This home was amazing! Suncadia resort area is already wonderful to begin with. But the quality of the home (location, rooms, cleanliness, communication, all the amenities available) made our stay even better! Would love to come back next year if our schedule works out!

The website was old and multiplie problems with the house.

Lovely area and nice house. Had some concerns that were acknowledged by the owner/management company in a timely manner. Overall it was a nice mini vacation but not sure I would return. They really like their rules

The house was roomy enough for our time together. Everyone enjoyed the "play room". There were not as many beds as indicated, but that was not a real problem. A lot of areas need to be updated. The sofas were worn and filled with crumbs. The fireplace did not work. The oven was small and overheated when we tried to cook a roast. Also, one small oven is not much for a gathering.
However, the location is beautiful; and my family enjoyed the time together very much.

A wonderful home that any large group can enjoy!
The home is comfortably secluded and very well furnished.
It is solid and handled our large group very well.
I noticed the carpet is clean and comfortable and is very high quality.
The owner is reponsible, helpful and communicates promptly.
The owner was receptive to ideas I had that would continue to offer his future guests very memorable experiences.
Thank you.
Sincerely, --Henry Dorn and family

Loved the site and beauty of home. Suprised at condition of things in home......pieces of poopoo in bathroom on toilet brush stand ( had to pick up and clean area)...visible glue holding dining room chair rung together, which did not hold rung together....ping pong paddles that are unuseable on both sides. We took pictures to prove most surprises.
Loved our view of pond and nature and family reunion time.

We had a small 40-person wedding at this location and it was a fantastic place to do it! (We didn't sleep 40 people there of course!). The kitchen is large and well stocked, so many people could be working on food prep at once. Between the balcony, the upstairs seating area and downstairs seating area, and the back yard, we had plenty of room for our guests to spread out. Communication with the property manager was kind and helpful throughout the process of preparing for our wedding, and he took all of our requests respectfully. The only weird thing about the place was that you can only access the bathrooms through people's bedrooms (there is no standalone bathroom), which could be awkward for some people. My friends and family are the type that don't care, so it was fine for us. Just know that if you're sleeping the full 22 people as advertised, the folks using the fold out sofas will need to enter someone else's bedroom if they need to access the bathroom at night. Otherwise, it was a beautiful setting, a large, clean house, and there was clear communication throughout the process. Great experience!

It was a quick trip but the stay was wonderful! Great communication from the host.

Cool Property, less bedding than they advertise. Sound travels very easy from upstairs area to downstairs area

Fun weekend in Suncadia with friends! Overall the house is spacious, with plenty of parking, and a large kitchen which was perfect for our group.
The listing claims it sleeps 22 people, but with the available beds and couches it only actually sleeps 16. Thankfully we brought a few air mattresses.
Not fixable but worth noting: All three bathrooms require you to walk through a bedroom to access, which can be problematic.
The labels in the kitchen are inside the cupboards, which makes it difficult to locate items and/or remember where to put them after washing.
Kitchen/dining table is extremely uneven. We had to remove the table cloth to prevent spilling things all weekend.

This property was the best for our big family more than enough room. This house is perfect for bigger groups wanting all hang out together. We enjoyed our weekend

House looks nice outside, but inside was dirty & many things were missing, not working, or in poor condition. Weirdly, all bathrooms are through a bedroom. The info sheet inside abt the property has the wrong contact info for house management company so requests to address issues were unanswered for almost a full day & owner was also very slow to respond through messaging on VRBO. The hot tub was dirty when we arrived on Fri, they sent someone to service it on Sat afternoon and then it took until Sun evening to get warm enough to use it. The people who serviced the tub said the owner had lower power than advised for the hot tub so it heated slowly and then once it was at heat it lost heat immediately upon use. When I finally attempted to use it on Mon before departure it was 98 degrees (it had been 102 degrees 30 minutes before). Essentially the hot tub was non-functioning. There were no hot tub towels. The owner said towels would be delivered, but they weren't. The couches upstairs & downstairs were dirty -- food, garbage, makeup under the cushions. My 6 yr old found pen15 (VRBO won't let me write out the word) confetti and asked me what it was. The tv remotes upstairs and all the Guitar Hero stuff downstairs didn't have batteries (batteries were the 1 thing that was delivered during our stay, though none of the guitar hero stuff seemed to work). 1 of the bunk beds in the bunk room was so squeaky that no one could use it because if they did no one else in the room could sleep. The coffee pot had a broken lid, there were no measuring cups, some of the dishes in the drawers were dirty (+ dead spiders!), & while there were labels in cabinets very little seemed to be where it was supposed to be. There was a single dish towel. None of the three fireplaces works. The house mgt. people let us know that the owner knows the fireplaces don't work, though they're listed as an amenity. The gas stove vent fan doesn't work. The listing talks all about Suncadia amenities and offers 2 spa trips if you book 3 nights. We called the spa and a single trip is $115. When asked about redeeming the offer, the owner informed me he would reimburse for $100 total if we sent him a spa receipt. Part of the reason we booked the house was the advertised inclusion of spa. I asked owner to address spa credit, all the things missing, broken, or dirty, but he did not. I spent too much of my vacation trying to resolve issues. Worst rental house experience I've ever had.

We had a great time staying in Suncadia. It is a perfect location for playing in the snow and being close enough to the ski resort. We had a few problems with the house but we were able to communicate with the manager about them. The roof leaked and the driveway wasn’t cleared of snow and the Wi-Fi didn’t work but overall it was great. The house accommodated us wonderfully.

My family enjoyed our stay except for a few things. The internet would not work, the two fireplaces in the house did not work either. After messaging the owner, we were informed there were parts being ordered. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time. The coffee pot by the refrigerator had a make shift pot that didn’t work to well. The extra coffee pot did not work. There is a skillet that has a broken handle and could be dangerous, it should be replaced.

We had 22 total (10 adults and 12 grandkids) in our family group. The internet listing states it sleeps 22 , but we read enough reviews to take extra air mattresses and sleeping bags to help bunk some of the little ones. There really isn't enough beds to sleep all 22. But we made it work. What didn't work was the wifi internet. That was quickly fixed within a day. The hot tub had just been emptied from the previous renters, and because it is a 110 circuit, it takes 2 days to get up to 100 degrees. So we had one day to use it in our 3 night stay. That was not a major setback, since we paid the extra funds necessary to book one room at the Suncadia Lodge, which gave all of us 2 days access to their pool and hot tubs. Those are awesome, and we used the one night room at Suncadia Lodge) for one couple, which was very nice too. The toaster was missing, but after a call to the maintenance manager, he brought over a new one. There are at least 3 TV's, and when the internet guy fixed the wifi/internet system, he wired the one TV in the main room up via a firestick. The other TV's had no firesticks that worked, which meant that if we had not brought a firestick with us, there was no TV other than in the main room. There is a good collection of DVD's and a DVD player in the family room downstairs. Overall we had a great time, cause we are a close knit family, and didn't mind that two bedrooms shared the same bathroom, which meant that the 8 of us that shared the bunk room, and the family of 5 in the other bedroom adjacent to the same bathroom had to take turns.

Spider Webs and Safety Concerns
Arrived at the property to find the front door unlocked, with no one inside. With only a code to get in the door, we expected it to be secured and safe - not open. Explored the house to find spider webs on the couch downstairs despite the property manager claiming the cleaning crew had spent 4 hours cleaning that day. Didn't smell clean - smelled stale and damp. Nice house - but not as nice as the pictures portray. Tried to communicate with the owner, and they wanted me to track down the management company to resolve it. For a two night stay for our 4 year anniversary - I was not interested in spending the limited time we had together chasing down a management company to ensure the place was cleaned to my satisfaction (which is what the owner had asked of me). We ended up getting a room at the Resort Lodge and never got another word from the owner or management company on a refund of any kind. I even asked for a 50% refund - knowing they could have filled the house with some other poor unsuspecting souls for the weekend, I thought that was fair. But no word and no comms since. I guess if you rent this place know it may have spiders that miraculously build webs on couches in mere hours and that you may not be the only one with the code to the house during your stay. Also if you have trouble, be prepared to spend your vacation tracking down and resolving the issues, cause clearly this group is only interested in the $$ not your actual satisfaction.

Beautiful home with amazing & responsive hosts
The home was much more spacious than the pictures gave off. The bedrooms consist of 4 total bedrooms (1 room w/ 6 bunkbeds, and 3 rooms w/ 1 bed). We had the max of 22 staying at the property and it was spacious enough to sleep everybody comfortably (some had to sleep on sleeping bags on ground/utilize couches around the house). The home was fully equipped with kitchen amenities and whenever we had questions regarding the property, the hosts were extremely quick to respond. Overall a 5/5 experience for my group and I --- I would return here if ever revisiting Suncadia/Cle Elum!

NO REFUNDS! Sleeps 10 only. OK for a summer day gathering
CONS:
* NO REFUNDS! You will never get your deposit back if you need to cancel. No exceptions. Think about that. (you can reschedule if that works for you)
*NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MORE THAN 10 PEOPLE SLEEPING HERE
* BEDS ARE NOT WHAT THEY SAY! Photos don't match reality. There is no room with 2 queen beds. The second primary room downstairs (no photo in the ad) has a second bed like thing in a closet under the stairs that few would sleep in. The room in the photo that shows a couch/bed - that room has only one bed and it's too small for a second bed if there was one. The room with all the bunks is not as it looks. There are 3 sets of bunk beds crowded in one room. Supposedly 8 people can crowd in here. BED BLOCKS THE FIRE EGRESS window. Don't use fold out beds in living rooms if you need to use a bathroom...
* BATHROOMS - the ONLY bathrooms are accessed through a bedroom. If you are sleeping in a living room, then dont try to pee at night. Also, one bathroom is shared by as many as 8 people in the bunk bed room plus 2 plus people in another adjoining bedroom.
LIVING ROOM: Don't expect to sit comfortably here with more than about 6 people. Those two black chairs in the photo are the most uncomfortable I have ever sat on. Luckily they are not in the LR anymore. There are not enough comfy seats in the LR. This could be remedied to make it seat a few more.
DINING ROOM: Seats for 12 at the table. Plus bar & outside.
FIREPLACE: The Living Room Fireplace did not work when we were there. It started up the first night but kept turning off. It wouldn't turn on at all on the second night.
TOWELS: Not enough towels. And hardly any dishtowels. BYO.
PROS:
* Warrick seems nice enough, and was ok to deal with, except for the lack of refund and issues mentioned above. He responded to questions in a timely and courteous manner.
* Great location if you like Suncadia. Many of the houses at Suncadia are really crowded together. This is less crowded and slightly off the beaten path (if there is such a thing at Suncadia)
* It is a nice place, well equipped, lots of kitchen appliances, extra pantry space off the kitchen so you could have a NICE BIG DAYTIME PARTY HERE - especially if you can spill outside in good weather. (Though, there is not much oven space if you are cooking for a crowd)
- lots of space for the kids to play in the garage. Lots of toys.
- it was clean enough. it was ready when we got here. check in was easy.

Not as accurate as summarized. Had issues...
The overall experience was not bad, however there were issues. To get straight to the point, there were 22 of us staying there, and although it was supposed to ''sleep 22", there were people sleeping on couches because there were not enough mattresses. Also, there was a major issue with blankets, not enough blankets to accommodate 22 people. Another BIG issue was the hot tub. If you are going to advertise that you have a hot tub, make you you get a strong enough heater. The heater was so weak, it took three hours for the hot tub to go up 1 degree Fahrenheit. The hot tub never got above 102, and when you get into it to enjoy, the temperature reduced down to 98 within half and hour. The bathroom situations were also very inconvenient. When I messaged the owner, he was prompt to respond, however being far removed he just directed me to the property managers who weren't much help. The fireplace had some issues turning on initially. Also, some of the bunk beds looked really old, like they were bolted together and about to come apart. Advice to the owner, don't skimp and cut costs. Put some money into the property to make this an enjoyable stay for guests. Stronger hot tub heater, more mattresses, more blankets, and newer bunk beds would be a good start. Overall stay was not bad, just these things need to be fixed. Weak hot tub is a nonstarter for most of these winter cabin-like places.

Beautiful scenic property
This property was a wonderful facility that had a great outdoor space. We held a small outdoor wedding for our daughter on these grounds with a beautiful scenic background.

Went for a family vacation. The place was beautiful.
The house is set up where you have to walk through a bedroom to get to a bathroom. , it was that way for upstairs and downstairs.
The kitchen comes with everything you would ever need. . Plenty of room for all 17 of us.
The hot tub was a bit Disappointing for us, the kids would get in during the day and the heat wouldn’t recover 5 hours later when the adults wanted to use it. The outside fireplace was beautiful, and we used the gas fire pit for making s’mores, . That was fun for the kids.
We would go back that’s for sure.

40th birthday
We had a great weekend stay in Jan with 14 of us. Lots to do. House is beautiful, few things we were less then happy with, needs more towels, bath and hot tub towels. Hot tub was broken and would not heat they did check on it 2x but not fixed. Hot tubs at main pool were out of order when we went too so not happy to spend the$ on the pool amenities. Need more linens for the extra sleeping spots, we could not find ANY extra blankets and the driveway was very slick. The house has a great lot, kitchen is very nice and well stocked. Overall I would stay again just make sure these few things were addressed before we went. Suncadia is a nice place to get away for a few days.

Disorganised cold house
Unfortunately, this rental did not live up to its description. Some of the things wrong with it were: Cleaning crew in the house for an hour after check in time of 4. No batteries for remotes. Neither gas fireplace worked. No toaster, can opener, or other kitchen appliances. Thermostat kept resetting and temperature in the house was always cold.

Good weekend getaway house
Pros:
- Lots of amenities like a gas fireplace, hot tub, Xbox games, ping pong table, etc.
- Large kitchen
- Nice outdoor balcony with a view
- 10 minute walking distance to a park
- Sufficient enough bathrooms and bedrooms for a group of 13 people
Cons:
- Cleanliness: a few kitchen items were dirty/ had old food caked on
- There we’re a few fruit flies when we arrived
- Didn’t provide enough paper towels

Could be better
We come to Suncadia multiple times a year. We typically book through the resort. I think I will go back to that. The house could be great, but it is in major need of some attention to detail. It was not clean. The chairs and lamp in the rec room were broken. The carpet was completely filthy. We all were disappointed. The owner was communicative enough. I was charged extra by Suncadia for the pool use, and he refunded me. If I would have known upfront the pool fee was actually for a room at the lodge I would have had someone come and stay in it and make use of it. With some major deep cleaning and upgrading this house has potential. Until then I would not go back.

Wedding dinner
My husband and I had our wedding dinner at this property and it couldn’t have been anymore perfect. Warrick was amazing with communication, he helped us with everything from parking, to seating tomfiguring out the sleeping situation. We had 33 people total over for dinner and 15 people stayed the night. There was tons of room for everyone to sleep and enjoy the night. The pond was also a beautiful location for sunset pictures. I am very thankful for the house and all it had to offer for us!

Great Location and Beautiful view with Needs in Cleaning
The location was centrally located to everything available in Suncadia, with travel times being 5 minutes or less to the pools, restaurants etc. Beautiful view of the golf course with sufficient space between houses. The house was beautiful with great vaulted ceilings and accommodates young kids very well.
Areas for improvement:
There were many fruit flies that surrounded the kitchen. Upon arrival, we could see fruit flies gathering around the trash and kitchen island. We had to put apple cider vinegar out to help trap and kill the fruit flies. Downstairs has long carpet, where it is easy for bugs to hide. There were spiders and earwigs found crawling in the long carpet. We also discovered a dead tree frog in the downstairs area. It’s clear that the person(s) hired to clean were not efficient in what they were doing.
Overall, we were pleased with the house, but think it is imperative for the homeowners to know that the cleanliness has a lot of room for improvement.

Needs updating…
First the positive:
Beautiful, we’ll equipped home and property.
Wonderful view of golf course with pond.
All appliances clean and work as expected.
Lots of games, ping pong game etc..
And the negative:
Overrun with gnats and fruit flies. I asked for bug spray two days in a row, finally management brought two paper cups with a mixture of vinegar and dish soap which was not at all effective.
Carpets are very dirty and need to be replaced,
One bedroom was suppose to have two queen beds, which we had planned to use. It only had one.
No extra linens or extra blankets for futons etc...
Three bathrooms but all were accessible only through a bedroom. Awkward at times…
No access to Suncadia activities as promised

Fun Getaway for a group of guys.
I rent this property every year to meet up with friends that live around the northwest and it always accommodates us very well. The weather is always great in August and the Air Conditioning in the house keeps up well. Suncadia is a beautiful place and perfect for your friends that play golf. For the friends that don’t, there is plenty to explore with the rivers, lakes or small towns. We keep coming back!

Good Family Reunion Spot
First off, let me say we enjoyed this home very much. I don't mean for the following to be criticism, but rather hope it will help clarify things for others considering this home (which I recommend). I would have given five stars all across the board except for a couple of issues. First off, it is a great spot. The home is large and a fun place to stay with kids of varying ages. The nearby park was great ! But, a couple of issues follow. We had easy and timely communication with the host, until the last 24 hours. We were almost to the house and still had not received the code to enter. This caused me some concern (I do tend to be a worrier). I was told I would get the code a day or two before arrival, and got it about an hour before. Too close for comfort for me. Otherwise, the host was great. Then, a bigger problem was the sleeping. We had rented the house as it indicated it could accommodate our group of 22. This required some to put mattresses on the floor (extras were available) or other spots such as couches etc. The only problem with that is that there was no extra bedding for any alternative sleeping spots. Also, the futon and pull out couch were very uncomfortable. There is comfortable sleeping for about 15, not 22. Luckily we brought sleeping bags, but if we had not it would have been a very big problem. Wish we had been warned or wish there had been extra bedding. The last thing was the location of bathrooms. The bathrooms were nice, and there were three of them, but each one could only be accessed through a bedroom. This can be pretty awkward. But since it was all family, it worked. But, the kitchen was large and well equipped, the deck was nice, those that got beds were comfortable, ping pong was a hit. All in all everyone said it was a great space. We would come again, but maybe with a slightly smaller group.
