About this house rental

This 5 bedroom 6 bathroom, 2800 sq ft house is just the perfect place for a large or multi family get away. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. This unique home has so much to be desired and we did not leave anything out. A new custom kitchen was installed May 2017 along with all brand new furnishings including bedrooms, mattress, TV, dressers, all appliances, washer/dryer and more. The house offers games, books, toys, wifi and more to keep your family entertained. Please play and have fun. The house includes all bedding, towels and even a few extra's to make sure your stay is the best ever. Forget something- don't worry, we know it happens which is why we hope you enjoy your welcome home basket which contains many of the "little things." Be the first to book and stay at this amazing home. The house is best known to the locals as the "church" because it was once the local church which was converted into a one of a kind "retreat" that we call The Haven. The property is located in the center of town, walk to beach, restaurants, shopping, amusement park and more. Lets not forget about the fishing and hunting.. The Turning Stone casino is a short drive away as well as golf and other amenities. In the winter we welcome ice fishing groups along with snow mobile groups. The driveway can hold multiple cars and sleds as we are on a double lot. The laundry room boasts large counters to dry your equipment, helmets and gear. We are excited to have you and look forward to hearing from you.

Great location to Sylvan Beach, restaurants and stores. All a very short walk away. The house is perfect - big kitchen, pool table, games. Every bedroom has a bathroom. Very quiet street. Perfect!

The Haven is set up perfectly for our group, with a large, comfortable common area and a fantastic kitchen. It's a very short walk to the beach and everything else the Sylvan Beach main street has to offer. We literally never drive anywhere once we've arrived. Rhonda has consistently been an excellent host who addresses any questions very quickly. Looking forward to our next stay already!

Great place to stay in a great area with a ton to do in walking distance. They have it set up with towel and garbage bags dishes pans towels , all the little things you sometimes overlook when packing they had for you . Host was very responsive and was a great spot to reconnect with people. The pool table and sectional couches with TVs and massive kitchen were great .

5 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms...check Walkable to town..... check But.... the lighting was terrible, most of the TVs didn't work, one old a/c unit in the house , the worst mattress ever, and I mean ever... and I wish the owner would have checked in to see how everything was going. The house needs some love.

We weren’t able to enjoy Sylvan Beach because our schedule in Syracuse was so full, but we enjoyed being able to stay together under one roof!! One of the best amenities about the property was having enough bathrooms and the beautiful wood interior of the great room!

We had a really nice stay at this property. Host was super helpful and location was perfect. We were a few blocks from beach. We were up in this area for a family member’s military funeral/celebration of life. Property was perfect for our needs.

Contact with owners was immediate and any issues or questions were resolved Would be an ideal summer rental due to the proximity to the beach and town. Would not recommend a winter rental. Space is too Difficult to heat.

Great place. Our annual guys trip with friends and family was great and part of it was because of this space. I really enjoyed the fact that each of the 6 rooms has their own bathroom. The fact that it used to be a church adds a ton of character. close to Turing stone casino ($40 -$50 Lyft/uber) plenty of parking and plenty of extra amenities like extra towels, air mattresses, pool table, games, etc. The property manager is very responsive and I really enjoyed reading through the binder and learning about all of the great things that the property owners do. thank you for allowing us to stay here. Hoping to come back soon.

We were in the area for a family memorial service. Our immediate family stayed at The Haven and we loved it! There was so much for the kids to do and the adults enjoyed playing pool. This was the perfect spot for the weekend for our family!

10 of us stayed for 4 days for a bass tournament. Plenty of room, and exactly what we were looking for. The parking situation was a huge bonus, given that we had several trucks & boats. Rhonda was responsive to questions and very nice. We will definitely be looking to stay again next year when we fish Oneida.

Good location and plenty of room. We were there to play golf. We found the beds uncomfortable. the property was surface clean, but not deep clean. For example, there were dead flies on several of the window ledges

The Haven is a beautiful and spacious rental. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom plus a community bathroom as well. The Haven came stocked with all the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom supplies one may need, which was great! Plenty of space for parking and a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Overall, a great place to stay!

This is our second time staying at The Haven....we love that everything is on one floor and has 5 bedrooms and six bathrooms. We enjoyed watching the Preakness together as we are a horse racing family. There were plenty of towels, seating space for the ten of us. My sisters enjoyed the front and back patios for sitting and relaxing. Close enough to walk to a store or a restaurant. Thank you.

We were visiting family in the area to celebrate Thanksgiving . The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans and serving dishes. It was great to have so many bathrooms and bedrooms with our large group. We loved the pool table and large living area and our 4 year old niece really enjoyed the toys. Rhonda quickly responded to all of our questions. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Had a Nintendo Switch, controllers, and games left behind. They denied it was there. It was only until someone from the address logged in and tried buying games that I caught them. They said they would ship it back and then ghosted us. It’s been months. Avoid this property. These people are not trustworthy.

The community space was outstanding! Plenty of room for everyone to gather, enjoy each other's company and for cooking together. Only downside was uncomfortable beds due to uncomfortable mattresses. Otherwise, it was perfect!

We had a wonderful time. Perfect location to the Midway and to our other family's camps. The rooms worked out great! Each room had it's own bathroom, which was wonderful. The kitchen was huge and allowed for great gatherings. Having the pool table there gave hours of entertainment for everyone.

This was our group's second year at the Haven, and we're planning on booking again! Everything was wonderful, the best part is that you don't really need to drive anywhere as all of the amenities are walking distance. Rhonda is very communicative, and when we arrived early this year we were able to check in early. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Very unsanitary, all matresses not clean and old, kitchsn is horrible stains eveeywhere and lots and lots of sticky in the fridge. Lots of stuff so old it broke. Mold everywhere and spiders/ ants.

We love staying here. It’s spacious and comfortable with plenty of entertainment for the everyone. It’s a short walk to the lake with the most gorgeous sunsets. The house has everything you need for a wonderful relaxing vacation. Rhonda is great to work with and prompt to respond to any questions.
