This family friendly lake house is on a large, peaceful cove of Lake LBJ in Granite Shoals, Texas. Lake LBJ is one of the largest constant level lakes in the U.S. and is ideal for water-skiing, jet-skiing, boating and fishing. The lake house is in a no wake zone in the cove which is great for swimming and docking boats and personal watercraft. Guests love the super-sized boat and fishing dock. The oversized dock has plenty of room for everyone and is the perfect spot for swimming, sunbathing, fishing, dancing, or just relaxing and enjoying the activity on the lake. The dock also has a water slide or you can have fun kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. Please bring your own life vest and lake towels. The water near the shore is shallow enough for smaller children to wade and gradually gets deeper.
You will enjoy the freshness and cleanliness of this home. It is kept in excellent condition. The kitchen comes completely equipped. All you need to bring are your food and drinks. The living room has a 50 inch TV and plenty of seating for everyone. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, a 32 inch TV and a DVD player. The second bedroom has two queen-sized beds and a TV. The third bedroom has 2 bunks, one with full-sized mattress on bottom. There is also a pack and play, a booster/highchair, movies, and games.
Great for girls trips, guys trips, family trips, reunions or any type of get away.
The house is 7 miles from Marble Falls. Marble Falls has great shopping and dining as well as HEB and Walmart. The house is across the lake from Horseshoe Bay.

We loved our stay! This house has a great backyard, lake access, dock slide, and is very clean! The kitchen has all the appliances you need for meals. Took grandkids (7, 11, 17) up to Lake LBJ for a few days. They all remember this house as “the catfish house”! Great location not far from Marble Falls, quiet cove, great dock for lounging & fishing, fire pit, plenty of space for kids to run and play and house was comfy with plenty of space for us 5. Seven year old granddaughter caught a 2lb catfish and was so excited. Homeowner was extremely nice and quick to answer back. Can’t wait to book again! Hudson Family

After spending a week this rental started to really feel like home. It was cozy and spacious enough for a family vacation that no one was in each others way or felt crowded. The pictures of the house itself did not do it justice. The location on the lake was awesome the cove was peaceful and quiet but a great place to stay away from the crowds on the weekend.
It wasn't clearly stated in the listing that boat lift and jet ski lifts weren't available to use when renting. We called the owner and she answered right away to help. The parking was a little tricky to figure out for a double jet ski trailer, pontoon boat trailer, truck, yukon xl and my parents car but it was figured out thankfully. We picked this house because we thought my 2 year old niece would be able to wade in the water but there was too much algae. I understand nature is nature though.
Overall the trip was fun and the entire family had a Great vacation!!

Clean, Clean was our major impression. Fully stocked kitchen, great pier and dock. The paddle boards and kayak were a great feature. The beds were comfortable and the hot water was abundant. TVs for football and movies worked well. We even caught a few fish! Great destination.

Excellent spot to get away!
The location of this lake house is absolutely perfect! The cove is calm quiet and huge!!! Plenty of room for boating, kayaking & SUPing! The fire pit is situated just right for watching the sunrise & enjoying the lake from morning til night! The dock is spacious with plenty of room for the fishermen & sunbathers to enjoy at the same time! You won’t be sorry that you chose this property!

Excellent location
We loved this place! The kids enjoyed the lake so much using the kayak and the paddle board. The property was very pleasant. Only complaint I would have is that it didn’t have much dishes like bowls to put dips in or such. Also, there were many spiderwebs everywhere outside on patio abs deck areas. Other than that, everything else was great.

16th birthday getaway
This property was great. It was compact and very cozy. Super clean. Kitchen was perfectly equipped. Plenty of towels for bathing. Bring your own lake towels. The girls loved use if the paddle boards and kayak. The water off the lake though is full of algae so they did not play volleyball or use the slide or swim near the dock. It is a very quiet area, lots of deer seen. Temperature in the home was good. The couch was so cozy and plenty of seating for everyone in the kitchen. The pictures don’t do this place justice. Note- the master has a king bed and private bathroom, a shared hall bathroom for a room with 2 queens & a room with 2 sets of bunk beds. Smart TVs in main room but not in master. We will definitely return.
And the area is great spot for tubing, away from the more crowded parts of the lake.

Sunbathing, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, playing, grilling, relaxing, etc. etc. etc. and if that was not enough, the property is conveniently located just few miles away from a friendly boat rentals and the gorgeous Inks Lake State Park and Longhorn Cavern State Park. So, there was everything for everyone in our group (my wife, myself, our 3 children 26, 16 and 5 plus a teenage friend). The house, the yard and the dock are very clean and well maintained. The neighbors were very quiet (in fact, we have not seen them at all for the 3+ days).Check in and check our procedures are very straight forward and easy to follow. The whole stay has been very pleasant and relaxing. Just what we need to recharge our batteries before going back to work and school.We highly recommend this property, it offers a great value for the money and delivers what we all are looking for in a family retreat.

Perfect location great amenities
Our family of 7 had a wonderful time at this clean well kept property. The owners are wonderful and the house is stocked with all necessities. There is an added bonus of a kayak and paddle boards. The deck and dock have amazing views and it is tucked into a cove with little traffic so using the kayak and paddle boards is quite pleasant.

Exceeded expectations
We had an amazing time at Chrissy's adorable lake house. The house is bigger than we thought based on the pictures. There was enough room for 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 infants. It's an older house but very clean and beautifully remodeled. The rooms are located right off the front door. The kids room to the right has 2 bunk beds versus 1. There are plenty of board games available. The house was fully stocked with basic necessities such as linens, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and cookware. We woke up every morning and drank our coffee on the dock, fished and watched the sunrise. Our days were spent swimming, kids sliding off the dock slide and kayaking in the provided kayak. We rented a boat for the day and they delivered it right to the dock. Evenings spent on the spacious back porch barbecuing, playing jenga and kids running in the yard. We enjoyed a nice glass of wine on the dock watching the sunset after the littles went to bed. Our last night was perfect with a campfire and s'mores. Gas stations and dollar store is less than 6 minutes away and Walmart or heb is about 10 minutes. Chrissy was a wonderful host and was pretty responsive to our needs and questions. She even let us use their personal tube for the boat. There was a washer issue and we couldn't figure out how to use the dining room light, but that did not matter at all. The house is equipped with central air conditioning and the rooms had their own window units in case you needed it cooled down faster. The master room A/C leaked on to the floor but we didn't end up needing it even in 95 degree weather. The house is in a quiet cove right off Lake LBJ, perfect for a much needed quarantine getaway. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and we will definitely be back. Thank you Chrissy for opening up your adorable lake house.

Nice small home in a quiet cove!
We enjoyed our stay in this home. It was quiet and peaceful, not a ton of boat traffic like in other places. The only negative with this property is the lack of parking. You have to park in the front yard and if you have a truck and boat trailer, it is hard to park it with room for any other cars.

Best lake house we have stayed in.
This lake house by far has been our favorite to vacation in. Excellent in so many ways. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable and family friendly. The back patio and Weber grill were perfect. The green grassy yard was great for the kids to run and play plus the fire pit was a hit! Hands down, the favorite part of our trip was the dock, stand up paddle boards and the fishing. We caught more than 20 catfish just off the dock. Fun times and can’t wait to return! Also, Chrissy (the host) was excellent to interact with! Thanks so much for allowing our family to enjoy your house.

Fun on the Lake!
For the last three summers, our family has rented around this area. The consensus is in...this was our favorite trip! The house was accommodating for our large family meet up, and the dock was perfect for fishing, swimming, and our watercraft rental. The deck was nice for sitting around while grilling in the evenings, and all of the neighbors (who we actually got to meet) were very friendly. We had a great time and would not hesitate to rent this property again in the future.

Awesome Lake Weekend
Driving to the property, the neighborhood didn't look that great. The house looked small from the outside, and I thought 7 ladies were going to be miserably cramped in this house. House was the PERFECT size! And there were mansions on the lakeside so I definitley felt better about the neighborliness. 7 girls fit just fine in there. As 25-30 year old girls, we had so much fun on the slide, the paddle boards, and kayaks. Lake was about 5' deep off the dock so perfect for just floating, hanging out, and having a good relaxing weekend by the lake.
BRING TOILET PAPER! There wasn't a lot left over from the previous. You don't want it to turn into an emergency like it did with us, but the house is 15 min from HEB which is nice.

Great lake house!
Loooooved our stay here! We all fit beautifully and although we spent most of our time outside on the deck and in the water. It was very hot (July in Texas) so the A/Cs weren’t cooling to everyone’s satisfaction but out of 10 people, only 2 had an issue with it. The kids enjoyed it so much and it was a great time for the adults as well! Highly recommend!

Beautiful house on an okay lake
Our family had a nice time at the house. The home is immaculate with a well stocked kitchen. The living room was comfortable for our group of seven. The owner was very responsive to the maintenance issues we had. There is a lovely back porch and the dock is very large and inviting.
Our one main complaint was the quality of the water. There was so much plant debris in the water that it made the shallow water really mucky and murky. This was a problem for our preschooler who just wanted to wade in the shallow water (not possible) and for the senior citizens who couldn’t climb down the ladder on the dock and therefore had to walk through the grossest part of the water. This property would be great for people who are bringing a boat and can get out on the water to enjoy the nicer parts of the lake. For our family, though, the poor water quality was a real let down.

TV not set for easy use. Need written instructions. No mirror in hall bath. No soap in master bath. No fan adjustment in master BR. Not enough washcloths. Insufficient spare TP.
Appliances all worked. Sufficient cooking material. Comfortable main room. Sitting on dock good. Basically ok but little things distracted. Owner very co-operative and accessible.
