Upon walking into the space you could see the thoughtfulness the owners had put towards the details in the interior design. In addition, there are magnanimous views and a variety of seating to enjoy the lake scenery as well as a grill, fire pit, corn hole, paddle board, kayak, canoe and a humming bird feeder that does not disappoint. The owners conveyed through their information binder, their knowledge of Lake Elmore, the secret treasures of the local area and a multitude of activities within the surrounding towns thus ensuring many fun outings. After a full day of physical activity coming back to this home was a peaceful refuge.🌸

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home! We skied Stowe and hiked Elmore. Noting from the firepower where our VRBO was. The ice was super thick and we walked out there a bit as well, no skating though as there was too much snow. A positive problem! We loved the fireplace after our cold adventures. Thanks again.

The boys were able to play in the snow and make some awesome snow tube runs. We liked how the road was well plowed but not busy with only resident traffic.We loved that it was only 20 minutes from Stowe as we love the town! We only wish we had more time to enjoy it and also wish it was summer to enjoy the lake. Our boys have already asked to come back in summer so hopefully we can make it happen.Ralph was very responsive to the two questions I had via messages and phone. The house was lovely and sits right on beautiful lake Elmore. We woke up to great views of the mountain each day. The house was as advertised and met all of our needs. Cross country skiing and snowshoeing available right on the property with lots of other options nearby.

We had a nice and easy stay. Everything was as advertised and reasonable for the price. We spent our timing skiing at Stowe, which is a 30-minute drive. House has 2 bedrooms, which was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids), located on a quiet street on the lake with gorgeous views. Kitchen is well stocked and all equipment works well. The only concern we had was that the house was a bit cold. The propane stove heats it as much as it can, but we had to keep bedroom doors open to keep bedrooms warm at night as it was January and it was-9F outside.

Excellent stay with a beautiful view! Our family enjoyed our week long stay at this Lake house! It is positioned far enough away to enjoy nature and all of its beauty. It was only a 10-15 min drive to Morristown town center and the grocery store. We would love to visit again.

The property is well-kept and well-located and the lake view is great to wake up to. Would definitely come back!

The property was wonderful! Between the hummingbirds, bald eagle, ducks, swimming, and fishing it was a perfect week.

Exactly as advertised. The town of Elmore was quaint and welcoming. The country side is beautiful!

Perfect location, for lakefront enjoyment (canoe, kayak, paddle board, fire pit, barbecue, picnic table, deck and lawn seating); walk to general store; services in Morrisville — Hannaford's, Price Chopper, Pleasant Street car repairs, Bijou movie theater; easy drives to Stowe/Waterbury, Montpelier, and cultural events, even classical music(!) in the Northeast Kingdom. All this plus a customary Fire Tower hike, and multiple Fire Tower Pizzas from the Elmore Store. More loons this year, but fewer ducks — something to ponder while sipping a beverage. More power-boating, too; enough to stir up the silt around the dock but not so much as to spoil the swimming. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!

Loved our stay in this beautiful spot on Lake Elmore! Quiet, peaceful and perfect spot for our kids & grandkids to visit. Great swimming, big lawn, swing set, fire pit, dock, kayak, paddle board & lawn games were all put to use..!!! Close to Sandy beach at Elmore State Park & the General Store for great pizza & ice cream! Friendly, helpful owners & well equipped home. Listening to the loons, feeding the hummingbirds & watching the sun set behind the mountain...perfect two weeks!

We stayed here for three weeks and it was a beautiful camp with everything that we needed. We were close to area attractions when we wanted to get out, but we also spent lots of time just enjoying the quiet and serenity of Lake Elmore. Loved visiting the country store just a short walk away, the loons, and quiet walks on Camp Road. And when it rained - we sat on the screened-in porch with a cup of coffee and a good book! It just doesn't get any better than this.

You will not find a nicer, cleaner home to stay in on a most beautiful lake. We felt so comfortable the moment we walked in. It has everything to make life easy and feel like it is your home. There are boats to see the lake in, trees for shade and sunny areas all on the property. It is quiet and tranquil and we loved the screened in porch to read, watch the hummingbirds and eat at a cute table and chairs. I am so thankful we found a week open and we are already planning our return. within a half hour in any direction you'll find something to see and do. Best place ever for us!

Excellent lake resources and lake home features. A lovely vacation including fortunate timing for weather - considering June could be iffy in New England! Resources for toddlers was fortunate and a bonus. The home is quite safe for little ones with a super and simple swing set that rivals swings anywhere! We had delighted children daily

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our 5 day stay at the camp on Lake Elmore. The home is beautiful with gorgeous views of Mount Elmore across the lake. We went hiking in the National Park right up the road from the camp. There are great views from the fire tower at the top of Mount Elmore! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away!

Very clean comfortable rental camp/home. Good heating system, plenty of hot water for shower, excellent large refrigerator. Nice location with small dock. All for a reasonable price. However, this assumes a small number of people - a family of four or two couples who are able to manage with just one small (but well-appointed) bathroom. In short, pretty close to perfect for up to four persons, especially if they don't have teen-aged children who like to take extended showers!

This comfortable, cozy home on the water is a perfect spot for a quiet Vermont vacation. We used the canoe to explore the small but quiet and lovely lake, read by the dock, and hiked nearby Mt. Mansfield. With Montpelier and Stowe both within a half hour, we had plenty of restaurant and grocery options, too. The house had everything we needed and waking up to the view of a fog-covered lake was a special bonus. I would highly recommend this property!

We loved our stay here on Lake Elmore. Plenty to do kayaking, fishing, bike riding, hiking and just enjoying the view from the patio or screened in porch. The house was beautiful with hardwood floors throughout and a nice open living room space. It was furnished with everything you needed ie. pots and pans, blender, coffee maker, toys, games, tv and wifi. Would definitely go again.

This home on Lake Elmore is exactly what you want to get away from it all. The house is pristine, clean, comfortable and private. Felt right at home and truly enjoyed the decor (love the director chairs) as well as the view. We spent more time at the house than expected, that's how good it is. Coffee on deck in rocking chairs overlooking the lake each morning, grilling each night watching the sun set and sitting in front of the fire pit. The owners have thought of everything to make this home well worth it.

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood on a beautiful lake. We really enjoyed our stay. In particular, we enjoyed using the canoe and kayak on the lake and sitting on the back porch relaxing and watching the hummingbirds and lake. Some of the days during our stay were chilly outside, but we used the gas stove which quickly warmed us up inside. This is a very comfortable home, nicely equipped, and the owners were very nice to work with and very responsive to our inquiries. Strongly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful vacation staying in this place. The description about the place is accurate. It is clean and well-maintained. The area is also quiet and picturesque. We didn't have to call the owner during our stay because we have everything we needed. It's hard to get a cell phone signal and that's another plus for us. We have more time enjoying the nature. There's a home phone if you need to make a phone call. The place is 20-30 minutes away from Stowe where the ski areas are. This place is highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay on Camp Road. House was exactly as advertised! It appears to have been renovated very recently. Everything went smoothly. Also the house is very warm, which is important on those chilly fall mornings. Elmore is such a quaunt town! We loved it! Stop by the Elmore Store and be sure to hike to the fire tower that is on top of Elmore Mountain. You can actually see it from the dock at the house. Only issues we experienced were with the Internet and cell coverage. Internet had trouble loading websites and streaming video on several occasions but not a deal breaker. Even with Verizon we had little to no coverage there. Oddly enough we had coverage while hiking the mountain. We were pleased to find a restroom and sink in the garage. Not the prettiest setup but was necessary in a house with four adults. In addition, I loved taking out the canoe at daybreak and enjoying the fog looming over the water. Thanks for the stay!

We spent a week and enjoyed beautiful Lake and Mountain views. House is very comfortable and clean with everything you need for a great vacation. I really recommend.

We had a great week in the well equipped lake house. Everything you need is available - especially to mention the kayak, canoe and badminton set. We loved the feeder for the humming birds and enjoyed watching them. Thank you again for sharing your quiet home with us.

The house is very clean and there tons of towels and everything else you could need to enjoy yourself. There is a grill, a firepit, canoes, you really only need food and drinks. The yard is beautiful and leads right down to the lake where you can sit and read or just lay in the sun. The view is beautiful of the lake and the mountain behind it. There are tons of things to do within less than an hours drive. Burlington, Stowe, Smugglers Notch, Montpelier are all close and make for nice day trips. There is also a state park that you can walk/drive to from the house and there is a nice beach and a clubhouse with snacks and bathrooms. I would highly recommend this place for your summer/fall vacation.
