Location. Location. Location. That is what this absolutely gorgeous, completely remodeled studio nestled high above Cruz Bay is all about. You have all the conveniences you need - king bed, sleeper sofa, spacious bath, fully-equipped kitchenette with apartment-sized fridge and a balcony with one of the most impressive views of Cruz Bay and the Caribbean you will ever see. You will find this location perfect, not only for its gorgeous views but because you are off the street far enough that there is no street noise nor bar scene music with absolute privacy. Our studio is on the second floor - actually three stories up because of the garage - of the highest building at Grande Bay Resort. Of course, we have elevators to get you there. You can watch over Cruz Bay, the gorgeous mountains or see nine beautiful island, including St Thomas, from the balcony. Best of all, should your dinner include a few of the islands famous libations, you don't have to get in a car and drive home. You are just steps from your island home.

Grande Bay Resort provides a fantastic swimming pool and pool deck to sunbathe. There is also a very large Jacuzzi. Our gym features the very best equipment for a good workout. Whatever you need, we have it to make your stay special.

Once you book, our management company will contact you and assist you with any needs you have to make your vacation and visit to our island memorable. They can help you provision you studio before your arrival. They greet you at the ferry dock, take you to the studio, answer any questions you may have about St John and are there 24/7 to assist you with any special needs.

St John is unique among Caribbean Islands in that 75% of the island is controlled by the U.S. National Park Service. That means that there are not rows and rows of hotels along our beaches, which is the primary reason our beaches are the best found in the Caribbean. There are as many as 75 little bays where you can snorkel, more than 20 exceptional beaches with wonderful sand, and numerous hiking trails up and down the steep mountains that bring so much beauty to our little island. We have travelled to almost every island in the Caribbean and none are as beautiful or tranquil as St John.

We provide everything to make your stay pleasant. We are stocked with linens and towels in the bath, beach towels, beach chairs and coolers. We also provide FREE wifi and FREE telephone service to the States. If you do not have your own gear, there is also a dive shop right beside the condos that rents gear. Paddleboards and kayaks can also be rented.

If this is your first tip to our island, please let us know and we will send you our recommendations for restaurants and beaches. Our manager will also share recommendations.

While studios at Grande Bay do not have assigned parking spaces, our on-island manager makes every effort to accommodate you with off-street parking. Several car-rental agencies also allow overnight parking as a backup.

And did I mention ROMANCE. This studio is ideal for that little get away that you both need to bring back that spark that our busy lives leave behind. You will find no more romantic place on Earth than St John. Its pristine beaches and gourmet restaurants provide the perfect location for romance, regardless of what honeymoon or special event you are celebrating.

Perfect location. Easy walk into Cruz bay for shipping, food, night life, bars, taxi, ferry. The pool & jacuzzi were so nice after a long day, with the most beautiful view of the bay & sunset. Condo was well decorated, good kitchen, comfy bed, good bathroom, with washer/dryer combo. Staff was friendly, and provided me a parking spot free of charge. Great communication prior to & during by host. Amazing for a quick getaway or weeklong stay. 10/10 will book again.

Everything was as advertised. The condo and entire complex are well maintained. The location is within a short walk of the ferry from Redhook as well as car rental companies and restaurants. The property manager contacted us several times before our stay to make sure we understood the checkin process and to answer any questions. Highly recommend staying here!

My wife and I really enjoyed staying here for 5 nights. First time staying in Cruz bay, we liked not having to rent a car for once. Walked to dinner in town, took safari cabs to the north shore beaches and walked to Honeymoon one day. This property has everything we needed and more. Without a car, having beach chairs with backpack straps provided with the unit was a huge help. Property was very clean, a huge plus for my wife and I. We will be staying here again in the future.

We came to St. John for our honeymoon and we loved our stay in this condo! Everything was very clean and comfortable. The day we arrived the power went out on the island causing our AC and hot water to not work. We communicated this with our property manager and she came herself at 9:30pm to see if she could fix it for us so we didn’t have to wait until the next day. They had an electrician come first thing the next morning AND gave us a $100 gift card for an island steakhouse we planned to go to in order to accommodate this inconvenience. The customer service was excellent and all the staff are very kind. We loved the view from our room and highly recommend staying here! We will definitely be back :)

My wife and I returned to St John celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary. Of the many choices to stay, we’re so happy we decided to stay here! The condo was perfect and we especially loved the relaxing views from the balcony. Great communication, restaurant suggestions and friendly staff at the property. The location of Grande Bay is perfect. You can walk to everything in Cruz Bay. The unit itself was clean and was perfect for my husband and me. There were a few hiccups with our stay but wouldn't deter me from booking again. Our key stopped working a day early and they had to re-activate it and they could only find us parking on the day we were leaving, which was not helpful. Next time I would book a one bedroom that is guaranteed parking.

Close to downtown Cruz Bay, Grande Bay is great from a proximity and comfort point of view. We only were on STJ for three day so didn’t get a vehicle, this unit made our stay much more enjoyable. Would stay again for sure!

Great property with beautiful views and perfect location. The studio was clean and comfortable with everything needed for our vacation, including cooler, beach chairs and towels, (also snorkeling equipment), but we brought our own. Kitchen was well stocked and the table on the balcony was perfect bar height to see over the railing. We will be returning!!

We enjoyed our stay. Unit was clean and conveniently located within walking distance to Cruz Bay restaurants and shops. Property was quiet and our kids enjoyed dips in the pool. An addition of an air fryer or toaster oven would be a nice addition to the kitchenette for those wanting to cook a few meals at home. Thanks again for a great stay!

This is located walking distance to town, but it is a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of the local bars. The unit is spacious and provides a nice laundry option. Bathroom is updated as well as the kitchen, only downside to the kitchen is there is no oven. Overall great place and would return here in the future!

We enjoyed our stay but we were a bit surprised/ disappointed by some of the basic things that needed upkeep. In going back through reviews I noticed some have been mentioned before. One night we couldn’t turn off the ceiling light/fan over the bed without Turing off the breaker in the breaker box. The safe didn’t work. The towel rack fell multiple times and other things just need attention. Furniture has lived its life I believe. No dishwasher was also a surprise.

We’ve never been to the Virgin Islands but wanted to try somewhere new. We’ve always dreamed of going to St John. This unit had great reviews and it didn’t disappoint. A few things could have been better but that wouldn’t change us returning to this unit.

the location of the property was awesome as well as the people who worked at the property. the condo could use a fresh coat of paint, and the rusty towel bar and the hand held shower connector hose were a bit of a turn off. furniture has taken a beating as well. don't want to be to critical because everything else was awesome, just making a note to owners if they want to keep using the term luxury. washer and dryer were a plus as well.

Enjoyed our stay at the property, I gave 4 stars for cleanliness because there was a spot on the sheet, maybe a stain, and sand in the washer, just some minor things. Not trying to be nitpicky, But had to explain why 4 stars for cleanliness. Overall the place was clean. We would definitely choose to stay at Grande Bay Resort again.

This was the perfect place to wake up and have an easy start to the day. The ferry when you arrive is nice and close and all the activities are within a few minute walk. We will definitely be staying here for our next trip!

We extended our stay by a couple of days once the rest of our family left and we moved out of a larger 3 bedroom unit. The studio provided plenty of space and was decorated nicely. Great views from the balcony over looking Cruz Bay! Would definitely stay here again. Great communication with the property managers and they were able to secure a parking spot for us. Thank you for all you did to make our stay special!

Well equipped studio in great location. We appreciated that the studio came with a grill and strap-on chairs that we could take on our hike to the beach. And the snorkeling equipment. Great gym and pool. The iguanas were fun to watch. Staff was very responsive and friendly. Great view from the veranda! With nice table and high chairs.

We had an amazing time at this apartment on Cruz Bay. It was centrally located so we could walk to dinner, hike to beaches and catch boats to go scuba. Could not recommend this place highly enough! Everything you need for a perfect vacation!

We spent a little under a week on St John and loved everything about it. This VRBO was exactly as described and was in a great location in Cruz Bay. The Condo was close to the several bars and restaurants as well as the taxi's that we took to other parts of the island. Bonus was that a cooler and beach chairs were included in the rental. We loved it, it was perfect for our stay, and are already looking forward to our return trip.
