About this cabin rental
The cabin sits high on the sunny side of the mountain in Cascade with really nice mountain views. It is easily accessible from Highway 24 without the sight and noise of the highway. It is centrally located to many of the attractions in the area, including North Pole/Santa's Workshop, Pikes Peak, Woodland Park, Cripple Creek and Victor, Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs.
5 person maximum occupancy.
The rent is $150.00 per night for a 3 night minimum. If you rent it for 7 nights or more the rent is $125 per night and for 28 nights or more the rent is $100.00 per night! This is the eleventh year we have been charging the same prices. We have to charge state imposed taxes and a $300.00 damage/cleaning fee. *Sorry, rates are firm, water is very expensive in Cascade.*
We will consider ONE well behaved, potty trained dog, 20 lbs. or larger, upon approval only! They must be kenneled/crated when left alone in the cabin, cannot be left alone outside in the yard because of excessive barking, running the neighborhood or because of the risk of wildlife. They aren't permitted on the beds or the furniture at anytime. Dog poop must be picked up in bags daily and placed in trash cans. Please mention that you would like to bring a dog and what kind it is during booking. Cats are not allowed, no exceptions.
We offer a washer and dryer for your use and we supply a variety of HE detergents and fabric softeners FREE OF CHARGE. We only ask that you be mindful of our high water cost in Cascade. If you have MANY loads of laundry to do, for example, you've been camping or not had laundry facilities for a long time where you were before arriving at our cabin, we ask that you leave us $10-$20 on the kitchen table before you check out. It is strictly on the honor system. ;o) If you rent for a longer period of time, no charge.
We do not charge an upfront cleaning fee like most rentals do. If you clean it well and leave it like you found it there will not be a cleaning fee. If you don't clean it, there will be a $50 per hour cleaning fee (or more) deducted from your $300 cleaning/damage deposit. We don't ask you to oil the paneling or wax the floor, just clean and wipe up what you messed up. We wash the sheets and towels so you don't have to!
We are hands on owners that do all of our own booking, cleaning and maintenance, sorry we don't have staff! We are hard working, responsible, honest and have integrity and are looking for renters who have the same qualities (a sense of humor is a plus). If you have these qualities please inquire about our cabin...if you do not, please rent a motel!
We supply: sheets, towels, kleenex, toilet paper, liquid hand soap, dish soap (both kinds), laundry soap, fabric softener, paper towels, plasitic baggies, plastic wrap, foil, some spices, salt and pepper.
You will need: clothes (including jackets even in the summer, you never know when you're in the mountains), body soap, personal toiletries, food and beverages...that's it!
It's just like home, the sheets might be little wrinkled only ours are clean! Come check it out!

The cabin was very clean and handy to all the attractions and areas we wanted to go to in Ute Pass. Everything worked well, internet, water, etc. The TV was limited in channels to watch, but that's not why we went on vacation. Jeanette made sure we were comfortable and responded promptly to any texts we sent. We definitely recommend it for a nice relaxing experience in the Rockies!

This cabin was the perfect home base for our weekend activities (pikes peak, cave of the winds, etc.). The owner was very unformative and helpful.

The whole experience at Heischās Haven was amazing, located just across Pikes Peak. This is just the romantic getaway we were wanting, and it delivered. We are already planning our next stay. The host went out of her way to make it even more special for us. We highly recommend this gorgeous location.

The location of the residence was close to many of the attractions we wanted to see in the area. It was easy to get on and off the highway to get to the property. Very quiet neighborhood which we appreciated.
The "cabin" as we called it was clean and comfy; nice to come home to after a full day of sightseeing. We felt it was "just what the doctor ordered" for our family vacation.

We enjoyed this house because it is located in Cascade, which is right outside of busy Colorado Springs. My kids enjoyed watching the movies that were available and the nice little yard in front to play in. It was the perfect size for my family of 4. I will definitely book this place next time we come back!

What a great cabin! Everything we needed for our family vacation. The cabin was super comfy and had everything we needed. Location is great, it is away from busy areas but close enough to be anywhere around Colorado Springs within 20 minutes. Convenient groceries about 5-10 minutes west. Host was super and communicated very well with us. Will definitely try to stay here in the future.

We loved everything about the cabin. It is on a hill with a nice view of the mountains. Kitchen is stocked in case you forgot something. Easy access to manitou, pikes peak and other sites.
I have to mention that my husband was annoyed at all the notes around the house, but I thought they were fine and necessary. The only item I would like to see added is a garbage disposal in the kitchen.
I would not hesitate to rent this cabin again.

Communication with Jeanette was good through the entire process. The cabin was exactly as described. Well-stocked kitchen, TV had local stations and a DVD player w/ lots of movies. We arrived shortly after a snowstorm, and the neighborhood roads were plowed. The views on walks through the neighborhood were gorgeous!

Well furnished house in a quiet, safe neighborhood just minutes from Colorado Springs and Woodland Park. The location is the perfect balance of āoutside townā and close to the main attractions.
Beds/pillows are comfortable and clean (whole house was clean). While the house isnāt large, there was ample room for myself, wife and 3 kids. Has pack and play for small folks.
Kitchen has everything you need including 2 coffee makers, dishwasher - even crockpots!
The owner is very nice and down to earth. Enjoyed good communication and some local tips for eating and shopping.
There is a great restaurant called Wines of Colorado just a half mile downhill from the cabin that we enjoyed. Good food, drinks and outdoor patio. Ask for Garrett!
We will definitely stay here again.

Cute, cozy, cabin!
Our family loved Heisch's Haven. It was perfect for us and our three young girls. Tucked in a quiet neighborhood, but close enough to all the sights; cliff dwellings, hiking, Manitou Springs, Pikes Peak. Our girls loved the fenced in yard. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Attention is showed to all the details. Would definitely return!

The view of the mountain was very good. The house was very nice but had too many personal items. The written communication with the owner was redundant regarding cleaning before leaving. Notes were everywhere at the house.
