The house was wonderful lots of space for a large family.Very clean ,nice pool and hot tub with a deck that overlooks to the lake Cumberland it has a nice spot to park a boat at top of property. I would stay there again nice quiet place very peaceful to enjoy family time

11 forever friends spent a weekend on Lake Cumberland. House was perfect!! Check in was easy, house was perfect location, everything we needed! David was very helpful with Wi-Fi, pool was refreshing with lots of rafts and towels. We will definitely be back!

Thank you for the hospitality and easy and flexible check-in. All worked out well and we enjoyed our stay more then we thought we would. I would recommend the property to all my friends who want a chilled getaway or get-togethers.

A place where families can be together. We couldn’t enjoy the outdoors much. The red wasps had taken over. Couldn’t get in hot tub or enjoy the deck due to wasps. We also uncounted mice. Purchased some traps!!

Our long weekend was perfect! We had everything we needed to make big meals for our 3 familys and there were accommodations for everyone. The lake view is amazing along with all of the outdoor space to keep everyone entertained. We will definitely return next year.

We really enjoyed our stay, driveway is steep but manageable, no lake access. Kitchen was very well stocked, enough room for whole family. Great view of the lake.

We had an absolute blast! Hands down one of the best family vacations we've been on! The View! The View of the lake brought so much peace to all of us - this hard working family was so blessed! The pool was incredible and the hot tub was visited morning and night (light vibes were amazing)! We brought our canoe and kayaks and were out on the lake fishing mornings and evenings. The house is beautiful and set up perfectly / 3 floors for 3 couples, privacy was perfect! We grilled outside and stayed in for meals, who wants to leave this paradise? Absolutely wonderful summer vacation! One for the memory books for sure!

The area is nice and cozy. Great little place. Went with family and it was big enough for everyone to have a place to hang out. The deck and view is perfect and the basement has a shuffle board and other recreations for the kids. And wife approved with a huge tub in the master overlooking the lake.

Had a good week at the lake despite some rain. This home is big with plenty of indoor and outdoor space, but is very outdated. It is not equipped as a cook’s kitchen lacking necessary items for cooking meals. Has all the basics. Driveway is very steep and difficult to maneuver boat with trailer at top of driveway.

Was a great house for a long weekend close to everything but still off the beaten path. My uncles and I enjoyed our time. Fire pit was great for late night conversations, the hot tub was good for relaxing our legs after a hike in the national forest nearby. The view from the back deck was superb. Overall great home to stay in space enough for all of us and the beds were comfy. Basement is noticably colder than the rest of the house but worked out for me as I prefer colder temps for sleeping. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful mom’s weekend at the cabin! The location was beautiful and the cabin offered exactly what we needed. The only scary thing is getting in/out of the steep driveway! But we made it!

The house was great!!! The view was beautiful! The hot tub was the perfect addition to a cold white weekend!! Def want to stay here again! Dave’s communication was easy and with quick responses! He also let us check out 45 min late due to the snow and didn’t charge us. Thank you, Dave!

We had a wonderful Christmas Holiday getaway. The house was just as advertised very well equipped the teens had a great time in the game room and everyone loved the nightly shuffleboard tourneys we had. Very close to Somerset for a quick run to town for lunch or supplies. We enjoyed the hot tub nightly. Would definitely rent again.

House was more than spacious enough for four couples. Beautiful view of the lake but secluded. Ample parking for multiple trucks and trailers although the driveway was steeper than thought. The owner communicated quickly and was more than accommodating. Would stay there again for sure!!

House was as described and everything worked perfectly. The view was amazing, and we enjoyed having bedrooms spread out over 3 floors. That and the 2 living spaces worked really well for our family vacation and gave us some space to spread out. There is actually an en-suite bathroom on the first floor. That was unclear in the listing, but a happy surprise. Only issue was the need for an exterminator to come out. We saw several roaches in the house every day despite our efforts to keep all food put up.

The owner communicated well and was courteous with check in and check out. Most of the other reviews were spot on. The property was clean and as listed. Be aware of the steep slope in case you have a vehicle that won’t like that. My truck was fine, but I could see that presenting as challenge for some. There is a flat area by the road. The property is ready for some maintenance on the deck, tub, basement carpet, etc. but nothing was too much of an issue. House is better suited for older kids or adults with the stair situation (no rails). Nice view and nice time. Thanks!

Relaxing weekend getaway!

Met up with family for a long weekend to relax and just get a change of scenery. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials and the house had plenty of toilet paper and towels. Plenty of room for two families of 4, smart TVs were great, and kids enjoyed the games in the basement. We also really enjoyed the fire pit (BYO chairs!). Beautiful lake views and calm and quiet property. Would stay again!

Great home with an amazing view. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the greatest for us (cold and cloudy), but we still enjoyed the hot tub over looking the lake and even saw two bald eagles fly by! Our kids LOVED the games downstairs while my husband and I enjoyed sitting in the main room with the fireplace on reading and enjoying the view of the lake. We drove 20 minutes to the Natural Arch and kids loved the quick hike and beautiful views! We didn't do much else as it was meant to be a getaway of relaxing and doing nothing, but I can only imagine how great it is in the summer! The beds were incredibly comfortable and love that the house is stocked with just about anything you could need! Only thing I couldn't find was a hairdryer, but wasn't a big deal -- just let my hair air dry. We had a mix up with the dates (my fault) and David was very responsive and accommodating -- had a great stay and look forward to returning in the summer!

My family enjoyed our stay at this spacious A-frame. It afforded the five adults room to spread out and work remotely while enjoying the beautiful view from the living room and other rooms. The hill can be a challenge after it rains but it is doable.
