This VRBO is peaceful, quiet, and very comfortable. Everything was as advertised and the space is better than the pictures.

Great little house close to beautiful hiking in national and state parks, perfect for the two of us. Loved the hot tub, kitchen had everything we needed. A bit depending on winds (I think) some traffic noise from nearby highways but the views of the mountains are so beautiful that it’s easy to tune those out and feel you’re far away from everything.

We had a great week here. Jan is a very responsive and excellent host who has thought of everything you need to be comfortable. The hot tub in the moonlight was fabulous and sitting on the patio in a bathrobe drinking your morning coffee in the sunshine was too. The only caution I would have is that the bathroom would be pretty tight for a very large person but for us it was fine.

I think the best that can be said after a stay at a VRBO property is that you would choose to stay there again. I would definitely stay here again. Great spot. Well out of the city proper. Clean. Comfortable bed. Easy communication with owners.

What a lovely casita! Stunning views, extremely private, lovely outdoor spa and several wonderful patios, well-appointed interior, comfy bed, each room decorated in southwestern theme, and all 5 min. from a full market and other amenities. It was perfect both after an active day exploring the Tucson area, and also on a rainy day, just enjoying a cozy retreat and relaxing. Jan was the perfect, helpful host. We were there 5 nights and loved it! Highly recommended.

This place was perfect for our week in Tucson! Had everything we needed, especially the hot tub after all the biking and hiking. It was just secluded enough to feel like you were all alone but still close to the highway and grocery store for when it was time to resupply or tour around. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a charming Sonoran desert casita on a beautiful piece of land. It's very comfortable and quiet. There are patios on 3 sides of the house that are perfect for enjoying the outdoors. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. The host is very friendly and helpful. When I return to Tucson, I'll definitely stay here!

Quant ranch house in the desert. Very private with gorgeous desert vegetation. Great for a long weekend. It was very convenient to the wedding we attended at the Ritz Carlton. .

We had a wonderful retreat for a week in Vaquera. The house is comfortable, spotless, and quiet. The main living area and patio look directly onto Mount Lemmon. Sunrises are beautiful. Easy access to Catalina and Picacho Peak State Parks and Tortolita Mountain Park. Fry's groceries is nearby. Jan is a gracious and responsive hostess. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay in Tucson.

Lovely, Private & Peaceful!
We could not have asked for a more perfect stay for our first trip to Tucson. The cottage is so comfortable & our hosts were wonderfully friendly & responsive. Sitting out on both patios with the beautiful desert landscape all around us was such a pleasure, we didn't want to leave. Thank you, we hope to return!

Great spot for two!
Great place! Easy to find. Very clean. Perfect size for my husband and me. Beautiful view of the Catalinas from the lovely outdoor space. It would have been nice to have a couple of more large towels as it was unseasonably chilly and we used the hot tub several times. Other than that it was perfect!

Perfect Arizona getaway
The property is great and had everything we needed to relax. We spent four days here and barely left. It’s a perfect indoor outdoor space.

Best dessert hideaway around!
This cute little one bedroom house was the perfect getaway for my husband and I to celebrate his 40th birthday. We were here Wednesday-Sunday and it was great! We did a long hike on a different trail every morning (about 40 minutes to the big trails but that’s average around here—traffic moves quickly) and a museum in the afternoon and then came home to make dinner in the fully stocked kitchen (and grill) and soaked in the hot tub to cap off our night. We had everything we needed and Jan even left us cookies and wine at check in. The grocery store is only 5 minutes away too. Jan was easy to communicate and work with and I would definitely stay here again if we come back to Tucson.

Great place to escape the city
We used this property for a long weekend getaway from the city and it could not have been more perfect. We loved everything about this place. It was quiet and private but still close to everything you'd need (grocery stores, dining, gas, etc.) Jan has thought of everything you'd need. Jan was also very quick to respond and was wonderful! Seriously cannot say enough good things about Jan and her rental. I've never had a property owner ask about additional things that could be offered as activities for the stay. I talked to Jan for about 20 minutes just tossing around some ideas. She is wonderful to work with and we will definitely be back! Thank you, Jan!

A relaxing desert retreat outside Tuscon
The ambiance of this cottage is pure charm. We felt immediately calmed by the Arizona decor, the quiet of the surrounding saguaros, mesquites and palo verdes, and the unobstructed view of the eastern mountain range. The furniture inside and out was comfortable and adequate. There was a dozen chocolate chip cookies and a bottle of wine greeting us when we first walked in along with an information sheet about appliances and features unique to the property. Jan, the owner, was responsive to our questions and accommodating with our needs offering superb hospitality. Our recommendation for others to use this property is without reservation.

I found more than I expected.
This rental is honestly represented in the photo’s and the privacy is understated.
The nicest unexpected bonus was the Wonderful robes.
Coffee on the Patio in a Very nice Bath Robe, (I wish every morning could start like this)
We will see you again, thanks for having us.

Serenity
It is like being in a tree house in the desert. We really enjoyed our time in Tuscon but what made it special was coming here to reflecting the day in peace and quiet . The table outside is a perfect place to dine with just the right amount of lighting. Plenty of restaurants near by but if you want there is also a great grill to just throw a couple of steaks on a potato in the oven an bottle of red wine heaven!!!!!!

Excellent Small House
This is a beautiful small one-bedroom home that really is completely private. Thoroughly and thoughtfully remodeled, this house has a great patio area with unobstructed views of the mountains. And although remote feeling, this house is located close to a grocery store and other conveniences. If you’re looking for privacy and a small house with big character, this is a very good choice.

Fabulous views, privacy, and spacious accomodations
We had a great stay at this private, very comfortable home. Numerous patios to follow or retreat from the sun, modern kitchen and bathroom, fireplaces inside and out. The views and privacy are what drew us to the place and we were not disappointed. Hope we have the chance to visit again.

The cutest place!
This is really a nice place. We were going to stay at the Ritz Carlton but decided to try something different and were so glad we did. Beautiful mountain and desert views. Very nicely equipped. Owners are very accommodating. We'll certainly be back.
