From the moment you walk in you know your going to enjoy your stay. The house is not only beautiful, but much larger than the pictures show. There are many areas to relax in, visit with others and just get "away".The pool area equipped with bar was a great hang out for our family of 8 adults and three children. Bedrooms are large and beds are super comfy in all rooms.
Laurie is great to work with and it is obvious she takes great pride in assuring each guest is comfortable. Would definately stay here again

Can't say enough good things about this house! It truly has everything you would ever need. Beautiful coastal chic decor, bedrooms and space for multiple families. Our teenagers took over the cabana studio and all slept together up in the loft. We enjoyed every outdoor space available including the gorgeous, heated pool and jacuzzi. The garage had bikes, chairs, rafts, games, anything you could need on a beach vacation. We also enjoyed many of the nearby restaurants in So. Oceanside as well as up by the pier. Laurie was awesome in her communication! ITS A 10!!

This was the perfect house for our family reunion. There was plenty of space and lots to do for our three generations. We loved the pool and hot tub—and what a nice touch that the host made pool toys, board games, and bicycles available to us. The house is gorgeous, clean, and well stocked. A wonderful 4 days with family. Room for everyone, swimming, hot tub, croquet, outside grilling, sonos music through out. Wonderful master bedroom where the sound of the ocean puts you to sleep at night. Close to the beach and Oceanside eateries. Laurie is an incredible host. Accommodating in every way. This house has everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen and lots of items for fun (bikes, beach equipment and toys for the pool.) The heated pool was a plus. Our family had a great time and felt very comfortable. We hope to visit this property again maybe in the summertime.

This has been by far the most smoothest VRBO we have been in. Also this property is perfect in every way. The house was clean and very functional. The kids had an amazing time in the heated pool. The house was beautiful. There were 12 of us and accommodations were perfect. Plenty of linens, kitchen was fully equipped, outside space was amazing for relaxing, playing games and watching sunsets. Our family of 6 adults and 4 young children really enjoyed our get together at the mermaid house. The home is spacious and well maintained and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could ask for. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. It is in a lovely part of Oceanside with a quick drive to the sandy beach at the pier. We all enjoyed the pool and our 4 year old granddaughter actually learned to swim there. Laurie was great to work with and answered all inquiries promptly. We made lots of memories and are grateful for our time at the mermaid house.

This beautiful house fits our growing family perfectly. We have younger children, teens & adults and the set up couldn’t be better. It’s stocked with anything you need from spices to sunscreen. This beautiful property is even better in person than it looks in the photos. Sparkling clean, with tons of gorgeous natural light, ocean views, multiple outdoor and indoor sitting areas, comfy and quiet bedrooms, and a stunning kitchen that has everything you could ever need. Our group of 7 adults was comfortable and never crowded. The pool and jacuzzi are divine. You are one block from the ocean, and conveniently located near great restaurants.

This place is specifically curated for comfort and fun. We were there to celebrate our grandmother who once lived in Oceanside and this place let us enjoy the area and each other perfectly. Lots of games, activities, space, hangout areas (inside and out). Awesome views from the many decks and patios. And the hostess was extremely receptive and helpful. We had a great time at this property. There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and the house had everything we needed. The only thing I would change is the bunk beds for kiddos are in a separate house (they ended up sleeping in the larger beds with us). We weren't comfortable with them being that far away from us, but if you had teens it would be fine.

Where do I start? From the minute I inquired about the property, Laurie, the host, was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful in every way. When we got there, she met me and showed me around the great spaces in the house and even had snacks there for us. The home is well stocked with everything for cooking in or door dash is a quick delivery option. The house itself is GORGEOUS, in a fantastic location with the sound of ocean waves crashing right outside, clean, super comfortable all while being luxurious! Our group loved the garage full of bikes, pool floats and ocean toys. There wasn't one thing we felt wasn't well thought out and provided at the house. The home is great and Laurie is an excellent host! The pool and hot tub were so fun. I loved having all the spaces for family members. My older sister and her family stayed in the cabana and my younger sister stayed in the bunk house. The home was big enough for us to all come together during the day and stay separate at night which is so nice with 2 young toddlers. The home is loaded with beach toys available for use. We only planned on 1 beach day and ended up doing 3. It was so easy to load up and go. Thanks Laurie, we had a great time!

We are a group of 10, six adults four children ranging in age from the 70s to 8. This property is perfect for everyone, lots and lots of room, gorgeous pool, amazing amenities. Our joke was there was nothing that was not in this house… Sunscreen, amazing kitchen with every possible kitchen device, great sleeping spaces with lots of balconies. You can watch the sunset from the balcony, you can surf in some of the best waves in Southern California, just a short drive away. Cannot recommend this property highly enough! The owner is also very close by, extraordinarily responsive and very nice. She knows a lot about the area, and was always there if we had questions about the house or property.

A Fantastic Family Reunion
The Main House is outstanding with views of the ocean and sunset from the top floor and a large master suite and two Jack n Jill bedrooms. On the main floor is a additional bedroom, very large stocked kitchen, pantry,dining room,and two large sitting rooms with fireplace and bathroom and laundry room. All of these rooms are very open and have access to the pool and the side yard for outdoor events. The pool house is a like a small apartment in which my son and family stayed with their dog. The garage and attached bunkhouse was equipped with every possibile thing you could think of while at the beach. Laurie was the most wonderful and helpful person during the last year and half of planning this reunion and God willing I will be back in the future.

The pictures don’t do this house justice! It’s big and beautiful! Plus it came equipped with so many things…games, baby equipment, pool toys, etc. This beach home had everything we needed and then some. We wanted a house big enough for our 3 families close to the beach and with a pool/spa. Laurie was available pre, during and post stay to answer any questions and assist in any way. Plus it was my dad’s 80th birthday and she made the sweetest welcome basket with a such a sincere card. We plan to rent this house every year!
