About this house rental
Uniquely located less than one mile from the entrance of Olympic National Park, your cabin is sitting amongst the cedars and legendary Douglas firs. Take pleasure in the unparalleled views of the Hurricane Ridge Mountains overlooking Lake Dawn as you discover the definition of God’s country. The breathtaking vistas and tranquil surroundings are reserved only for the guests of this spectacular mountain haven. You, your family and friends will be captivated by the scenery and find yourselves immediately at peace.
Nestled on the secluded Lake Dawn's hill side, our home offers a romantic oasis for couples or the perfect retreat for families. Relax on the spacious, green-surrounded deck and unwind while enjoying the scenery and listening to the melodious harmony of the chattering birds in the woods. Deers are common in your front yard; black bears, cougars, bobcats, and coyotes are occasional visitors. The loudest noise in the winter is snow falling off the roof top and the brightest lights during the summer are the Milky Way winding across the night sky. If you are in the mood for an outdoor adventure, bring your family and friends along as you set foot on the trails that lead deep into the heart of the world renowned moss hanging forest!
Our home is located at 1800' elevation in the mountains and would be easily accessible by automobiles. There is ample parking space for cars and trucks on the higher and lower level parking or by the roadside.
The cabin provides for the demands of the discerning traveler - everything is carefully handcrafted and meticulously detailed.
Downstairs, the open plan with vaulted ceilings feels very roomy and open to nature while also being cozy. There is a kitchen well equipped with cooking amenities plus electric range, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. You will find the sufficient need in this kitchen and throughout the home: plenty of glassware, cookware, small appliances, spices, basic condiments, all paper products, detergents, dryer sheets, etc. The living room is interior designer's dreamwork for a rustic yet elegant cabin. The carefully selected furniture with beautifully matching paintings and art decor on the wall reflect the ambiance of wilderness and rugged beauty. There is a Smart TV with WIFI for watching shows, Netflix, etc. , and DVD player and movie library for your entertainment plus books for your laid-back enjoyment. Each room is heated during the winter time with a user friendly Pic-a-Watt heater that you may adjust room temperature as you wish. The two downstairs bedrooms are both equipped with queen beds and comfortable mattresses to rest on. The blinds are set for night time privacy and open to let in first ray of Olympic sunshine and you can view the Hurricane Ridge mountain tops right from your bed! There is one bathroom in the house, which is also located on the first floor, furnished with all bath tub, sink countertop and toilet designed both for their charm and practical use.
Upstairs features a spacious loft with a twin/full bunkbed plus a futon bed for extended family stay or fun for children. The large windows are designed for receiving a panoramic view of the natural beauty of this enchanted forest.
The laundry room is behind the master bedroom with its own access door. It has a broad folding table and spacious shelves for ironing and storage. A large capacity washer and dryer are ideal for family and friends' laundry use.
From the renowned lavender fields and lighthouse in Sequim, to the "Twilight" tours and moss-covered Hoh Rain Forest in Forks, from the iconic La Push beach pine and rock formations to the romantic excursion to Victoria, there are more tourist possibilities than you will have time for. In any event, our goal is to simply knock your boots off with our incomparable location, exceptional facility quality and personable service to the last details.

Great cute cabin. Very clean and well maintained. Plenty of comfortable beds, full kitchen and hot water. Grocery store nearby and right next to the Olympic National Park mountain entrance.

The cabin fit our family of 6 well. It was a great location to visit Hurricane Ridge and the Port Townsend area.

This cabin has a nice private location in the woods. Close to Olympic National Park and not to far from Port Angeles. The cabin has quite a few beds but not a lot of living space. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Nice setting.
The living room furniture was not very comfortable.

Absolutely wonderful property! Awesome location with complete privacy. Owners have many custom rustic furniture items such as beautiful natural wood slab on stump like base.
Gorgeous lot on hillside with beautiful trees.
Really a completely cool place!

Everything was well stocked, beds were comfortable, close to Port Angeles and very close to park entrance in a sweet little rural neighborhood.
Would love to stay here again!

This cabin was the perfect place for us! My 10 and 12 year olds loved the loft and my mom is mobility challenged so she loved the bedroom and bathroom on the main floor. Everything was clean and easy to find and use. The kitchen had every appliance and utensil that we needed as well as some condiments. There is WiFi. It was a great homebase for us to explore Olympic National Park. We were able to visit many places in the northern part of the park that were just a short drive from the cabin.
4.9
It was convenient and easy access to everything. Had all amenities you need.

We were greeted by a single deer in the meadow, just like the photo in the listing. The beds were very comfortable. We cooked all of our meals and the kitchen was well equipped. It is located in a private neighborhood and was easy to go into Port Angeles or to go to Hurricane Ridge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Family had a great experience here. Proximity to Hurricane Ridge made a big difference while the park entrance allows only limited traffic. Easy check-in and -out process and friendly owner. Would have loved to stay longer.

Our family felt blessed to stay in this clean, quiet and comfortable cabin. High ceilings and lots of windows, oversized furniture and comfortable beds are in spacious rooms with a rustic decor that adds to the enchantment. The owners generously leave all the soap, shampoo and paper products you will need, along with laundry supplies. It’s close to the Hurricane Ridge entrance and it was a great base for that side of the park. We highly recommend this property!

We loved our stay at Enchanted Forest Cabin! It was a beautiful property with easy and flexible check in and out. It could not have been in a better location as our goal was to explore Olympic National Park. We would recommend Enchanted Forest Cabin to any groups looking to keep colors the area.

We had such a wonderful stay. It was a great central base camp for all the activities we wanted to do. We were able to spread out and have our own space. Can't wait to book again when we go back to Washington.

We stayed here with our kids (19,18,16) and had an amazing time. We picked the location for the easy access to Hurricane Ridge, which was closed due to a fire at the lodge. Even with that disappointment, we loved staying here. So peaceful and quiet. We loved returning after exploring each day. Would definitely stay here again. Carl was very communicative!

Immediate access to Olympic National Park. Hurricane ridge rd is temporarily closed due to a fire🔥. Check park website to confirm re opening. Short drive to port Angeles. Overall the cabin was great for our family. Zero complaints!

We (four adults) enjoyed our time at the cabin. The kitchen space is small, but we didn't want to cook so the space was adequate for our five days/four nights. The beds were comfortable. We spent several late afternoons/early evenings on the deck which was very relaxing. The wifi speed was average/okay - one of us had to work one of the days and the speed was okay with no one else in the house sharing the wifi. The location is 10 minutes from Port Angeles and provides great access to ONP. Unfortunately the access to Hurricane Ridge was closed when we were there, but we enjoyed the drive to other ONP entry points. We would definitely stay at the house again if the Hurricane Ridge access to ONP is open.

Clean, scenic, comfortable and quiet place to stay right off Olympic National Park‘s Hurricane Ridge Road. I generally don’t like dealing with third party property management companies when booking a VRBO, but this was a very positive experience. Our only disappointment with this property was that Hurricane Ridge Road was closed for repairs during our visit. We will have to come back when it reopens and stay here again.

Cozy home base cabin to Olympic NP, literally at the gates! Saw family of deers in the front yard everyday! Cabin has well equipped kitchen to cook meals, enough room for 6 easy w one stocked bathroom. Quick drive to Port Angeles to enjoy restaurants, bars and beach. Although it’s a drive, it was easy to get to Hoh rainforest and Seattle airport. Only wish was for a jacuzzi to enjoy under the stars! Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us!

I recently rented this place for a weekend visiting Olympic National Park with four friends. The location is unbelievable. On the way there it feels like you are already driving through the park itself - and technically, I believe you are - but all of a sudden there is a road leading off to the right where you will find this place and several others. I couldn't tell from the photos, but there ARE a couple of other neighboring residences. It is not completely isolated.
Our building itself was well-kept and clean, check-in/check-out was easy, and the property manager was responsive when I had a couple questions before check in. My only small gripe is that the outdoor deck around the place is quite slippery when wet, I think due to the stain/paint used. My friends and I almost slipped a couple times while walking on the deck between the main building and the trash/laundry room.
I really can't say enough about the location. The property has beautiful views of the forest and a sliver of a view up to the mountains.
Overall, this was perfect for our needs and I would definitely rent this property again, or another one from this property manager.

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s quiet, cozy and comfortable. The location is ideal for enthusiasts of Olympic National Park. It is close to Port Angeles but still feels like a remote cabin in the woods with a view. All necessities are provided. The bed and living room furniture was comfortable.

We really enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was extremely peaceful and quiet. The location was perfect. We hiked Hurricane Hill, visited Lake Crescent and walked to Devils Punch bowl, visited Dungeness Wilderness Area, Washington Lavender Farm, a winery, and many restaurants and shops in Port Angeles. All were within 20 to 30 minutes away. Also, it was so nice to have a washer and dryer at the cabin.

Loves staying here - 3 adults and a toddler stayed very comfortably! Upper level was excellent for our toddler to sleep and as a playroom. Would definitely stay again!
