About this house rental
This mid-century modern house, built in 1950, was designed by an architect whose work was influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright, as can be seen in the walls of windows, large, stone fireplace and efforts he took to ensure the house blends into the woods.
Its two bedroom/bathroom suites are located at separate ends of this 2,500-square-foot house, which sits atop a steep, heavily wooded hill overlooking Memorial Park in the Buckhead section of Atlanta, five miles north of the center of the city.
The third bedroom is tiny; it contains a queen bed and is located in what was originally a lavish dressing room adjacent to the master.
Each of the large bedrooms has a large television and a subscription to YouTube TV.
One of the bedrooms has a king-sized bed; the other two have queen-sized beds. The wifi is 1 gigabit fiber.
The central part of the house includes a sunken living room, which is lined by a wall of windows overlooking the park. It contains a concert grand piano that is kept in tune. The house also includes a sunken dining room, a breakfast nook, an office, a kitchen stocked with high-quality cookware and a laundry room.
Not available for parties without owner's prior permission. Check-in is at 4 p.m.; checkout is at 11 a.m. Prospective guests must have received several positive reviews from prior VRBO hosts to be considered. Minimum 30 days' stay required. Note that a property manager will meet guests upon arrival.

Really enjoyable
Lovely home with an outstanding piano!

Perfect Location
We loved the house and the process was very simple. The house was clean and the owner was thoughtful enough to make sure coffee was in the house for you. There was nothing we needed that was not there. The only issue we had was getting up the driveway with the wet leaves.

This house was amazing! Gorgeous rugs and a newspaper article about the original owners framed in the hallway. Fascinating story! The house is on a hill with the most amazing wooded views. A great park across the street with running trails and a park for kids. Nice neighborhood close to eating and grocery store. I would love to stay there again!

The house is up a very steep hill with a shared driveway. We arrived and found the back door unlocked so we feared someone could be in the house . It is a rambling somewhat cluttered house and it didn’t feel safe enough to stay in. We left immediately and stayed in a hotel. After I told the owner about our experience, he changed the dates of our rental to 3 nights rather than 5 but did not refund any nights. He said he would try to re-rent it, but not all the nights are put back on VRBO. It’s a very dangerous time right now in this neighborhood and you should not stay in this house if isolation concerns you.

The location was great fir the areas we wanted to visit. The owner Tom was friendly and always communicated with us. He went out of his way to make certain that our 90 year old mother was able to get around on his property. Very conscientious and an owner with integrity. Would recommend to others who wish to live in the Buckhead area.

Pandemic Vacation
This was just the change of scenery we needed after quarantine in MD for 92 days. The tree house feel was relaxing, the Frank Lloyd Wright style took me back to another era.
We will surely stay here again.

Buckhead gem!
Great house in a fabulous location! Perfect for our family.

I am familiar with Atlanta after living there for several years in the past. I was in town visiting friends and looking for a place in a quiet neighborhood, near a park with the intent of enjoying a comfortable and well appointed place to stay. I got all of this at this property.
Tom was available and had very clear and concise instructions which avoids any hassles with neighbors and with the property itself. There was ample room for my small dog to enjoy and the park across the street was a great way to enjoy social distancing!
There are nearby drugstores and a Publix. Great restaurants in and around town. Good access to I-75 and the 400.
The house was clean with a mid century modern feel. I personally was swayed by the beautiful baby grand piano which was well kept and in tune!
I would stay at this property again hands down.

Short business trip in a wonderful neighborhood
My husband, puppy and I stayed in Toms property for 3 nights for a business trip. The check in process was a breeze. The property was stocked w/ anything a guest would need and fit our needs perfectly. The weather was beautiful so we sat outside and had dinner on the back patio. Would definitely recommend. The neighborhood was perfect and the park across the street great for a walk with the pup.

Great location! Nice home.
We stayed for a long weekend. The home is clean, comfortable and in a great neighbor. It is close to stores, restaurants and downtown. The driveway is very steep, but driveable. The kitchen is well stocked as well. The park, across the street, was perfect for evening walks. Children would enjoy the woodsy feel and exploring. I recommend this property.

Beautiful & cozy home
This house was perfect for our stay in Buckhead. The driveway was a bit steep but we never had a problem after the first time. The scenery was gorgeous & the home had everything we needed. We felt very comfortable there & had a wonderful week.

Great house, best location
Very nice house and in an ideal location for our trip to Atlanta. I would recommend the property to anyone!

Great location
This house is what it is — an older property that in most ways hasn’t been touched in 30 years but is in a great location. If you want to be in this part of Atlanta, it’s a terrific spot for a group of 4-6 people. The 3rd bedroom isn’t all that private, but it served our purposes for a kids room. I was initially disappointed with the dated decor etc when we arrived, but the more time I spent there, I felt like the house was good value for the price and location.

Park like Atlanta home
Wonderful space for us and our 2 dogs. Conveniently located while enjoying a neighborhood and park across the street.

Elton John Concert Weekend
We were very impressed with the home and area. We were 20 minutes from State Farm Arena and a great area for restaurants and shopping. It was a great experience and we would highly recommend this home.

Very good house with unique third bedroom and steep driveway
Overall this was a very good house. The third bedroom was a bit strange since you can only get to it through another bedroom or throw the bathroom. There's no direct access to the bedroom. The hill the driveway is on is very steep, our Lyft driver could not make it up the hill. The house is well taken care of and the neighborhood is high end. It was very convenient for the wedding we were in town for.
