Terrific house for our extended family. Great common spaces and nice tuck-away options

We never got to stay here. We had a big family group fly in from the east coast to surprise my partner for his 50th bday. We drove to the locate and were a little less than 2hrs from checkin time, so we went to a restaurant to eat and hangout. While there i recieved an email from the company saying that our house was uninhabitable due to possible power outages. I wasnt able to get anyone on the phone so i started texting the number I got all my checkin information from that morning. While waiting we drove over to the house since we were in town. The company text me to confirm that the house was uninhabitable and they were canceling our whole reservation. We drove to the house and there was electricity and the lights were on. There were no foot prints in the snow around the house at all showing anyone was there. When i told them this they, the response was a possible wind storm was coming in that night so the power could go out. They again said my reservation was canceled. With all the family and a car full of food for our stay we had to drive all the way back to our house.
I call the company that monday of what would have been our checkout day to discuss my refund. After talking with multiple people and being on the phone all day. They refused to provide any type of refund at all. They got a few thousand dollars for me and were out nothing themselves. I have informed all of my friends and family to never rent from this company. They do not care about their customers at all.

Love how open the first floor is, made it great for playing games and socializing for the whole group! Rooms were great, used the master for all the kids to have a giant sleepover!

Excellent house. Dog friendly, baby friendly. Spacious for large groups. Extremely clean. Best stocked rental I’ve ever stayed. Tons of kitchen items, soaps, towels, even condiments. Comfortable beds. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house, lots of room and bedrooms with comfortable beds.

The location was great and there were so many kitchen appliances except the ONE we needed…a coffee maker! It was listed as an amenity but it was nowhere to be found. There were a lot of dishes in the kitchen that were not clean and the dish towels had a weird stale smell. There were two large bags of laundry in the entryway with a note from the house keeper saying they would pick them up as well as the garbage - this did not happen. The trash compactor was full when we got there and the trash right outside the door was full and smelled terrible. If it wasn’t for the cleanliness the house would have been perfect. But when you’re paying this much for a house, you expect at the very least, it’s clean when you get there.

I loved the house. The rooms. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was full of everything needed to cook. They had lots of pots, pans, all utensils, knives, strainers, microwave, rice cooker, a griddle for breakfast. Plenty of extra blankets for winter. Even the living room was cozy. Dining table was perfect size. The only issue I had was checking in. I was given a 4 digit code. But it did not work. The door would not open. And then we had to call Vacasa customer service which took around 30 mins to finally get checked in. They gave us a code for a master lock. We ended up having to use physical keys. The parking area was not bad at all. It was all great.

Great house, tons of room and beds, great location, easy access to Government Camp food and more. Great home base for skiing! Only negative, if it's snowing, it is close to the roads (hwy 26 and GC Loop) and snow removal equipment uses the adjacent lot all throughout the night for snow removal.

Great place to stay with big family! The reasons I’m not giving 5 stars is:
1) Beds are small for couples and uncomfortable mattresses.
2) WiFi didn’t work during our stay.
3) Being pet friendly, we found a lot a fur all over the place.
Other than that, it’s a great place!!

We've never stayed in the Loop before where bars and restaurants are within walking distance so that was nice. The house is comfortable, clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. The bedding is high quality and beds are really comfortable. I appreciate in the shared bedroom it had 2 queens and a bunk with a full on the bottom instead of packing it with twins. Not everyone renting is a couple or a child so a few full size beds are great. Our group will definitely book this again.

I loved the cabin! It had everything you could need for a comfy stay. But, I loved the town even more! Beautiful view of Mount Hood from the coffee shop, walkable, and close to lots of trailheads for hiking and even more stunning views of Mount Hood. Definitely would love to come back and stay again!

The house was a wonderful size for our family of 7. Definitely enough beds for many people! Very well stocked! Super nice house!
We will stay here again when we return! We Definitely recommend this home to anyone who wants a nice place to stay, very quiet and close to Mt Hood. We hiked the Mountain right from our door! Wonderful! Thanks again!

The Evergreen house was perfectly set up for our three families to get away for a longer ski weekend. It was very comfortable and all of the amenities that we needed, and was within walking distance to Gavy Camp or the shuttle up to timberline or the sledding hill at Skibowl.
We would definitely go back again.

Great Family Reunion House
5 Bedrooms, one of which is a great bunkroom for the kids....Well appointed/large kitchen...Big dining room table for meals and evening games....WiFi was not good and no TV reception, but Blu-Ray player worked for movies....
We booked it again for next year....so that's the best "thumbs-up" I can give!

Great Trip!
Second time staying at this house. Perfect for a large family/gathering of friends. House comes stocked with everything you could imagine (i.e., cooking supplies, games, sleds, roku, ect). Will not dissapoint if you elect to stay here.

Fun white christmas
We had a large family gathering here for Christmas. The cabin was exceptionally well stocked and the size of the cabin was perfect for our large group. The location was perfect too. The only downside was that the parking area was down a steep hill and with all the snow you couldn’t park more than one vehicle near the cabin.

Great house for large group
We needed space as we had 11 people in the extended family + 2 large dogs, and this house was great. There's even a basement bunk area that one young adult chose as her own domain. Kitchen is very well-equipped with utensils and gadgets. Easy walk into Government Camp. The driveway is tricky in the snow; we left our cars on the street.

Great place
We fit five couples in this house comfortably plus two dogs. The kitchen was well stocked. The only thing we seemed to run out of was towels for the kitchen. Otherwise, the home was beautiful and we all agreed we would come back.

Perfect home for gathering!
We used this home as a central location for our scattered family to meet up at. It was perfect. We really enjoyed the space, the location and the home itself. Everything was WELL stocked and the supplies and gadgets went above and beyond our expectations. We would stay here again.

Worked great for our group of guys.
Large home with lots of bedrooms and individual beds. Our group of 8 was cut to 6 at the last minute due to health issues, but it would have worked well for all 8 if everyone would have made it.

Great spot with plenty of space in Government Camp
Perfectly appointed with plenty of space to hang out and relax. House has everything you could want. Perfect spot. Only downside is some Hwy 26 noise, but didn’t bother us. Walk to everywhere in Gov’t Camp

Family get together fun!
Was a great location and very comfortable large home. Kitchen was very well equipped. We all had issues with the strength of the wifi. Also, we happened to be there during a very hot couple of days. (Thanks a lot global climate change!) This home isn’t air-conditioned but does have three ceiling fans and two of the upstairs bedrooms have box fans. We all brought along fans as well.

Where is the internet
Great location close to town, BUT internet and TV’’s did not work. Because of no internet we had to leave a day early so my daughter could conduct business conference calls!!!

I loved stay, it was an amazing trip for us. Beautiful home, I’m sorry for not knowing were to put the trash.

Prime location and great house for a group stay
Plenty of bedrooms and huge space for eating group meals! Living room was a bit small for hanging out and only two bathrooms but that didn’t effect our stay. A fire pit, deck, or hot tub would have added to the mountain house experience but the peeler stove was a nice touch inside. Clean and well stocked. Couldn’t ask for a better location for access to skiing, hiking, lakes and of course government camp.

Skiing get-away
My 3 sisters and 4 of our children (some adults/some teens) stayed at this VRBO a few nights at the end of March 2021. The home was just as described online. Very close and convenient to local restaurants and the general store, but most importantly, close to Timberline ski resort and the Ski Bowl.

Great Place!
We loved the location as well as the roominess and openness of the inside of the house. There was plenty of room for everyone! The kitchen had everything we could ever need! The only negative was the amount of bathrooms for the space (2 seems small for the amount of beds in the house). Otherwise great place that we will go back to!

Great Stay
This home was in a great location and was well appointed with everything you may need. There was a lot of snow, but the driveway was freshly plowed when we arrived. There were also snow shovels if we needed to clear the driveway out ourselves.
