This is a cute, clean bungalow in a very convenient location. Lots of steps to get up to the house from street level. That would be the only drawback if you were unable to manage those. We will stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! We were in town for a softball tournament and I looked forward to going back to the house everyday!! Great walkable location to everything. Quiet neighborhood, the house was clean and had everything we wanted. Beds and furniture clean and comfortable. Stairs would be tricky with anyone that had trouble with stairs but for us it was perfect. Our little Daushund loved the daily walks. Easy walk to all the shops and restaurants. Thanks again

This house was in a great location. Every evening we walked to Clumpie’s for ice cream and then took our time eating it on the pedestrian bridge. The front porch was also enjoyable. Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars was we arrived to a pile of flaming hot Cheetos on the rug of one of the bedrooms and many of the towels have stains on them. Time to invest in some new ones! Overall we had a great stay and I’d stay here again.

We booked this cozy bungalow so we could attend our daughter's wedding. It is close to everything. Yes it is an old historic house but it is charming and has all the amenities we needed. The nights were quiet for restful sleep after long days. We loved it. We would definitely recommend it and would stay again if needed.

Perfect location for race access and peace/quiet. Amenities made it very easy to settle in and enjoy the area quickly.
Host was very responsive pre-arrival.

The house is comfortable and well appointed... updated and stylish. And very importantly, a super comfortable mattress. The location could not be better. Close to everything. I could walk everywhere. And as a woman traveling alone the neighborhood felt very safe.

The location of this bungalow is really great. The north shore has a little bit of everything within walking distance. The house itself is perfectly set up for 2-4 people. It has a well stocked kitchen with everything you need. We would definite seek to stay her again if we were ever in Chattanooga.

Most everything about this home was great. Comfortable bed, could have used a couple of staples. 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 3 week stay, no kleenex, 1 garbage bag. Kitchen nicely appointed. Great location if you're a walker, runner, hiker, biker. Restaurants, grocery store, downtown all within walking distance. Even though there is no private parking, street parking was easy. All in all, good experience.

This Bungalow had everything we needed for our stay to feel like a home away from home. Attractions were very easy to get to from the house as well. Parking is on the street. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had.
Just know that there are a lot of stairs to climb to get to the front door. The stairs were not an issue for us. We welcomed the exercise.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay. Thanks!

Stayed here with our 3yo and 5yo. Kids did great with stairs and we appreciate how clean the home was. Furnishings are some of the nicest for a VRBO stay.

Great location and just enough room for my family of 2 girls, my wife, and I. Steps could be a problem, but that could be the case all over Chattanooga. Owner was very responsive to any questions I had. Overall great experience.

We stayed here several years ago for a month while house hunting when it was rented from the previous owner. We lived downtown Chattanooga and returned this trip to visit friends. This house has not been well maintained with a visibly leaking water heater, moldy and slow draining shower/bath tub and moldy shower curtain and overall unclean. Yard was not maintained during our stay and the stairs were dangerous covered in wet leaves. If you are staying for a night or two you would probably not notice. We stayed for two weeks. The house is in a great location near downtown Chattanooga.

Loved the stay! I had some difficulty figuring out the key lock front door but was mostly due to driving fatigue. Host helped me very quickly in responding and gave me good instructions. Great place!

This property was accurately described. House was clean, easy to find, and in a great safe neighborhood very close to downtown. Everything was only a few minutes away that we wanted to do during the stay. Highly recommended.

The property was very clean, including a very nice, clean hot tub. The beds were comfortable. The location was fine, with an issue finding parking in front of the house during Fourth of July celebrations. We had some trouble finding the property at night and the owner was out of the country, so we were unable to get timely assistance. Fortunately, we found it. The stairs are steep and uneven, so be aware of that if you have trouble with stairs. It was pitch black when we arrived, so we needed our flashlights. Our main issue with the property was bugs entering from outside. The windows seem original to the property with significant gaping between the frame, especially the back bedroom. One of the back windows has a large placard taped to it to block a large crack. The back door leads to some kind of supply room? and has a significant gap under the door that's been stuffed with a cloth. Each day we killed about five bugs - large black ants, skinny worms, daddy long legs, a huge centipede, little moths.... These are all bugs that are getting in from outside. I couldn't sleep and we almost went to a hotel.

Great location and adorable rental
Adorable rental for 3 or 4 person stay, a walking distance to so many city attractions. Property owner has so many kitchen and household items at the rental to make you feel right at home. Dog friendly neighborhood and neighbors are wonderful. Clean home with very fine and comfortable bedding. We fell in love with the town and would love to return again. Easy door code check in and very safe feel to the neighborhood and town. The porch is so great, especially in the morning sun with birds and neighborhood windchimes to accompany your morning coffee. Street is not too busy, not too loud
, and home is quiet, we slept very well. We loved the high hillside mount of the home, however small children may need supervision on steep hill and stairs pose a challenge for elderly or physically handicapped individuals. I was not able to reach property owner however after a glass picture frame accidently fell off mantle of fireplace. I took picture to local art store and had it re framed as close to the existing frame at my own expense. I wanted to contact owner to make her aware of incident, but messages were not returned. Perhaps it was not considered an emergency. Overall though very sweet, clean, safe place to fall in love with Chattanooga!

Wonderful Location and Accommodations
This house is in the perfect location to experience North Chattanooga. We walked the friendly neighborhood daily. We also walked to the Walnut Street Bridge, Coolidge Park, Renaissance Park, the BaseCamp Pub and Eatery, and other eating establishments. The house’s front porch is where we spent many hours enjoying listening to the birds and watching people walking their dogs. The house was very clean and comfortable. Just be aware you have to park on the street and walk up over 30 steps to get into the house. The front porch is higher than the roofs of the houses across the street, so you have a beautiful view.

Spring Break in Chattanooga
My family and I loved our first visit to Chattanooga. Bungalow 319 was the perfect home-base to explore the city on foot. The house was even more spacious than expected. Hot tub and porch were great for relaxing. We walked to the aquarium, Coolidge Park and many North Shore restaurants and shops.

Chattanooga Marathon
This is a great location in a nice quiet neighborhood. Friendly, quiet neighbors. We came to run the marathon and decided to stay a few days on both sides. The house was just right for us. Easy walk to Fraiser Ave and Coolidge park as well as the Walnut St. bridge. I rode my bike the full length of the river walk from the house with no issues. We plan on coming again!
