We had an absolutely fantastic vacation here. Farnaz was communicative and a pleasure to deal with. The house itself is stunning, the property is beautifully landscaped, and the furniture and decor are comfortable and feel luxurious.
The pool is larger than it looks in photographs and the screened in porch is a dream. The location is convenient, close to the bay beaches without being too buggy and a short drive to Amagansett for those wanting to go into town or swing by the ocean beaches.
Will definitely be rebooking!

Beautiful pool and uniquely designed interior! My kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool! Our stay was very nice! The pool was amazing, master bedroom has a cozy unique feature, feels warm and inviting. For summer months, I think it would be wise to spray the property for mosquitoes. That was the only issue for us. Otherwise great stay!

This was our second stay at this terrific house. What a lovely, serene, comfortable property!

I’m can’t say enough good things about this lovely house. It’s comfortable, incredibly clean and well maintained, and is super charming — very design-forward and stylish. There are gorgeous details everywhere — from the high-end sheets and towels to the baskets and beads hanging from the walls to the baskets of towels for the beach or pool. And the pool!! The whole property is beautifully designed and considered. The pool itself is lovely and the same goes for the lounge chairs and the hammocks and the fire pit…I could go on. On top of this I found the owners to be very solicitous and responsive. We would go back in a heartbeat — what a special rental.

Our stay at this amazing retreat was fantastic!!!
We absolutely loved it! My wife, our 3 kids and I spent 2.5 weeks at Farnaz' house in Springs this summer and it was fantastic. The house and garden are so beautifully designed and furnished - it looks even better than in the pictures. Everything is super clean, perfectly stacked kitchen and supplies with everything you need. Also the location is wonderful with only 10 minutes drive to Amagansett, its beach, or East Hampton. I can highly recommend it and we would love to come back! Thank you, Farnaz!

Perfect, peaceful refuge
We've stayed at a lot of VRBOs and this was probably the most successful one we have ever had. First, the house is comfortable, and an interesting combination of elegant design with rustic touches. There was absolutely nothing frumpy or rundown in the house -- the beds had beautiful linens, the towels were Turkish foutas, and the kitchen was well-stocked (and everything was even labeled). About nine times out of ten when we stay at VRBOs there is only one knife (and not a good one at that) and a dearth of important kitchen tools like a garlic press, barbecue tools, etc. This was not the case at this house! In fact, they had a plethora of high-end Henckels knives, which really makes a difference when you're cooking. The kitchen is set up how you would want your own kitchen -- not like a typical rental.
The real gem of the home, however, is the yard and the pool. We had sought out a house with a large fenced yard because we have an elderly dog and wanted to give him a nice summer away from the city. We could not have been more pleased: the house was well fenced and gated, the yard was large and beautiful, with a wild (yet accessible) feel, and the pool was soooo nice. It is heated, which makes a HUGE difference for me since most pools are too cold for me. I spent many hours each day just floating around in the pool, watching all of the birds who came to eat at the feeders. The pool is very well managed and does not have a strong chlorine smell and did not make our eyes red. We also ate most of our meals in the screened porch, so we actually didn't spend that much time *inside* the house.
In the evenings, we watched movies, as the house has several movie services connected (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.) for free movies or rentals.
The house is located in the Springs, which is Northwest of East Hampton. It was wooded, yet didn't feel isolated (there are neighbors), and was about a 10-15 minute drive from towns (Amagansett, East Hampton, Sag Harbor) and farmstands. It's tricky to go to the beach in the East Hampton area -- I wish I had figured out in advance how to get a beach permit (though we spent most of our time in the pool), so that would be worth looking into.
Last but not least, the owner, Farnaz, was lovely to deal with. She responded to all of my emails, was kind and considerate, and made it easy for us to arrange things like cleaning service, trash removal, etc.
In sum: We loved it.

Happy Easter!
We had a wonderful extended Easter weekend stay! The location is perfect (also) for this time of the year since we could use the fireplace in the evening and all the outdoor amenities during the day. The house is cosy, spacious and truely a design lovers place with a warm atmosphere. Wonderful open kitchen and outdoor grill! It is close to the beaches & sights and yet remotely located in the woods. We will come back....

Artist's haven
My wife and I love this place so much this is our third winter retreat here. It is the globally styled warm interior with its fireplace and the amenities of a home, that make for such a cozy retreat. A five minute drive and we are on any number of beach and bay vista's with their Odd Nerdrum landscapes, that invigorate the whole experience. The imaginatively landscaped garden invite a number of outdoor meditative escapes or places to gather to entertain and dine. We are looking forward to a summer rental, to soak up this enchanted retreat.

Cozy and lovely oasis in the East Hampton
We just spent a little over a week at this property. We cannot say enough nice things about the house and the landscaping and the hosts. We concur with everything everyone else has written. The hosts were available to answer any questions. The house was extremely clean and organized. There is an attention to detail that makes everything go smoothly and easy. This is much appreciated on a holiday when free time is precious. All the necessary summer necessities are provided: beach chairs, umbrella, gas grill, heated pool pool toys, 2 bikes, cozy beds, great TV and cable selection, etc. The appliances seemed practically new. The pool is not large, but it was plenty big for our kids to jump in, swim, play, and have fun. The best part is that it was easy to heat and thus we used it a lot more often than pools at other rentals in the past. There was a fire pit which was great and we were able to use to make s'mores at night and listen to the crickets. Things city kids don't get to do often. The location is great in the Springs and near Gardiner's Bay where our son went fishing practically every morning. I would definitely recommend for a family with kids. Or even two couples. If only we had more free time we'd return again soon.

Highly Recommend
Really beautiful location, property, and pool! Comfortable furniture throughout the house (uses only green products (a plus). Spotlessly clean, kitchen, screened porch with dining table and grill made it such an enjoyable stay. Less than a mile from the Springs Country Store for kayaking on Gardiner's Bay...

Gorgeous property, lovely accommodations, exquisite taste
The hosts were perfect. Their attention to detail is clearly inspired by seasoned veterans...from the perfectly poised hammock and trees to the state of the art pool side bed (mattresses) to the indoor / outdoor space to play, eat, gather...The house is lovely and inviting, extremely organized and thoughtful in every way (from kitchen drawers to fire place). You can see that professionals designed the house and struck the perfect balance of intuitive comfort and sleek design with unique touches throughout the home. The two story layout is very convenient for multiple guests and is set upon an expansive property which has a quirky front and back garden (with a little grassy hill - which my three year old loved) and lots of play areas from the luxury barbecue area to the campfire circle with real tree trucks to the totally new and modern stunning WARM SWIMMING POOL and pool beds...set within a spacious lawn / forest of trees that is clearly landscape designed to support both parties, and privacy, relaxation and adventures. The master bedroom is huge with tons of light and windows and the guest rooms are a good size with ample closet space. They did not skimp on the best comforters, pillows and we even noticed the first rate mattresses. Honestly we were just blown away by the attention to every detail. The hosts were also a highly responsive couple and very accommodating. They replied immediately to all our questions and inquiries. We were beyond delighted with their exquisite home and their gracious etiquette and exceptional service and attention to detail. Many thanks.

Summer Perfect
This house is a charming renovated cabin/barn feeling, relaxed, cozy and big enough to be with family, indoor or great outdoor spaces for cooking on the grill or swim at the pool all day. We loved mornings and afternoons being in this forest like nature also biking to the bay and a short drive to town. The two times my family of 6 have rented this house our holidays have been what we wanted, the perfect choice.

Beautiful Time
I took the house, so I can have my family around for 2 weeks and we had a delightful time. The house has a wonderful swimming pool and garden and during our stay, the flowers were still blossoming in various parts of the garden. The screen porch has a dinning room making it real easy to be inside or outside, watch the kids in the pool.
The house itself is charming and very tastefully done. It is a comfortable house, with everything we needed. We love cooking and the house has a new Stove and Fridge and all the equipment and very nice barbeque. The rooms, are very well dressed, the linens are very good quality. This is a house, that someone cares about. There is a large master bedroom which is very loft like and the other two rooms although by comparison smaller, were very comfortable and nice light and air. The Host, left us very good instructions. The cleaning service was brilliant and I did not feel like I had a lot of house chores to do.
We loved the place and hope to return again, maybe winter! As it has a fireplace we did not use.

Perfect Hamptons Escape
My husband and I have rented this charming cabin multiple times through all seasons and it's perfect every time. Especially in the Summer the amazing modern poolside area is secluded and drenched in sun. The outdoor space that surrounds the pool is meticulously landscaped but also blends in to the nature around the house.
The interior is cozy with Scandinavian sensibility, stylishly appointed decor with a very well equipped kitchen, perfect for a family cookout or just a romantic dinner.
The house is super close to the most picturesque bay as well as a quick drive to both East Hampton or Sag Harbour.

Christmas well spent
This was an excellent getaway for my family and I, all 8 of us were well accommodates for and with two full baths we all managed well and still had hot water to spare. The fireplace was terrific with plenty of firewood. The location is perfect for both beach and into town as we enjoyed both venues. There's a good size pool which we just have to take advantage for our next visit during the summer. Overall we hav a terrific time!
