This house is all about the view, which is incredible. We enjoyed our stay. the house is well appointed and comfortable. The only thing I would mention is that is located behind a restaurant and you have to find it, it’s on a dirt road, so it was a bit confusing at first. But once you’re in the house, all of that is irrelevant. However, I would like to have known the location so I was not surprised when we pulled up.

This is one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in! The view is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the house is clean and updated. The kitchen is well stocked and they provide beach towels and other needed enmities. The managing company is phenomenal and very responsive. I love the fact they meet you at the house and answer any questions you might have. Highly recommend this house and we will be back.

Views are great. A family of dolphins swam past a couple times each day. Saw an occasional sea lion/harbor seal. Although house is a 3 bedroom, only fits 4 people comfortably.

You can't beat the view, especially while relaxing in the hot tub. Property is just as described. Within walking distance to beaches, shopping, and excellent food.

DO NOT MAKE MY MISTAKE ! FIND A BETTER PLACE FOR YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. I rented this place for its view, hot tub, it’s privacy and the small beach accessibility. Unfortunately we only got one out of four.
We paid $200 extra for changing hot tub’s water. Upon our arrival we noticed hot tub had sand, scum in the bottom and oil on the surface. They offered to come and vacuum the bottom of the tub and telling us the water is brand new but the filter can bring back some of the old sand back into the tub. We told him that we can not trust the filter and it’s cleaning capability, so after going back and forth we got our 200 back. Our next disappointment was the neighbors on going construction with a huge drilling tractor for three out of our six days of our stay! We could not use the deck to have breakfast or lunch because of all the noise and exhaust fumes! Since there was no actual dining table inside the house, we all had to eat around the coffee table! we were told this was due to some last minute problems the neighbor was facing! Not true! We saw all the machinery right upon on our arrival. We just were hoping they would not start till after we leave! I was told the small beach you see in the pictures was accessible! Not true! Only young, surfers can jump over slippery rocks in order to get to the beach! Some constructive advices,
1- let your renters know about construction!
2- change the filter of your tub with all the diseases going on!
3- add more hooks in the bathrooms for hand towels since there is only one and it can not be used for bath and hand towels for multiple people.
4- you need a small dining table inside the house for days people can not sit outside! I had to clean the outside table and dry it out every morning due to moisture from the ocean in order to eat breakfast!(on the weekend before construction started)
5- add drapes or blinds for family room facing the ocean, as the sun is blinding and annoying when you try to watch tv. I had to get creative and hang beach towels!
6- put some luggage rack to be able to unpack your clothes in the bedrooms! There is only a small night table with lamp on it!
7- having any kind of shelving would be nice in the shower areas, so one doesn’t have to put their shampoo and other products on the shower floor!
I could have rented other beautiful places with same exact view for half of the price.
Sorry to say that the owner is not trust worthy and makes up excuses instead of fixing problems!

The view is phenomenal, the house is fine
The property manager required meeting us in person to check us in and then had to come back and walk through before we could leave. We had already paid in full, so I don’t know why we has to be evaluated in person before they would hand over the keys. They already had a damage deposit, so I don’t know why they had to check us out in person. That being said, Joseph, the man who checked us in and out was nice and accommodated our request to arrive a bit early and stay an hour after check out. We appreciated that. The process made us feel like they were sure we couldn’t be trusted, but Joseph was nice about it (the process was the problem, not him personally).
The value of this place is the unbelievably gorgeous view. The deck is huge and has everything you need for outdoor living: deck chairs, a gas fire pit, a large hot tub, a heated outdoor shower, a gas grill, an umbrella, and a picnic table. The deck is what makes this house worth the high cost.
The house itself is fine. The bedrooms are cramped with oversized headboards and lamps, but no place to set anything down. Given how small the bedrooms are, even having two foldable luggage racks per room would really help. The bathrooms have only one hook on each with no place to hang towels to dry and very little counter space. The kitchen is well equipped for the most part, but baking isn’t easy, since there is no electric hand mixer. There’s no place to sit indoors to eat other than the kitchen bar top (two) stools, so if you want to eat indoors you have to move sofas to one side of the room, set up an ancillary table, then pull the large wooden patio chairs into the house.
All that is to say that if the weather is nice and you can live outside, the deck and the view are breathtaking, but if the weather is bad and you can’t live on the deck, then the house itself isn’t worth the steep price point. You’re paying for that deck/view and its incredible! We had a wonderful week with perfect weather!

An Unforgettable Beachfront Living Experience
We stayed 4 nights at this property and we were delighted with all of the special amenities. From the welcome cookies, bottled waters and fresh fruit...to the incredible outdoor fire pit and hot tub. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with the cookware and serving essentials needed to prepare meals every day. Each of the three bedrooms had comfortable king beds and individual fans. Beach towels, chairs, toys and blankets were a nice surprise. My favorite time of each day was watching the sunset on the deck next to the fire pit and watching all of the pelicans flying by.
We have hundreds of pictures and life long memories of this amazing beachfront home. Thank you for all the extra nice touches!

A Beautiful home, with beautiful views
The home is beautiful and the view is amazing. Joseph was very helpful and responsive with check in and with needs as they arose. It's located in a little neighborhood with some cool shops and restaurants. The home itself is great, open layout with doors that open on to the back deck and garden patio. A very nice place and nice stay.

From our first steps into the property, the views were breathtaking and along with the hot tub and generous outdoor space made this one of our most memorable trips to SD. While the beach is not accessible, the location was well situated and private. The property while on the smaller end easily accommodated our 5 guests in 3 bedrooms. We would highly recommend.

Stunning views and outdoor space
Our family enjoyed our stay at this lovely beachside property. Everything was new and clean and we had all the amenities we needed for a weeklong stay.
Joseph was easy to communicate with and I appreciated having him meet us upon check in and walk us through the house. Same with checkout - nice to hand over the keys and know that everything was settled upon checkout.
The neighborhood itself was a great base for exploring San Diego.
Do note that the bedrooms are all along one side of the house and each have sliding doors instead of doors that seal - so if there are snorers in your group they might be heard by the light sleepers so maybe bring earplugs :)

The best vacation
We had a fabulous stay and loved this house. The view is beyond incredible, the outdoor space is perfect, and the hot tub is great. The house itself was spotless and spacious. We loved the neighborhood and walked to dinner at nearby restaurants every night. The house manager was so friendly, helpful, and just a phone call away. Can't wait to return!

House was as advertised! Sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean was awesome, we saw dolphins, seals, pelicans and a whale or two. Great location and the house was very well equipped.

The views are it! Loved sitting out on the deck with the fire pit and the waves crashing below. The property manager Joseph, was available 24/7 to answer questions. Thank you, Joseph.
For some reason I thought there was a fireplace indoors, there is but that is for looks. Also, the swimming icon is for ocean swimming in Ocean Beach not at the house but there is an incredible hot tube at the edge of the cliff.

“Location, location, location”
The property stands right on the shore with an access to a small semi-private beach. Huge deck with all the amenities to spend the whole day. It was remodeled 3-4 years ago, the house is in pristine condition, the kitchen is very well equipped.
Property manager Joseph will greet you on arrival and show around the property, and will collect keys upon departure. He is very nice guy attentive to your needs. We asked to change the water in jacuzzi and he readily did it the next day.
The view is stunning. We will definitely be back for a relaxing vacation.

This property has everything needed for a wonderful stay in San Diego. Location , interiors and service top notch. Hot tub or fire pit overlooking nearly private beach below. Beach access requires a climb but only adds to adventure. Snorkel with leopard sharks and gerabaldi fish right in front! Breakfast at Little Lion 100 feet away! Do not be frightened by alleyway entrance- this is a geode!When we visit again, we will stay here!

The property was situated right on the Pacific with east access to Sunset Cliffs, Ocean Beach, Petco Park, Balboa Park. Endless days spent enjoying the view. They have a smart TV so it is best if you bring all you passwords.

I loved it.
This place was pretty much perfect for us. Exactly what I wanted right on the water, a nice Jacuzzi on a huge deck. A spotless kitchen and on site parking. The communication with the property manager was easy and always replied immediately. The only reason I hesitate to give such a great review is because I don’t want it to be fully booked for the next time I want to come! I will say that since there is at 8 PM curfew for being out on the deck this is not ideal for a party house. But if you want a beautiful view and a tranquil place to spend time with your family or friends then this is great.
