About this farm stay rental
The Property
Lavender Farm provides you with your own luxurious three bedroom farmhouse in the heart of the Yarra Valley just 6km from the lovely small town of Healesville. The accommodation is fully self-contained and only one booking is taken at a time so you have exclusive use of the house; whether you are a couple, a family or small group of friends. The owners, Tony and Jacky, have a separate house on the property and are available if you want any help or advice on your holiday.
The house is set on 13 acres with beautiful gardens and native bird-life. You are welcome to help yourself to any seasonal fruit, vegetables and herbs growing in the cottage garden and orchard. There is a veranda around 3 sides of the house so you can enjoy a cup of coffee watching the sunrise or a glass of wine watching the sun set.
The property is pet friendly so, as long as your pet is also friendly, it is welcome. There is also the opportunity to bring your own horse. There is a fenced swimming pool on the property next to the owners house which is generally available for use 10am-4pm Mondays to Saturdays and other times by arrangement. The pool is solar heated. Note: the pool may be shared by guests in the pool house studio.
At weekends, there is a 2 night minimum stay requirement and discounts are provided for stays of 4 or more nights.
The House
The house is very spacious, providing you with a large lounge room with a wood fire, a fully equipped kitchen and a separate dining room. On arrival your kitchen is stocked with breakfast provisions featuring local produce including organic granola, Artisan bread from Innocent Bystander, free-range eggs and bacon.
There are three bedrooms: one Queen-size with an ensuite bathroom, one double and one twin. The main bathroom has a shower and a spa bath with views over the valley. There is an additional small room with a set of bunks which can be used for a larger family or a small group and there is a laundry with washing machine and dryer.
All the linen and towels are provided for your stay and there is free wifi and a selection of books and DVDs. The bedrooms and living room all have reverse cycle heaters/ air conditioners and there are electric blankets on all the beds for those chilly winter nights.

Beautiful location in Badger Creek. Location and views are lovely. Close to Healesville. Hosts are very welcoming with a lovely wood fire already lit. Eggs, bacon, bread and a walnut cake awaited us. Comfortable and cosy place.

Beautiful grounds, lovely touches on arrival. Took lemons home, ate homemade cake, sat by the fire. It was gorgeous.

Lovely property
We had a lovely stay. Jacky and Tony were very friendly and happy to help. The cake on arrival was delicious! Not quite as private as I thought with a few different people attending to the horses on the property throughout the day. The two cute dogs love to say hello, but can be a bit too much at times. It made it a little bit tricky with our own dog. We enjoyed the proximity to Healesville Sanctuary. We ended up spending the whole day there as we were able to quickly drive home for our toddler's lunchtime nap. Perfect location!

Magnificent stay
There were 4 people in our party and we all agreed it was just perfect.
There was everything there you needed and even a homemade cake ready for our first cup of tea.
You had plenty of privacy but if you wanted you can stroll around the paddack and pond and meet all the animals.
I got lots of vegie gardening tips off Jacky.
If we ever come this way again we would stay here.
Just devine

Beautiful gardens. House is neat and tidy and the location was perfect.
Beautiful location, house was lovely and cozy and had everything we needed. The pool area and garden was super child friendly and full of amazing little play areas. Only thing is if you don’t like dogs this place isn’t for you. If you love dogs then this is the exact place for you. I would recommend and return again.

Wonderful property - will come again
We thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay at the Lavender Farm cottage. The cottage was very roomy, fully equipped with beautiful, thoughtful touches of fresh flowers, bread, eggs for our stay. The pool was heavenly during the day, our dog enjoyed walking around the property and watching the native birds from the balcony. Thank you Jacky and Tony for a wonderful stay, we hope to come back soon- for a longer stay.

Lavender Farm is such a lovely place to be. Tony and Jacky are such an excellent host...we felt so welcomed by all the extra lovely touches, i.e. wood fire heater was heated prior to our arrival, homemade & delicious walnut cake, lavender sprigs around the house. Not to mention the friendly Rory (dog). We all enjoyed the spa bath in winter, the beautiful sunset view from the windows.. Two nights were too short ;-) We absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

We thought that Lavender Farm was absolutely beautiful! The extra supplies ( cake ) was a lovely touch, the house and amenities were fantastic!Unfortunately our dog couldn't be left off leash as the front gate was left open, but thats ok - shes a puppy we understand that other dogs may not roam as freely as what ours might have done. Thanks again,Diana G and Shane L and Emma

A fantastic experience. Lots to do around the area. The house had everything that you could need and the verandah all the way around was so relaxing. The dogs were a highlight for our kids and are still talked about. Also has plenty of room for our large family which is rare to find. Thank you so much for a wonderful retreat.
