Very nice place. I enjoyed it when I wasn’t at the drag strip.

Nicely appointed and comfortable property. As others have noted, access is a steep circular staircase - it wasn’t an issue for us, but something to consider if someone in your group has mobility issues. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for 1 week to be close to our family that lives in Gig Harbor for high school graduation. The trip was great and to stay at this property worked well for us. We have stayed here before and we may stay there again when we are in the area. Thank you so much!

This studio was perfect for our family. Gig Harbor is a very quiet town on the water and the studio was close to many amenities. Michelle was easy to communicate with and quick to respond if we needed anything. The studio was clean, inviting, and so comfortable. As a couple of other reviewers pointed out, you do not have water views, but the deck was very comfortable and if it hadn't been unseasonably warm while we were there, we would have definitely used the fire pit. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we loved it!

Great place to celebrate our 33rd anniversary. Gig Harbor is close by and the guest house was lovely. Everything was well done, nice amenities, and very comfortable. Thank you for a great stay!

My daughters and I so enjoyed our stay! The studio was comfortable for the 3 of us and our dog, and it's close to so much to do in and around Gig Harbor. The beds were comfortable, the small kitchen met our needs, and we loved the outdoor space. The May weekend was unseasonable HOT, so my redhead and husky both appreciated the window AC unit :-). Thanks Michelle for sharing your home!

This rental is just as beautiful as the pictures display. Located on a quiet dead end road, located on the water, makes this a serene stay. The beach theme is perfect. Clean and includes much of what you may need - dishes, coffee maker, tea, linens, towels, and washcloths. The balcony was a favorite for my girls and me, a place for us to relax at the end of the day and to sip coffee in the mornings. Kayaks are available for use on the bay (did not use, but a nice option).
Any messages sent to the owners were promptly answered. Check in and check out procedures were clear and easy.
Cannot say enough good things! Would definitely stay here again!

This property was okay for us but we will not stay again. We did not read clearly that the only entrance was a spiral staircase. As older people, this was not a good fit. There was plenty of room, good amenities and great welcome snacks and chardonnay. The unit was 84 degrees when we arrived and we struggled to get it to cool down or not feel damp our entire stay. Maybe that is just Seattle area for you! The waterfront view was stunning each morning. Very beautiful. The main drawback of this space was the amount of construction, road repair, early morning noise from landscaping and cleaning. It wasn't a quiet location. Overall, this was a good place but not great for us.

This sweet studio was perfect for our family of 3. We were also excited to bring along our doggo too! Loved the back patio as it was spacious and a relaxing area to hang. We appreciated all of the accommodations provided and had a lovely time!

Overall the property was great. We were disappointed to learn that the entire property was rental and that we would have to compete with amenities listed as "reserved for us", like the firepit and lower deck. There was a large party at the main house and there were upset with us for using space we were told was exclusively reserved for the beach house. It honestly felt like we were the low man on the totem pole, fighting for space.

Great Gig Harbor Stay
This place is great. Proximity to Gig Harbor / Tacoma is excellent with the downtowns of each being roughly a 10 minute drive away. The neighborhood this place is in is great too, as you are a 30 second walk away from the water. As a family of four with a 6 and a 9 year old kid, we really liked this place. Of note: the unit itself is accessed via a spiral staircase. If you have super small kids who are just learning to walk or you are much older or you just don't like stairs, then I would say this place is likely not a great fit.
Besides that, we would highly recommend it!

Just whjat we were looking for
We were impressed with almost everything, from start to finish. We were greeted by the staff with a friendly and professional attitude. Upon entering the room (studio) we found the atmosphere to be warm and welcoming; classy (except the walls need a paint touch-up) yet relaxing, with jazz music and soft candles.
The beds and chairs/couches were comfy; plenty of space for us to cuddle up or spread out. We appreciated to treats and bottle of wine that awaited us. The little kitchen area was fine for us in the food preparation we did . The weird little corkscrew came apart when I 'used it, so jury-rigged a solution (needs replacing?).
At night it was quiet, with fairly easy access to the waterfront (could use a tidying up- a lot of "stuff" just laying around at the entrance to the main house an the front terrace). Beautiful views- a peaceful place to sit and let the grand daughter throw rocks to her heart's content.
The trip to Gig Harbor is easy (their directions were good). It was a great jumping off place, opnce we had eplored historic downtown, for a day trip to Poulsbo. We reaally felt like we had a get-away!. Thanks

Traveled for a family wedding
Very cozy and comfortable. Great quiet location. Downtown Gig Harbor was 10 minutes away, awesome number of great shops and restaurants. Studio has plenty of hand soap, toilet paper, dishes, and paper towels that we did not have to go purchase.

Our family enjoyed our time at this home so much. The beach area was beautiful and the kids loved kayaking and playing on the huge slide!

My 12 year old daughter and her friend had a great time playing in the water with kayaks, inflatable slide, and trampoline. Fold down couches were comfy with memory foam toppers. Little kitchenette was just what we needed, and we enjoyed the snacks and bottle of wine provided. Everything was as pictured. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you.

Fantastic Property!
This is a beautiful property in a beautiful area! Very clean and comfortable. Many thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. Accommodated 3 adults perfectly and a 4th would have fit as well. Very appreciative of washer & dryer use as we had already spent several days in the Seattle and North coast areas. Hosts are wonderful. Great patio area, kayaks, and inflated water slide for use. We kayaked just in the bay and saw much wildlife including a seal who swam along with us. Easy drive into Gig Harbor and Tacoma.

Comfortable stylish studio, No waterfront view
We made the best of our situation, and had good "family time" together in a peaceful, clean studio that was a comfortable place for the 4 of us.
Initially, we were dismayed... Based on the posted photos, we thought we rented a place on the waterfront with a view of the water (on top of a house sharing a waterview), but the studio was actually behind a house, so might as well be across the street/a block away from water and cost less to rent. We walked into the studio with 3 large/family-size pizzas to bake later, but the fridge was tiny and the toaster oven even smaller, so we had to grill the pizzas immediately. There was a grill fire, because the BBQ grill was not cleaned, so 2 of our pizzas were burned. We informed the host who offered to come clean the grill, but we decided to clean it ourselves so we could get the third pizza done. With the summer sunshine, the studio was very hot and uncomfortable when we arrived, so we shut all of the window blinds and turned on the window A/C unit, which worked fine for a comfortable night of sleep. The studio was clean and stylish; the bed and 2 Futons (with mattress tops) were comfortable. We liked having access to a second bathroom in the laundry room; we liked the waterfront lounge chairs with large umbrella and fire pit; we liked having the 3 of 4 kayaks available to use; and we liked the big inflatable water slide with trampoline.

Great spot in Gig Harbor!
Exactly as pictured- we totally enjoyed our time here.
Great location for water enthusiasts - beautiful views, perfect for paddle boarding and kayaking, fun water toys for the young or just young at heart!
Easy drive to Gig Harbor restaurants and summer events. Don’t miss the Tuesday evening music in the park -right on the waterfront. Some fantastic parks nearby for easy scenic hikes: McCormick Forest Park, Cushman Powerline trail, Kopachuck SP, -and our favorite Sehmel Homestead Park.
The owner, Michelle is super nice and responds quickly.

This place is a GEM!
We had the best week's stay in this sweet studio. The location was so peaceful and quiet, you felt like you were worlds away! We loved the back patio, the waterfront and use of water toys. If we needed anything, the host was quick to respond and resolve. I would absolutely stay here again!

A gem
Everything (including the weather) exceeded our expectations. The studio had everything we needed. We used both fold down beds which were comfortable with the provided mattress covers. The owners could not have been nicer, and the waterfront location was spectacular. Thank you!

Lovely girls weekend getaway!
This was such a beautiful spot to have a night away with some friends. We loved the fire pit (don’t forget to bring wood!) and kayaks. It was such a pretty sunset and we loved getting to be on the water. Like others have said, I also had assumed the water views were from the patio, but they were not. The view from the patio was a driveway and to get to the water is a walk around the main house. The BBQ was also great, and because the kitchen is so small I would recommend bringing something to grill rather than trying to cook a big meal in the kitchen.
The studio is very close to the main house, but for the most part we didn’t see the hosts going in/out so it wasn’t a big deal. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay here!!

Great getaway!
Stayed here for a girls weekend. Great location and was exactly as it looks on the listing. Fire pit is great--remember to bring fire starter and wood. Beds were super comfy! It was a quiet neighborhood with an awesome view of the water! Would definitely stay here again.

WOWZER!!! PERFECT BAY GETAWAY
What a great perfect getaway! This property was our first time experiencing and I can’t say anything bad about it. Emily is a great host, she not only got our space ready with yummy treats and a nice bottle wine but she also communicated with me every time I had a question. The beach/lake is located BEHIND the studio. Kayaks/standup paddle boards are included in the stay! (We wish we had another day to do more kayaking) water was just perfect. This property also provides life safety jackets (kids/small-Xl adults) my wife was super happy with this surprise getaway! Parking is across the home. There’s also a cute sign for your parking spot! (1vehicle though) The home is equipped with everything you need! Pots, pans, condiments, toiletries, towels etc! There’s also a huge grill located outside the lanai comes with propane tanks and a lot of seating! Literally just bring your food! Bed was super comfy, keep in mind the slant ceiling near the bed wifey bang her head but she’s ok hahaha we were laughing! The owners leave you a key just in case you go off property! Who doesn’t love AC! Yes this home has that and cute ceiling fan, huge skylight windows! Small downfall is the spiral stairs please be careful going up/down. Home has Hot water for shower and deep sinks for washing dishes! And... PET FRIENDLY!! Overall experience was excellent! Thanks Emily for taking care of us!

Relaxing Christmas-time getaway.
My daughter and I take an annual Christmas-time vacation each year just before Christmas to relax, craft, laugh, cook, shop, decorate a mini-tree, and go on walks. We were able to that and more.
The studio is clean, organized and has most needed amenities. We had a great time.

Relaxing on the waterfront.
The property was perfect for our purposes. We stayed a few days to relax at the end of our trip to Washington. We booked because of the nice accommodations, and because we loved that we could use the waterfront at our leisure. We had so much fun on the kayaks watching the seals.
