easy walking to shopping or the glacier areas. home was clean quiet and well stocked with anything you will need during your stay. it's like being at my moms or maw-maws house but maw-maw went on vacation. lol

This was a great and beautiful place to stay. Bedroom and bathroom are really nice and the kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Would definitely book again!

Decent place, which could be much better with just a couple of changes, and a working freezer.

Spacious shared spaces, very nice kitchen and laundry facilities. Two bathrooms, big yard out back.

The name next to the door of the facility says "Grandma's House" or the like, but nothing about "Glacier Guest Rooms", leading me to think I was at the wrong door. Change the name on the internet, or change it on the sign next to the door, but don't leave it for the customer to figure out in the pouring rain. Very little shelter from the rain while trying to determine what to do. Chest freezer with mold and old food in a fairly deep layer of water; very bad mildew smell awaiting any who might open it with expectations of putting their ice cream in. No freezer compartment in the otherwise wonderful refrigerator forced me to eat two days worth of ice cream immediately. Some guests didn't wash their own dishes and just left them for other guests to do for them. There should at least be a daily visit from someone to do a quick clean up, especially in light of the ridiculous "cleaning charge" on top of the room charges. The price should include any cleaning charges rather than suggesting that the price is about $50 for a night rather than the $100 or so that it actually costs. Hidden charges are always unwelcome.

The location was great and close the the airpot and ferry terminal which made uber or lyft an easy option to get there. Check-in process was easy with a lockbox and code provided by the hosts before arrival.

The room was very unclean. The blankets/pillows on the bed seemed like they hadn't been washed, the rug on the floor was covered in dirt, and the shared bathroom was covered in hair. The whole house is somewhat run down and honestly quite creepy. This is one of the cheaper options in Juneau, so I appreciate the option of having something on the more affordable side, but the whole experience could have been better.

It is a great place to stay in Mendenhall Valley. Kelli responds quickly to questions.

It is very convenient to the airport, bus, ferry.

The bed was not the most comfortable.

Cost was reasonable. Facility was nice and comfortable. Location was okay and the bus stop next to the house made it easy and cheap to get to downtown.

It was very clean. Convenient to the bus. Good for travelers who don't have cars like myself.

There was no breakfast provided. Breakfast could have been included since it wasn't within walking distance to purchase food. Some travelers, like me, do not have cars, The coffee pot did not work. A little disappointing but the place was very clean.

The bus system wasn't easy to use. Made it hard to get around without walking the whole time.

It was a place to stay

The location on booking.com is the wrong location had to call the owner for proper address and pin to access house, the room was expensive for what you got, very old room and house, room wasn’t heated well, bed was super old and used, there was strands of hair in the bed which made me question if the sheets were washed, there wasn’t a tv in the room.
