We envite you to enjoy your own private oasis by the beach. Cozy Studio with ideal location, quiet residential neighborhood. Beach and surfing just 2 1/2 blocks away. Restaurants, Bars, Coffee Shops, within walking distance. Full kitchen. Private entrance and lovely fenced patio area in back, surrounded by bamboo, jasmine and honeysuckle. Biking distance to downtown LaJolla and Mission Bay. Well behaved pets are welcome. There is no extra pet fee. Parking for 2 cars in driveway under canopy. Everything you need to enjoy the beach life provided; two bikes, beach chairs, towels, and boogie boards. Chips, Salsa and ingredients for 2 welcome margaritas in your room on arrival.

Tourmaline Beach Studio has everything you need for your stay: a kitchen, BBQ, bikes, surf and boards, and much more. We enjoyed our stay and loved the walkable distance to Pacific Beach, restaurants and coffee stores. Thank you, Alisa.

We had 24 hours in San Diego and this property was perfect. Being close to the ocean and having off street parking is such a win. The beach studio is so cute, margaritas and chips with salsa was an added bonus. The bed was very comfortable and the shower, seriously it is amazing. Communication with the host was top notch. I’m looking forward to our next visit and hopefully staying here.

I have now stayed here two times times! I really enjoyed both of my great vacations here! Alisa is a very responsive host and the check in is so easy! It's a very short walk to Tourmaline Beach and lots of fun to watch all the surfers there! My little dog Cooper had a great time too! Thanks for everything, Alisa!

This place was exactly as advertised. Very close to beach, restaurants, shops and bars. We rode the bikes that are provided to the beach which is no more than a 5 minute ride. Kitchen area and BBQ on patio make for an option to do all meals in if you choose. We will definitely be back. We loved the place and loved the location!

The location was beyond AMAZING! 2 blocks away from beach access. Easy check in & check out! Owners were friendly, amazing and made sure we were okay and settled in. Went out of their way for sure! And cannot go wrong with MARGARITAS & Chips/salsa upon check in. Cozy studio that was pet friendly.

The stay was as wonderful as always. Alisa is so responsive which makes it so nice. The place was so clean and has everything you need. The outdoor shower is a fun addition. We all enjoyed that. Being able to walk to the beach and having the parking space right in front of the cottage makes it all worth it! This is my second summer back and not my last! I’ll be booking it again for next summer!

The short walk to the beach and close proximity to everything else SD has to offer made this cute spot the perfect home base for our vacation. Bikes and boards were super fun and chips/salsa/margaritas at check in were a thoughtful and generous touch! BBQ was clean and we used it to make dinner one night in the quaint backyard.

The studio was clean, stocked, and well suited for our quick trip to the beach with two toddlers. Great location with a quick walk to restaurants/cafes and the beach. We especially enjoyed the back patio.

This was by far the best lodging on our road trip. It was like a home away from home. And with pacific beach two blocks away made it even better. If they would rent to me on a monthly basis I'd move there ASAP. Location location location

The location is awesome, very walkable to restaurants, coffee and beaches. We spent a little more time inside than we anticipated due to weather but even though the space is small it’s functional. The outdoor space in the back is quite tranquil and the outdoor shower was perfect to rinse the dogs off after the beach. The host was very kind and easy to get in contact with. Check in/out were simple and since we were given the driveway to park in there was never a battle to find a spot. My only criticism would be that the entry is with a physical key which was one more thing to keep track of but that’s mostly personal preference. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved the Margaritas and chips that awaited us on arrival. Nice neighborhood. We loved the showers. Nicely equipped kitchen. With the sofa bed out, it was a bit of a squeeze to get into the bathroom especially for older folks during the night. Alisa was extremely responsive to questions and very accommodating. I left my shoes there. She found them and made it ready to come back for them.

Couldn't be a better location. Fast walk to the beach. Close to hiking in the area. Outdoor shower a plus. Owner provided a surf board. I cannot say enough good things about this studio.

I loved this little place. The studio is well furnished with a wonderful outdoor space in the back. The kitchenette gives flexibility for light meals, snacks, and coffee in house. The host communicated well, provided information and recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. This is walking distance to the beach and a few local eateries. I would stay again when in the area!

We needed a place for a nice and relaxing rest for one night and this place was just that. We enjoyed the welcome margaritas in the quaint backyard upon arrival. It felt private which we appreciated. There were decent restaurants and coffee shops walking distance and the beach was a quick easy walk as well. Thanks for a nice stay!

The place was clean and in a great neighborhood! Super close to the beach and cute restaurants nearby! We enjoyed the margaritas and chips and salsa that the host left for us! They knew we were bringing our two kids and they left a couple of juices for them in the fridge, such a nice thought, it's the little things.... Thank you again!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. We spent a lot of time in the private courtyard when we weren't at the beach or exploring many of the other great things to do near the rental. Parking was convenient, and there are lots of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay in this quaint, safe, quiet bungalow. Very clean, and has a very Zen feel. I wish we would had made our reservation longer. Bed was comfortable, kitchen nicely stocked, and unique touches through out. We will stay here again on our next San Diego visit.

Had a great time. Short walk to the beach and tons of restaurants etc. Nice, quiet, neighborhood, easy parking. Everything we needed was there. Loved the private backyard and enjoyed the nice shower and feel of the place. We appreciated the treats that were left out and although we didn't take advantage of them, the dvds, TV, and the well-stocked kitchen. Wish we had time to use the bikes. We would def. book again if in the area.

The property was a perfect get-away. Loved being able to walk to restaurants. I didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor shower but the indoor wood shower was great and gave a spa-like feeling. The backyard felt like an oasis. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

My husband and I loved our quick trip through San Diego and this was the perfect spot! Cozy and quaint! Bed was super comfy and the patio was nice & private. Has a free parking space and literally minutes to the ocean, we will definitely be back :)

Canopy-covered parking is your designated parking space. You don't need to worry about finding a parking space. Your doggy has a fenced backyard to explore. The grounds appear to be landscaped by a master landscaper. As I walked the property, I was impressed with the canopies of lush flowering vines. You can smell the honeysuckle. One could imagine, that one could catch a glimpse of a fairy or elven folk. Truly a magical place, to recharge your mind and spirit. Located near a world-famous surfer's beach where many past and present greats have surfed. There are restaurants located within walking distance. A safe neighborhood. These are just some of the reasons that this property is our number 1 choice when visiting San Diego.

Great location for walking. Loved that we could have our dog here & there’s a little patio for him! You get a parking spot which is so nice. The owners were great & very accommodating. We actually went to another rental close to petco park after this & wished we would’ve stayed at this place instead! Would def come back :)

We loved our little studio. Perfect for the 2 of us with everything we needed to cook some of own meals. The location is amazing; close to the beach and not far from all the places we visited in San Diego and Legoland. Walking distance to good restaurants too. Thank you for a great week.

We had the pleasure of staying at this cute cottage for 9 nights. Alisa was nothing but accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. This is a quick 5 minute walk to the beach, which is great for our two fur babies, it’s close to many restaurants, grocery stores, the laundromat, and many, many more conveniences. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and made our stay wonderful. We have already booked the cottage for our annual trip from Colorado to San Diego for 2024. Cannot go wrong staying here! We needed a quick getaway and this was perfect. The suite is adorable and has everything you need, The hosts were very warm and welcoming and my boyfriend and I couldn't have been more pleased with the neighborhood. It was walkable and I highly recommend the Fig Tree Cafe.
