I like the friendly staff, room was spacious and clean.
Limited and repetetive breakfast selection.

Clean, modern and good size - nice and peaceful. Breakfast arrangement was a little strange - buffet one day and the next we had a packed meal which was cold pasta and cream sauce
Quite a basic hotel but that’s what you expect for the money

Finishing are very modern—USB charging ports in all the outlets; table and counter spaces all in the right places.
Rooms are not as “soundproof” as they advertise; we could hear a lot of noise from the neighboring rooms, even after we’d turned in for the night. Breakfast didn’t begin serving until 7:30—that’s a bit late by Taiwan hotel standards, and later than we were able to wait. Nowhere on the website was that spelled out either, and that’s pretty standard to include in the description. Hotel has its own parking but still charges guests in addition to its premium room rates. Single bed was on wheels, so it moved very easily, and this was also much wobblier than a standard bed. At this price point, that absolutely should NOT be the case.

nothing I like with this hotel because of the worst ever front desk service.
Comments from my travel partner
We met a cold face when we checked in with the front desk in the hotel on Mar 23rd,2023. That is the last night we stayed in Taiwan, where is a such wonderful place. Unfortunately, the person with a cold face destroyed our joyful experience, which like “ One ill weed mars a whole pot of pottage.”
The last name of the receptionist with a cold face is “Lee”or “Li”, not sure…during the whole process of checking in, his attitude is not welcome, and also did not provide any friendly service to us. No matter what we discussed with him in detail, his attitude always was unfriendly and rude. The worst thing is : when we were parking the car to the hotel’s narrow parking lot, this person not only provided any help, but asked his colleague to take a video, and kept warning us that we must do compensation if we hit anything in the parking lot, because he was recording all evidence via the video. How awful behavior it is!!!
This person (Lee) is completely not qualified for the service job in a hotel. Please please providing more training to him, otherwise , he will ruin the hotel.
1. This hotel list on Booking.com as they have parking space. But a few days before arriving, the hotel sent me an email asked $300 extra to reserve a parking, which surprised me as it does not seems like a normal Booking.com process.
2. When we arrive the hotel at 11pm, the front desk staff, with the most unfriendly and not welcome attitude before we say any words, told us they don't provide any parking.
3. I had to shown him the emails which confirmed the reservation, he is very unhappy and start acting very rude when he charge the additional $300 parking fee.
4. He said they have run out of real parking place and can only offer me a corner behind a very narrow path in the building. While I start backing up to parking, he asked me if I have a Taiwan driver's license. I told him I have a Canadian driver's license which can drive worldwide, his hotel knows and Taiwan car rental company provided the car and insurance.
5. This staff start acting crazy. He ask me not to park in his hotel. He said this is his property and he has the right to kick anybody out.
6. I told him it's okay to me to find another parking place and hotel, but please refund me the money. He refused and said I can only get money back from Booking.com
7. That was almost 12pm and we really don't have energy to debate with him. I managed to parking and get the key while he was taking video on our face which we felt offended and insulted.
8. I booked room with 2 beds, but there were 1 bed and 1 half size temporary bed, which is very uncomfortable.
9. The next morning when we check out, that front desk staff is off duty. We talked to other staffs and been told that rude man's last name is Lee or Li, he is just an employee, not the boss of hotel as what he act as last night.
I felt sorry for this hotel, this Mr. lee seems trying hard to make customer unsatisfied and make the hotel go out of business.
I also felt sorry for Booking.com to have this type of hotel in your list.

Mechanized parking went better than expected, although one has to be careful moving in and out of the car-elevator and the parking spot, as a spot or two may have built structures within its boundaries that might nick the car if you are not careful. You have to book ahead of time and pay NTD300 per day to use the parking facility. Our room was on the top floor. The room was bright and faces the street, but traffic noise was minimal. The location is convenient. Bus stops practically across the street that have lines going to Taipei Train Station. Subway is only 7 minute walk away. On the day we left, we opted to take the taxi to Taipei Train Station instead. The fare was just over NTD200. The room has a safe, but then it stopped working. Turned out the safe battery died, and it was replaced promptly by the staff, a first in my travel experience :D
Restaurants are available nearby: traditional taiwanese 燒餅油條 for breakfast, taiwan牛肉麵,a western eatery called Campus Cafe that served good italian pasta, Japanese eateries and small cake confectionaries, you name it. There is also an underground supermarket next to Campus Cafe.
There is a step up into the bathroom and the bathroom ceiling dropped lower than the room itself, so you are talking about a bathroom height of less than 7 ft. One has to watch out lest the head hits the towerl rack. The toilet is seated too close to the back, almost had to swivel a bit to the right to "do my job". There is no restaurant facility, so breakfast is the standard boxed "bian dong" ordered from nearby eateries, although the menu changes daily.

Less vegetarian breakfast options

By far one of the best hotel we stayed. Aesthetically pleasing so even our room doesn't have windows we did not feel enclosed. Also, this hotel considered most customers needs like table for dining. My son loved the bath tub! Bed is also so comfy. Also, breakfast was great. The hotel is just 500m away from MRT so very convenient for tourist.
Parking has 300NT fee per night but it is okay.

The night staff were polite although they couldn't fix the safe. A morning front desk staff named Joey 邱欣瑾 was extremely rude and unprofessional. He's the reason I decided never to stay in this hotel again. I also advise no one book this place until the management deal with this bad apple.

They upgraded my room.
Breakfast was a bit bland. They did provide fresh milk when I asked for it, but otherwise no dairy or muesli at all and chinese offering and fruit was lacking in flavour and variety. No fruit juice that I could find.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They kept our bags for us so we didn't need to carry them around. They also helped us call taxis.
Usually, receptionists will ask if you want breakfast. It's not often "forcefully" served. When we arrived, it also seemed like the building was over staffed. It was very intimidating walking into the lobby with 5-10 people greeting you.

We got complimentary drinks and snacks. I'm not sure if this is a regular occurance or a new year perk but it was nice.
The staff said they upgraded our room but it wasn't much of an upgrade. We booked a double room and they upgraded us to a room that had two double beds. However, the second bed didn't have any linen on it. And I actually booked the original room for the window view but our "upgrade" didn't have a window view. That was very disappointing.
