Casa Mahogany is a cozy and relaxing hideaway surrounded by tropical plants and a sturdy 100 ft mahogany tree protected by Florida endangered species society. It is home to squirrels, bright green Iguanas, blue Jay birds and at times wild green Parakeets make a stop on its canopy to take a break. Next to the tree, sharing a little of its shadow, is an inviting pool and Jacuzzi that contours the landscape.
Rent boat or jet ski nearby and greet your guests at the wooden dock. The open ocean is only 20-25 minutes’ boat ride away!
Spend a quiet time fishing under the mahogany tree while enjoying the ocean breeze. The backyard faces the ocean to the east and in the morning you can often enjoy a beautiful sunrise and sometimes in the evening an impressive full moon.
Casa Mahogany from the moment you walk in, you get a feeling of spacious, relaxing, non-cluttered space yet a place that makes you feel comfortable right away. The house is an open plan design with water views visible from all rooms. It has 3 large bedrooms, 2 and half bathrooms and a large Florida room with a bar, 55” HDTV and plenty of seating. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a separate laundry room and a relaxing outdoor patio, accessible from all rooms in this bungalow. All beds have 100% cotton sheets and guest are provided 100% premium quality cotton bath and hand towels.

We came for spring break and the house was located in a great neighborhood, neighbors were friendly. The house is very well kept, everything you need for an enjoyable vacation. Pool and hot tub was perfect. Definitely would stay again. Any questions I had Nigel answered them immediately. I would highly recommend!

We loved the location. Short drive to the ocean and many restaurants. Close enough drive to Fort Lauderdale and airport. Received excellent information on everything from the hosts. Had a issue with the hot tub but received quick response and fix within a day. Highly recommended. Would rent again if we ever return to the area.

Where can I start? From check in- how easy it was to work with Nigel. Answered a few questions we had via texting and emailing. We stayed a couple of weeks over the holidays. The pool and hot tub were warm and perfect! Location was great! A couple of driving miles to the beaches. Went to four beaches within 20 miles- very safe and clean. We went to a handful of restaurants up and down the inter coastal and oceanfront. We stayed the past couple of years in Naples, Venice and by far this side was the best for entertainment, friendly people and proximity. West coast was beautiful and beaches but a lot more to do on the east coast in our families opinion. I would highly recommend- felt very safe and neighbors were super nice! Highly recommend! Thank you!

Had a fantastic time. Property is beautiful, clean. Kids loved the pool and hot tub, and fishing in the canal (no luck though!). Owners responded quickly to questions. Location is short drive to Pompano Beach, and Ft Lauderdale and Del Ray Beach are 30 min away. Pompano Community Park has nice playground and running path.

As soon as you walk through the door you know you are where you are supposed to be. The home is beautiful and large enough to accommodate our family of 10 for our Thanksgiving dinner. The outdoor scenery is stunning! We could not have asked for better hosts. Nigel was concerned for our happiness, comfort, and was so understanding when we were “surprised “ with a visit from our family from North Carolina.

Our family stayed at Casa Mahogany for 13 days. It was myself, grand parents ,11 year old twins and my uncle who lives in Florida. There was plenty of room. I love to travel we stay at resorts and air BNB. my absolute favorite place
Is Casa Mahogany. The back yard is absolute paradise. We visited in late July when it was very hot but the beautiful Mahogany tree provided ample shade so we were not in the direct sun and the pool kept us cool. The tree was home to parrots which the kids loved sitting in chairs and
Watching the birds visit. The kids loved fishing right off the dock. We were visited by turtles and a momma duck every night. The house is fully equipped with everything we needed and clean. The neighborhood is safe I walked every morning alone. Only a 5 min drive to the beach maybe less. So many grocery stores and restaurants just minutes away it was great. Nigel is a fantastic host. This property is welcoming, easy to adapt to and has a relaxing environment. The communications with the owner are efficient. The location is practical and there is much to do in the area. The pool and terrace layout are a great place to hang out.

A Beautiful Getaway
This house was everything and more. The entire family really enjoyed it! The spa was a great feature and getting to enjoy the sunrise on the dock every morning was the best part. Some suggestions would be to do a bit of maintenance work on the house- such as the bar countertop is chipping and front yard plantings, etc. Thank you again and we’ll definitely be back!

Tropical Paradise
My husband, son, and I had a delightful time at Casa Mahogany. We divided our time between the local beach and this amazing backyard. With the Everglades and South Beach so close, we were able to squeeze in a couple of day trips. Our hosts provided everything we needed to make our visit easy and convenient. I highly recommend this home for families.

Great location
The property is very nice and is located in an extremely nice neighborhood. We had a great time staying there and enjoyed the pool and fishing off the dock a lot. The backyard was perfect: the pool was a great size for all us, the dock and sea wall gave enough room for all of us to fish, and the large tree gave tons of shade. You are close to many local resturants and the beach.

Beautiful Pool!
We enjoyed our time here! The pool is big and so beautiful with the canal in the background. Our only complaint was the the hot tub didn't work properly. It would only heat when the bubbles were on full blast which is quite uncomfortable after awhile. I also wish there would have been more pool towels, pillowcases for the extra pillows and a starter bottle of detergent. The living room TV also broke but the owner was quick to purchase a replacement. Overall I would recommend this place!

Excellent vacation
The property was very clean and exactly as described. The house was well stocked, and it even a high chair and crib for our 7 month old baby. The backyard was beautiful and the pool/jacuzzi was amazing. The location is perfect. Close to the beach or any shopping/sightseeing. The instructions for the pool/jacuzzi were a little confusing, but Nigel responded quickly and walked us through the instructions. The only thing I would change is maybe having beach chairs/umbrella available. Otherwise, this is a great rental and we had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this property and we would love to come back!!

Beautiful and relaxing
This property was absolutely beautiful and in a nice neighborhood. Didn’t find one thing wrong or different from the actual listing . The owners are wonderful and considerate. There was a possibility that I needed to change reservation due to my son breaking his ankle and Nigel was super understanding and prepared to accommodate! Would stay here again definitely!

Beautiful Vacation Home
We loved Casa Mahogany! The backyard is beautiful and so peaceful. Exactly what we were looking for in a vacation rental. Nigel was very responsive. I have rented a lot of vacation rentals and believe it is so important to rent from someone who will respond if something comes up. Nigel was just that! We loved Pompano and the beautiful landscaping of the area. It is a great location for exploring Ft Lauderdale and Miami. I definitely recommend Casa Mahogany if you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful vacation home!

Vacation
The house was beautiful. The entire backyard setting just makes the entire stay. We loved sitting outside in the morning, watching the boys fish, and watching all of the iguanas that are on the property. It was a great location and we have no complaints! We would definitely consider staying again in the future.

A beautiful oasis
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at casa mahogany. The home was well laid out and equipped and for our party of 7 perfectly. The backyard was beautiful. We caught several fish out of the canal - thanks Nigel and Maria for the fishing rods- and spent our days soaking up the sun by the pool. The property has just the right mix of sun and shade - for those who want sun there was always a spot to lounge and those who wanted shade could easily find that as well. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, grocery stores were less than five min away. The beach was about a 10mim drive. Nigel and Maria were very easy to deal with and checking in and out was seamless. Overall we loved it and will return when we can.

A Wonderful Stay
Pictures and indepth written information that the owner's provided was on point and very helpful with the rcommendations of the area. The house was open and airy with plenty of space and nice in room closets/furniture to put our stuff away. The back yard was so pretty and tranquil it was hard to leave for other activities. We enjoyed the pool and spa and loved the changing light in the spa which is so fun at night. I had a few questions about the care of the pool and Nigel's response was so pleasant, timely, and informative. We saw some boats come down the canal and saw an iguana daily just as was described. It was very quiet neighborhood and close to everything. We visited the week before Thanksgiviing so we got to enjoyed seeing new Christmas decorations go up each night as we drove through the neighborhood. Fun to see all the palm tree decorated. We had great weather, mostly 80 degrees, and spent most of our time outside. We hope to get back there again to escape the winter cold.

A piece of paradise
Nigel and Maria have a beautiful home and we really enjoyed our stay. The home is clean and in a great location (close to the beach and grocery store, etc). We stayed here with our 2 kids (ages 12 and 14) and my in-laws. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub, fishing off the dock and keeping track of all the iguana's! The grandparents could sit in the shade and watch the kids. We brought our own kayaks and enjoyed a couple paddles around the canal's. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place in the Pompano Beach area.

Casa Mahogany is the Perfect Home Base
Casa Mahogany was the perfect home base for my family's recent February trip to Pompano Beach. The location of the house is perfect - short drive to the beach, grocery store, shopping, downtown Fort Lauderdale, Deerfield Beach, and Boca Raton. The pool and spa were beautifully maintained and were always perfectly heated. The layout of the house, with its three spacious bedrooms, is ideal for multiple families/couples. Each bedroom feels private and separate. The laundry facility was easy to use and the home was well stocked with towels. I appreciated the eco-friendly shampoo dispensers and the overall cleanliness of the home. Nigel and Maria were always responsive and a pleasure to work with. I'm so thankful to them for sharing their beautiful home with us. Memories of drinking coffee in the backyard under the majestic mahogany tree with my father, husband, and sister while watching the iguanas and boats pass by will last a lifetime.

Great place to stay in Pompano Beach!
This is a wonderful home to stay in Pompano Beach! We were a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 children). The home was equipped very well, was a wonderful thing to barbeque in Floridas warm night and sit outside by the pool. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. Our group thought the home was even better than on the photos, we would definetely stay there again if we ever come back to Florida.
Nigel and Maria always replied to our messages quikly and were very helpful. The location was perfect, a quiet neigborough but close to restaurants and grocery stores. But of course you need a car. Perfect place for a vacation!

Comfortable house, gorgeous views, perfect stay
We are seasoned renters down in Florida each winter, and this was our first stay north of Ft Lauderdale. We now love Pompano Beach! The house is located on a quiet dead-end street, and is convenient to shopping, the beautiful beach, and even a night out in Miami Beach.
The outdoor amenities are excellent: hot tub overlooking a canal, lovely pool and enough space to have a meal under the canopy. We saw fish jumping and lizards back there, and never tired of just sitting with a cup of coffee enjoying our surroundings.
Accommodations are good; the three bedrooms are each in a different corner of the house, which provides privacy. The bathrooms are really cool! Hand painted vanities, and a rain shower in the master.
Common areas are comfy. Even though we had a bit of a problem with the TV channels, we figured out how to watch the Superbowl, which was the most disappointing aspect of our stay! (Completely unrelated to the house, of course.)
We were really pleased with the responsiveness and communication from the owner and are already planning another vacation back to Casa Mahogany.

Wonderfull vacations!
We rented Casa Mahogany from december 27th to january 3rd for our family vacations. We we're a party of 6 (2 adults, 1 teenager and 3 kids). We had a wonderfull time there and would've gladly stay longer.
The house is located in a nice, quiet neighbourhood. When we reserved, Nigel sent us an extensive document with a lot of usefull information about what to do in Pompano and usefull tips. The house document the owner sent us was also very informative and usefull.
Rooms are large and beds are very comfortable. The only down side was the futon that we're not very comfortable according to the 2 kids who slept on them.
The kitchen is very well equiped. There even was some oil, vinegar and spices.
The kids loved playing in the pool and we enjoyed relaxing in the spa at night.
We had to communicate with the owner a few times via textos while in Florida and he always responded within a few hours to our inquiries.
We would rent this house again without hesitation if we go back to Pompano.

We enjoyed our stay, great location
We enjoyed staying at Intel's home in Florida. We came there as a family of 6 adults and one infant. The location was great and close to everything!! The home was clean and comfortable with a great view in the backyard. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, and relaxing on the back porch. Would definitely rent again.

A great location to access South Florida
We enjoyed our stay here and watching the kids chase the wildlife. This was a great "base camp" to easily access all that South Florida had to offer. It will be on our list to return to when we vacation in Florida again. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had prior to our stay and provided great resources for the local area attractions and needs.

Beautiful house, nice location.
Everything about this house was great. The only issue we ran into was trouble with the water temperature in the spa. That was going to get fixed. it would have been nice if it had been working. The intercoastal location was perfect and there was a lot of space inside the house for our group of 8.

A month at Casa Mahogany
My wife and I just returned from spending a month at lovely Casa Mahogany. The house is much larger and spread out which is especially good if you have guests staying with you. Most of the couches were also futons so you could accommodate guests besides the bedrooms. The outside was just beautiful and we spent as much time out there as possible. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Nigel the owner though not local was always available to help with anything we needed, and the next door neighbors were actually caretakers and couldn't be more helpful. On the downside was the living room seating which were quite uncomfortable. The owner is in the process of changing to more comfortable seating. Also a table and chairs for the outside would be helpful. Overall we had a wonderful stay.
