The location is simply heavenly, the attention to detail in the restoration is incredible, the location managers treated us with great hospitality and kindness and all the food served was local.
That we didn't stay more 🫣😋

Beautiful location, I felt home in this guesthouse. The rooms were clean, and I loved the original furniture, the high-quality bedding, and sheets. The staff was very nice and helpful. Food was also delicious and plenty.
I will be back on my next trip to Transylvania.

Lovely restored homes, feels like you're staying in the museum, and truly experiencing a taste of history.
The food was delicious and dinner setting outdoors in the charmed little garden was the cherry-on-top.
The water pressure was excellent.

It’s a quiet and peaceful place, the room was clean and beautifully renovated.
Nice and helpful cooking ladies.
The communication skills and proactivity need improvement:
- the reservation confirmation email (and also the website) stated that the reception is at the Stone Pub. When we arrived, there was no one there. Before arrival, someone from the accommodation called me to check our arrival time, it would’ve been great to tell me where should I go for check in. I had to call him twice in order to understand where to go, eventually we met in the street 🙂
- we asked about “cozonac secuiesc” cooking lesson - the answer was simply that it will be on Sunday afternoon, not a convenient time for people checking out on Sunday. There was no effort made to find an alternative time or to propose a different activity
- after I made the reservation I had several emails exchange with someone from the property regarding meal prices. To my surprise, at check out I saw that the actual prices were higher, I told that to the person in charge and all that I got was a shrug. The issue is not about the price difference but the attitude and communication
Food was good quality but flavorless.

The authentic village atmosphere, place to relax and sleep…. Nothing to do
Important
There’s no any place to eat , no restaurant or bar. The stuff are not at the location . Any program you must to ask 2 days before arrive .
At the dinner you have just one option of food .
Saturday and Sunday all facilities are close . The Wi-Fi is poor . It is a family business, you will not receive quality hospitality

The people verry hard working even if it s less personal according to the demand of property. The coordinator do his best to make people enjoy the stay.
The owner of property can invest more in: Employees, children playground, facilitiea of accomodation

Fantastic breakfast. Huge selection, fresh coffee, eggs to order.
Amazing location, beautiful rooms, excellent value. This place is a true Hungarian Székely experience.
Group dining in the evening - served a 3 course dinner with other guests - we all had a great time.
Beautiful walks in local area, relaxed atmosphere. Will 100% be back.
Nothing.

The location is beautiful, as are the buildings and fittings.
It took us nearly two hours, three trips to the office and shuttling the manager around in our car just to check in because he had none of this ready and wanted to take us on a grand tour. The very last thing we wanted after a long day up since 4.30! He then tried to tell us when we should check in and out at his convenience, even though this didn’t match what was advertised or what we wanted to do, and argued against what we wanted. Then he said that he expected us to attend dinner with all the other guests at extra cost in order to make business acquaintances with them as that’s how they do it here, and had to be told multiple times to take no for an answer, which he was very disappointed about. If you’re there for the full experience, this is your thing and you’re willing to take lots of time, I imagine this place is good. If you just want to check in and out and do your own plans in an easy manner with little fuss, avoid it like the plague, I’ve never been anywhere more fuss! There are much nicer, far cheaper guesthouses nearby with less pushy managers.

The village was lovely, perfectly preserved, all modern facilities but housed in traditional old buildings which have been renovated to maintain their integrity. Great evening of food and wine with other guests. Perfect.
4.0 / 10.0
The coziness of the room and the local atmosphere in that place.
the reluctant attitude of the personnel,
lack of good communication over their offer and services,
careless approach in regard with the restaurant waiting,
surprisingly, over-evaluated services and overpriced products

A true immersion in the old Transylvanian atmosphere.
Not enough signs and explanations from the stuff about directions, accommodations, etc.

Very beautiful, quiet and with a calm atmosphere. To stay in such a wonderfully preserved property was delightful. The period furniture and rustic surroundings added so much to the enjoyment of our stay.

The place is a pearl in a small village. The houses are beautifully renovated in an authentic way with traditional furnishing. Spending time here lets you have a glance in the real countryside life, in the rich history of the region. The staff is very friendly and also very authentic. The food was very tasty as well. You should not miss a chance to spend some time here.

Atmosphere is super cozy and historical. Everything is original and no historical fakes.
You feel comfort and hospitality of old days.
Breakfast and dinner are stunning. Ladies are great chefs.
Wifi is well working and there is no TV (loving that).
There is no weak points.

Authentic accommodation, quiet area
Big, spacious rooms, beautiful decor
Friendly and very helpful staff, especially the manager
They facilitated for us a kürtőskalács preparation lesson - we really enjoyed this experience
Great value for money
Good food and great selection of wines
What was fantastic for us was the ability to work remote on Friday from this location - the white house has a big lounge area where one can work. Also it felt special as we were the only guests during that day.
The dinner area is beautiful decorated with a big fireplace - we definitely recommend it (there is also a pool table for those interested)

Everything was beyond my expectations. I felt really special in this authentic place. The facilities and the food were amazing and we also had the possibility for extra activities where we learned how to make Kürtőskalács and a small visit to a super wise man, the blacksmith of the village.
The entire stuff made an effort to make us feel great.
Thank you so much for everything. We will definitely come back!

Very cosy & spaceful rooms. Very kind and communicative staff : they called in advance to talk to us; they have done their best to respect all our needs and requests, they gave us all information needed. Actually Csaba their key person was everywhere, including the perfect guide in the Kalnoky Castle tour.
We highly recommend the blacksmith visit but be aware he only speaks Hungarian & Romanian and his stories truly worth : we’ve spent 2 hours with him! The meals with local food are a nice experience and cellar for diinner it’s a beautiful & friendly spot!
We had the Ghost’s Suite which is perfect for a family : one matrimonial bed small room for parents and the children’s room where you may fit easily : 3 teenagers and a toddler.
Actually we didn’t miss anything!
