Beautiful and great getaway

Great place to stay. Only thing I could say negative was the road into the property was very ruff. They scrapped it the day we left though.
4.7
Very peaceful cabin on the river with amazing huge deck. Could use some updating on the inside and improved wifi, but it was a very relaxing stay.

Great location. Beautiful river. The next part is just what we experienced but would not keep us from renting this cabin again. We really enjoyed our time there. Cabin should have been cleaned better and needs a screen door and rugs replaced. Unexpected smell from the cabin water supply suggests well water. We just weren't expecting that but it was fine. Might add a couple more cooking/baking pans and kitchen items. With the few downsides listed above we had a great stay and would definitely book this cabin again. Sitting on the deck and watching and wading the river made all our troubles drift away. Thank you for having this sweet little place.

We found this place to be an ideal location could not be any better right on the river convenient drive to Dillsboro, Sylva and other towns near by and rafting, canoeing, Great choice of stores, restaurant's breweries. As for the cabin was very clean an loved the back porch, Our only complaint would be that it is quite dated and could use some TLC drapes, bedding furniture, But all and all we had a very nice stay and is doggie friendly,

This is such an incredible location. It was perfect for a week of relaxation.

Exceptional!
Would be nice to have a screen door so we could have listened to the creek while inside but other than that wonderful! Would definately love to stay again while visiting my son at WCU

Cabin is clean and we needed nothing suring our atay. The deck is a lovely location to watch the river and wildlife. The picnic table and extra chairs on the deck make it a very nice stay. The cabins here are close together and there was a group of noisy guests beside us for a couple of days. The management of the property was extremely communicative. Great overall for a short vacation.

Nice property. Very rustic cabin with small kitchenette and small bathroom. The deck was the highlight! Wifi was shared with other cabins and signal wasn't the greatest!

We had a great relaxing weekend. The rain kept us from being able to fish as much as we'd like, but everything else was great

Well stocked everything needed for a 4-day stay. The view and sound of the river are just amazing. The one problem is it's so nice I can't get my husband to want to leave.

The back porch is amazing! Love the views and sounds. Nice getaway!

Hear the flow of the river and you just start relaxing.
Kitchen well supplied.

Great place to get away for a few days and Relax!! Wish we had more time to stay! Futon in the living room is very comfy for sleeping. Only down side was the organization of the pots and pans under the sink. When I got out a plastic container for some leftovers....there was already some old pizza in that one container ...no worries I threw it out! Yuck!

Enjoyed the cabin and having access to the river. I wanted a quiet place to enjoy nature’s sound but there was a cabin next to ours was rented for a kids birthday party and some adults smoked cigarettes so I didn’t care that smell.
4.7
We loved our stay. We rented side by side cabins for a family getaway. We relaxed by the river and fished for trout catching enough for supper. We saw otters swimming and a hawk flying over. The cabins were cozy and inviting ! It was our second time visiting and will not be our last!

This little cabin was super cute. It was clean and smelled nice - meaning no perfumy scents and no bad odors. For someone like me who has issues with scents I was so grateful for that.
We went during bad weather, so did not get to enjoy it to its full potential, but it was still nice and relaxing with the him of the water rushing by. We saw some very brave wildwater kayakers, the ducks, otters, and there was a sweet lonesome duck that hung around the cabin most of the time.
We took our dog, but the listing has now been changed to show no pets. I can see why, their doors had scratches from pets who had clearly been left unattended - this is sad to see, especially for folks who take such great care in maintaining their cabins.
Our one issue was that we wished there would have been a couple extra blankets. The two provided were very thin, sheet like quilts, and my son (who normally sleeps very warm) told me that he was cold all night. So take extra blankets!

Enjoyed my stay

Enjoyed the stay in the cabin. The rushing River was calming and we were minutes away from town and the mountain's which we drove up. Excellent view.

This is the perfect place to get away from the city and relax. Listening to the river just outside the cabin while sitting by the fire is a great way to start or end the day. The cabin is very spacious and clean. This cabin goes about and beyond. I would definitely recommend!

This was our best vacation! The description of the property was in point. The location was perfect, not too far from the city but far enough to only hear the flowing river and the birds. We will definitely be back again with the whole family to experience summer on the river.

Very easy to locate property. Beautiful location on the river in a quiet environment, but close to many attractions. The cabin was great, clean and the owner super easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay here again if we travel that way again.

The place is just as gorgeous as the pictures you see. We will definitely be back.

We loved it. We hope to return again for a longer stay. The cabin was cute and the view was amazing. We were only 2 minutes away from water rafting which we enjoyed immensley. You really can't go wrong with this property.

this was a great place to relax and unwind next to the river, and close to pretty much everything you would want to do. Property was very comfortable, and we would definitely recommend to others and we would certainly stay here again on future trips.

Relaxing!
I hardly ever left the deck. Just me, my Bible and the gentle sounds of the river. My stay at the cabin is now one of my most cherished memories and I plan to make more, right there.

Ive rented from Tavish and Jason before. Theyre extremely accommodating, and I love the cabins. Ill be back every year. The Tuk is a special place, and the cab back are only about twenty miles from Nantahala Outdoor Center. In fact, NOC puts rafts and kayaks in on the Tuk just two miles away.
