRBO and they were able to get a hold if the owner. This is close to midnight. The owner apologized and acknowledged the issues and agreed to a cancelation. VRBO's response to this was to tell us to find a hotel room and they would reimburse us for a certain amount (approximately $600.00). It had to be with a hotel they contract with, in the same area, and we had to find it ourselves and pay for it upfront. Of course we ww

This is our second stay in this condo. We absolutely love the location and the pool/hot tub. Could definitely use a few more bath towels. We had a slight issue during our stay, reached out to Allen and it was taken care of right away. Couldn’t have asked for a better week. We can’t wait to go back next year.

This was our second time staying at this property while visiting Destin. The condo is spacious and accommodates our large family. The location is near the beach so we could walk there. The check in process caused me some anxiety because you don't get the access codes/instructions until a couple hours before check in. Traveling over 11 hours to get there makes that a little nerve wrecking, I like the security of knowing I have a place to stay and all the details are lined out before I get there. The property manager maintained contact during our stay. The bathroom light was not working upon entry, but he quickly had the problem solved. For the $, this location is unbeatable for its amenities. The pool was also great for the kids when they got tired of the sand.

This condo accommodated our family of 8. We could see the beach from our balcony. The view was beautiful. The only mild inconvenience was the flooring/walls seemed thin as the downstairs neighbor kept coming up to complain about our kids who were not being that loud. Excellent place to stay. Property is right across the street from a walkway to the gulf. View from the porch is amazing. There is a pool and hot tub that were wonderful and very clean. The condo itself was spacious and very well appointed. I did contact the owner with a question regarding the access code to the pool and he got back to me immediately. Highly recommend!

No elevator, we were on the 3rd floor, ice maker never worked, 2nd bedroom mattresses extremely uncomfortable, one guest had to go to chiropractor while there, Not enough seating in living room for 4 adults let alone 6 adults, Both bathrooms the same and extremely small, toilet in master would continue to run. It was listed as newly renovated, I think the owner really got screwed with the workmanship . Floors had old glue all over them, dishwasher not adherred in cabinet, would pull out everytime it was used and scratch the cabinet and handle next to it. Location was perfect and balcony was great. Perfectly cleaned.

It was a nice place. It was clean except for the ceiling fans, which need cleaned badly. I washed the towels like they asked, but I think that should be the housekeepers job, not mine. I was the guest. It was nice to be so close to the beach, which was beautiful!! All in all, it was a nice place to stay!
