About this cabin rental

This cozy cabin, approximately 800 sq. ft. has wood interior throughout. All updates including the windows are centered around the lake view from the home and from the deck. Two bedroom and 1 bath. Large outside shower with its own hot water source, great for just coming off the water to clean up, to enjoy the roominess of an outside shower, and to free up the inside bathroom. Very comfortable for 4 people with the two queen beds, a queen foldout couch in living room sleeps 2 more for a maximum of 6 guests. Walls are insulated inside and out for a peaceful retreat. Cabin is fully furnished with bedding, towels, cookware, plates, silverware, etc. and a propane grill on the 12' X 32' deck for awesome outdoor cooking and dining while enjoying the view. Cabin is easily accessible with all paved roads and is located approximately 15 minutes from Roaring River State Trout Fishing Park, less than 30 minutes to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, just around the bend from Big M Marina (less than 1 mile by boat or land), approximately 10 miles or 15 minutes by land from Eagle Rock Marina (3 miles by water). Big M is a full service Marina including boat rental and slips and don't forget the Dock N Eat on-the-water café (can be accessed by water or land). Come to our cozy cabin on the lake and enjoy all the lake activities and more with all the beautiful surroundings. This is a non-smoking and no pet cabin for the comfort of our guests with a allergies. It's a short walk down the road from the cabin to the lake for a quick dip (by the boat docks, which are private-no trespassing); there is also another swim area. There is a boat ramp and a swimming area in the Big M recreation area, which is a Corp of Engineers park so there is a fee. Boat parking is available on property outside power to recharge boat batteries.

My husband and I stayed here in June 2024 for a long weekend. Google Maps had absolutely no problem finding the place and when we pulled up, I immediately knew we had made the right choice for our stay. The large covered front porch and the large covered back deck were so clean! No cobwebs or creepy crawlies anywhere; which is great because the property is surrounded by lots of nature. Inside was just as clean. You walk in and it smells like fresh cut lumber. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed for our 3-night stay: Coffee maker, dishes, basic cooking pots/pans, microwave, fridge/freezer. The entire back of the house has beautiful views of the lake. The bedrooms both had queen sized beds - we took the room closer to the living space and the bed was super comfy. The bathroom was very clean and well-stocked with extra towels.

My husband and I took our daughter and one of her friends on a weekend getaway to this property. Everything was very clean and the view from the back porch was amazing! Everyone around the neighborhood was very friendly and we were extremely impressed. The girls walked down to the swimming area by the docks and had a great time while we cooked on the back porch and enjoyed the view and serenity surrounding us. Gene and Barb were SO nice and we can’t wait to go back and share this getaway with more of our friends and family. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT THERE!!

Just a great place! Very clean, quiet, peaceful! Slept like a baby. Enjoyed every minute. Definitely will tell others how welcoming, and comfortable the cabin was. We loved this place! Very cute, cozy and comfortable. Gene and Barbara were extremely helpful and very nice. We will definitely be back. I would suggest this place even if you’re riding in Arkansas, want to play on the lake or just relax.

The rental was okay. We have stayed in nicer places but it was clean and had everything you need. There wasn’t but a few channels on the TV and it rained most of our trip so then nothing would come in. Other than that it was okay.

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for five nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. The view was awesome and I loved the compactness of the cabin. There was everything you needed in the kitchen although we didn't cook while there. The weather only allowed us to sit on the deck on one day of our trip but it was a nice sunshiny day. The deck is covered but the air was cold most days. We would certainly go there again as it was the most restful 5 days and nights. Gene and Barbara were very nice.

My husband and I discovered this spot several years ago, and now we use it as home base for all our exploration of NW Arkansas and SW Missouri. Bentonville, Eureka Springs, and Branson are all in easy reach, but it’s also so relaxing to just sit on the back porch and soak in the view of the lake. Gene and Barbara are the best hosts! They live nearby and are easy to contact if you need anything. We’ll definitely be back again!

Needed a getaway from the stresses of life and work and this cabin definitely fit the bill. Gene and Barb were wonderful and made us feel right at home. Cabin was beautiful and the view was amazing. The back porch was the best part and where most of our time was spent. We will definitely be back!

Gene and Barb were great hosts in spite of the fact that they had out of town guests. The cabin was exceptionally clean and neat and had anything you could possibly need along with a view that could rest a weary soul. Just be prepared for no straight roads!

For over ten years Table Rock has been our yearly vacation retreat after Labor Day. Crowds gone, lake is quiet. We travel to different areas of the lake and stay in new cabins / houses each time. This little cabin was great and one of our top two favorites. Nice view of the lake off the deck, cabin was the perfect size for the two of us. Full sized kitchen, two bedrooms outdoor shower. Big M marina just a few minutes down the road to reserve a slip or rent a boat. Quiet neighborhood and wonderful hosts. Look forward to another visit during our post Labor day vacays! great cabin!!

We used the cabin as a mini-reunion between our family from St. Louis with other family from Texas (total of 6- 4 adults and 2 kids- note: the pullout is perfect for kids!). The cabin was charming, comfortable, and the view was gorgeous and calming. More than anything, Gene & Barb were incredible hosts. Ready with suggestions and help, and they went above and beyond when I somehow locked my keys in my running car during checkout! Gene and one of his friends (a volunteer firefighter) worked for 45 minutes to help us gain access to our car (success!). While they did that, Barb helped entertain our two kids and even offered a hug when she saw how upset I was. A great place to stay is wonderful, but finding it combined with such lovely people is rare. We will be back!
