This fabulous, spacious, elegantly decorated and furnished three bedroom condo in the luxurious "Island Vista" resort, famously nicknamed "The Island", has been designed with every attention to detail and enjoys breathtaking direct, unobstructed oceanfront views. The condo has been fully redecorated in 2020 and newly finished with hardwood flooring throughout. The condo benefits from a beautiful high end kitchen with luxury granite counters, white shaker cabinets, full size modern stainless steel appliances and every convenience a cook could want. The condo offers upgraded flat screen TV's wired cable channels and a Roku stick to enable access to guest Netflix, Disney plus Hulu etc accounts.
The master bedroom looks out over the ocean with patio door access to the large balcony overlooking the beach and ocean. The master suite has a king size bed with top quality, pillow-top mattresses and 600 thread-count luxury pure bamboo linens. This bedroom has a built-in closet, comfortable armchair, a luggage rack and chest of drawers with a 48'" flat screen LED HDTV with internet capable blu-ray player. The master en-suite bathroom is fully tiled with a luxurious jetted tub, a separate double sized power shower, vanity with granite counter and 2 basins, and WC. There is a built-in hairdryer and all our bathrooms are supplied with an abundance of extra thick and fluffy luxury towels. The second bedroom suite also offers a plush split king size bed (which can be converted to two singles for those who prefer it) complete with luxury pillowtop mattresses and luxury 600 thread count bamboo linens, a built in closet, chest of drawers, elegant armchair, luggage rack and a 46" flat screen LED HDTV with internet capable blu-ray player. The second en-suite bathroom is also fully tiled and has a tub/shower combination, built-in hairdryer, vanity unit with granite counter all supplied with top quality luxury extra thick and fluffy towels and a WC. The third bedroom has 2 full/queen size beds with luxury mattresses, fine luxury bamboo linens, built in closet, chest of drawers, luggage rack, 42" LED HDTV, again with internet capable blu-ray player. The third bathroom is also fully tiled with a shower/tub combination, vanity with granite counter, built-in hairdryer, luxury extra thick and fluffy towels, and a WC. The unit is fully equipped with a full size washer and dryer for laundry convenience.
The large, spacious kitchen is fully stocked with every convenience a cook would want. There are white Shaker cabinets, solid granite counter-tops for that chic and luxurious feel, Mr Coffee coffee maker, toaster, kettle, all utensils, crockery and flatware, and full size stainless steel appliances. The kitchen also enjoys a fabulous ocean view, and provides seating for 2 more guests at the granite breakfast bar. The main living/dining area is extremely spacious and luxuriously furnished with a queen sleeper/sofa with an extra thick memory foam and gel foam super comfy mattress, 2 armchairs, a coffee table and TV consul with 52' flat screen LED HDTV and internet capable blu-ray player, and a 12 seater dining table and chairs. The living room opens to a very large balcony enjoying unadulterated and uninterrupted oceanfront and views and is equipped with a dining table and chairs for outdoor eating, rocking wicker relaxer chairs with coffee tables. The condo is high enough up to avoid the pool noise in summer and enjoy total privacy. This condo is second to none in spacious accommodation, luxury appointments, attention to every detail and is in pristine condition. The resort offers a fabulous, award winning full-service bar and restaurant serving breakfast and dinner right on site and the beachfront spa services (by appointment at reception) and fabulous pools are just amazing. There is also a seasonal Tiki Bar and Pizzeria serving food and beverages all day. There is no better resort to get away from the noise and stay in close proximity to all the attractions without having to listen to everyone else enjoying them while you are trying to relax! We have stayed in several of the condos at the Island Vista Resort. This Condo was by far the cleanest, and most up to date renovated property! I hope we can book here again in the future!

This property was amazing! The condo was as pictured and had all the essentials for a great week at the beach! Check-in and out was seamless and communication with Louise was efficient. The resort was amazing! Their tiki bar, indoor bar, dining area, and indoor and outdoor pools were amazing! My family and I cannot say enough good things and plan to be back for family vacation next year! Highly recommend!!

We stayed here for a dance competition. 2 adults, 4 kids. The place was terrific. Just as advertised.
Positives: clean, high floor, direct view of the ocean, brand new patio set on the balcony, easy parking, nice towels, ice maker in freezer, coffee maker could make drip and keurig coffee, the pool was nice, right on the beach, plenty of room to spread out, 10-15 min drive to everything.
Negatives: the dryer would randomly shut off so we had to keep an eye on it, no shampoo/conditioner or body soap was supplied so we had to buy 3 sets for the 3 bathrooms, it was a little dark for us even with the lights turned on.
Most of the other families stayed at the dunes. We definitely chose better. If we ever come back, I would definitely book this location again.

The unit was more beautiful than the pictures! Everything at the location was wonderful. We enjoyed the restaurant, indoor pool, and the view. We had our daughter and her 2 children join us. The grands loved it! Highly recommend this unit. We will be booking again!

We were in the area for a convention and stayed with two other couples. The condo was nice sized, large kitchen and living room and the bedrooms were all nice. The area was quiet and clean. Around the pool area could use a cleaning but it’s the end of the season and I’m sure they’re about to close for the winter. My only and biggest complaint about the actual condo was the balcony. It was much smaller than the photos looked and the furniture was in terrible condition. The chairs were broken, the table rusted and garbage (broken chairs, cardboard boxes) were stacked in one corner. They had left fold out chairs to use in place of the broken patio chairs. None of them were comfortable. I did notify the owner and she said if they weren’t serviceable they could send someone out with more. I didn’t feel it was necessary as they were “serviceable” for the remainder of our stay, 3 nights. I do think for the price those are the little things that make a rental property truly nice. We enjoy our time on the balcony and couldn’t spend much time because the situation with the chairs. Overall the place was nice. The inside was clean, with plenty of dishes to cook. I would stay again if they remedied the balcony furniture.

The condo was very clean and high-end. The kitchen had all of the appliances you would need. The beds were comfortable. The communication with the contact was easy, and she was very responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Great Condo!! Very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable! Slept better than my new bed at home. The resorts pools, restaurant and staff were also great. There were singers performing outside by the pools/outdoor bar that was nice when we hung out at the pool. Resort is located between some personal residences so the beach is not as crowded as the beaches in front of multiple hotels side by side.
Host responded quickly to any questions we had and was always very nice.
My only minor complaint is that some of the legs on the metal chairs, around the table on the balcony, had rusted from the salt air so you could not sit on them. Still gave 5 stars since everything else was great.

We have a great stay for my wife’s birthday. The place easily accommodated five adults with room to spare. Beautiful view from the balcony. Walk out to the beach. The pools on campus were nice. Chair rentals for the beach are pricey and ran by an independent company. Be prepared for that or bring your own. The hotel staff could have been more helpful. Apparently rentals through VRBO are treated differently than the hotel guests. Anyway great place.

Relaxing and Breathtaking
Amazing view from the balcony of the beach and ocean on the 12th floor. The Island Vista Resort had everything a family would need and enjoy and not too far from the Boardwalk. I will stay here again and recommend this resort especially if you have little ones age 3-17.

A perfect vacation location
We loved this property had hope to go there again! It is on a pretty private area of the beach, it is EXTREMELY close to the water, it is a short drive from everything in Myrtle Beach, and the place is first class, upgraded, immaculate! It has lots of room, very clean, and as I mentioned, you can have your toes in the water in 2 minutes from your door! Can't say enough good things! Perfect!

Very Nice With All the Amenities You could Ask For
My family of 5, in addition to my parents, stayed here for 5 nights. We had enough room to spread out and we all enjoyed the view from the balcony. Luckily saw some dolphins swimming one morning. So nice to have multiple pools for the kids, hot tubs, and the beach all right there. Many restaurants and things to do nearby. We made some great memories!

This place was perfect. Not to big and over run. Plenty of space to sit and relax. Pool area was beautiful and the few from the condo was awesome. I would absolutely stay here again.

Poor Communication
The location was great for anyone who wants to attend CCMF. It was a short cab ride to the festival and lots of restaurants and stores were in walking distance.
The host, Louise, was easy to communicate with UNTIL I finished paying (which is 30 days in advance of my stay). After that, she went dark. I had specific questions about the coffee maker (which did not work) and the number of beach chairs available. Some members of my group were flying in and would not be able to bring a beach chair.
There were 2 old, barely usable beach chairs in a condo that sleeps 11. That is completely unacceptable!!!! It cost $45 a day to rent 2 chairs and an umbrella on the beach - they are NOT complimentary as it states in the condo "Information" binder.
The chairs on the balcony were rusted, uneven, saggy..... again in need of replacement. The master bed also sags in the middle dramatically!!!! The closets were full of "stuff" and left no room for a guest to hang anything. 3 closets were locked (probably the owners' belongings) which also impeded on space. In the guest bedroom, the closet was blocked by a bed and off the tracks!!!!
Many of these issues could have been resolved via communication with the host. It was unfortunate that once money was handed over....communication stopped..

Six college friends reconnected for a long weekend at this beautiful property. The condo was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. There was plenty of space to relax. The pool was wonderful and the staff was friendly. I would highly recommend this property. We will stay there again !
