Nice clean home, quiet neighborhood. Love that there were games and toys for grandkids!

I enjoyed the convenience of nearby Calumet and close to Houghton. It’s very nice and the host is responsible. Good choice

House had plenty of room and was comfortable. Typical cottage with wolf pictures and lots of chairs and couches in the living room. We appreciated the kitchen with utensils and pots and pans. Bed in main bedroom had a bit of sag in middle but was fine. Only complaint was that card that identified user name and password didn’t work. The host told us they had to leave work to reboot it and that it was a problem with our computers or cell phones. We got one of the WiFi options to work after it was rebooted.

Clean, comfortable bed, and very well located. This place was perfect for fall, color tour of the Keweenaw.

I would recommend this home, unless you're unable to climb stairs. Lots of stairs. The mother in law fell twice going up. An older home isn't up to code on those small things we take for granted. Other than that, it was great.

Well stocked kitchen and accommodating host. Narrow/steep stairs to the second floor with the only bathroom but pretty typical for the older mining era houses in the area.
Would stay again.

Plenty of space in the charming house. The host even took the time to get to know my son. Loved the town and the Quincy Mine.

Three kids and hubby. Kids loved the separate bedrooms where they could hang out. Loved the decor and very responsive host. If they will have us, we'd love to come again.

The place was clean and comfortable with the owner easily accessible. The only downside is the arrangement of the bedrooms and bathroom. You have to walk through either the bathroom or another bedroom to reach the back bedroom. It is awkward for 2 couples at times.

Loved our stay! Will definitely rent again if its available

Thesera was at the property when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful. The property was pretty much as listed. It was clean and fit our needs as we stayed in the area.

This was a good fit for our family, just 3 adults visiting other family that live in Laurium.

The experience was nothing short of absolute hell. Huge infestation of bed bugs, and were not the only ones as there was many parties before us with same experience. Nothing was ever disclosed about this issue all 3 of our kids were covered in bites. Only stayed 1 night of 4 and was still charged and harassed for payment

Easy to find, clean and comfy. Had one bedroom that was off limits but there were only two of us so it wasn't a deal breaker. Would stay again.

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed our time there. The bedroom was fine, and the kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. One thing that could be added would be a hard copy list of the cable channels. The house is a short drive from the Swedetown ski trails, which are the main attraction for us in Calumet.

The VRBO software messed up the transaction details, but Theresa was very good at communicating/working thru this with me. The place was well kept, and centrally located on the peninsula. The snow was great

Very clean, well cared for home. Lots of attention to details, and a true desire to be a great host(ess) is evident. Great place to stay! Felt like we were visiting friends or family.

No complaints at all. The place was perfect for the amount of people we had and our host was extremely responsive.

Cozy little home.

Cute little place to stay.

There were bed bugs in one of the mattresses. The host refused to acknowledge the problem. At first she told us we would receive a total refund but changed her mind. I would not rent this house since the infestation has not been dealt with.

A very nice property within walking distance to Calumet. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and host was a very good communicator. The house was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Ms. Trese met us, showed us around the property, told us about local attractions-we felt right at home! Bedrooms upstairs comfortable, great cool breeze at night, very quiet and birds to wake us up to in the nearby woods. Want to come back! So much to see and do, 3 days not enough!

Theresa was a great host. The place was great for our small party of two couples. The listing was accurate

Nice house however stairs.
it's a pretty old house. The kitchen is nice, large fridge. All the things you need for coffee in the morning. Lots of pans, dishes. Room to sit in the dining room, living room, Two bedrooms with queen sized beds, one room with bunk beds and a futon. Lots of towels in the one bathroom. Only draw back are the stairs and the one bathroom that are up the stairs. Since it's an old house, the stairs are old fashioned narrow stairs. Not an issue for half of our group, an issue for the older ones with bad knees. Otherwise. nice place to stay.

Host very accessible but gives you your privacy. This place was a great location for day trips. Great tips from hosts to make our wishes for nature hikes and nature, especially birding. This place delivered!
