Everything you see in the pictures and read in the glowing reviews is absolutely "spot on"! The home is super clean, beautifully decorated, wonderfully comfortable, and conveniently located. The quiet neighborhood was a bonus I truly appreciated. This is a house that immediately feels like a home. Sue is a gracious and attentive host who communicates clearly, fully, and promptly. She knows what she's doing in this field and it shows. This will be the first place I look for every time I come out to the Seattle area.

The property is well maintained and beautiful. Felt like we were at home! Location is close enough to downtown yet far enough out easily go to the other activities/sites. Sue is amazing and very responsive if something comes up. Will be where we stay when in Seattle

Our family had an AMAZING stay at our house in Tukwila. The house is in a great location! The neighborhood was safe, quiet and very peaceful. The landscaping was outstanding! We were close to the light rail and major freeways. Our hosts were incredible and readily available to answer any questions we had and/or offer suggestions for restaurants and/or local sights! The check-in and check-out process were very easy! The house was immaculate, well stocked and included so many amenities. The online listing was very accurate! We enjoyed relaxing on the patio at the end of the day! We hope this house will be available on our next visit to Seattle! We highly recommend this property!

We flew out to Seattle on Christmas Day to visit our son who is in the Navy. We picked Sue and Mike’s place due to the proximity to the city and based on reviews. It did not disappoint. After a long day of traveling… delayed flight, lost luggage and rental car issues we finally arrived at 1:00 in the morning hungry and tired. We walked in and the entire place was lit up and decorated beautifully for Christmas. There was a delightful basket of snacks and treats and even a bottle of wine awaiting us. After a great night of sleep on very comfortable beds we woke up to eggs, orange juice and coffee in the kitchen. It was so nice not to have to rush to the grocery store first thing. They even provided plenty of toiletries, which was nice, since we had to wait an extra day for some of our luggage. We loved how easy it was to get into the city. Also lots of restaurants and stores close by. The neighborhood is cute and the house was amazing. So cozy, clean and beautifully decorated. You can tell the host really enjoys making it a comfortable home for her guests. We had a wonderful Christmas visit with our son. Highly recommend!

Our daughter, her husband, and two children live in Seattle. We flew in and hosted Thanksgiving at this wonderful property. Everything went great. The round table seated the six of us (max capacity) and the counter space let us spread out the buffet meal. We loved the location - super convenient to SEATAC Airport (without airplane noise) and Westfield Southcenter Mall. We didn't need the freeway to reach downtown Seattle. There is a full kitchen. Full-size stove and oven. Full-size refrigerator/freezer. Full-size clothes washer/dryer. There are two separate bedrooms, and two full bathrooms. It could easily accommodate two couples. Our hostess, Sue, was welcoming and available. We will definitely stay here again.

Seattle is a bucket list destination! Home of the Space Needle, Museum of Pop Culture, Sea Aquarium, and Chihuly Glass and Garden. Wonderful food but learn the public transportation/monorail. Having a car to park is expensive and the highway driving is stressful!! Our place to stay was in Tukwila; close to the airport! Beautiful house; clean; stocked with many amenities! The hosts were wonderful and attentive to our requests. Can’t do everything in a week! Be back to visit Mt Rainier! First week in October the fall colors are starting!

The property was clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, utensils and pots and pans. We even found a cooler bag to take on picnics. It is in a great location that is close to the airport and grocery stores. It was easy to work with Sue even though she was out of the country.

We loved Sue’s home, it was sparkling clean, tastefully furnished and exactly as in the photos. The kitchen was well equipped and even had some staples, condiments and some extra goodies for us to get our stay started. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely with easy access to the highway to Seattle and Renton, and a supermarket within an easy drive. Communication with Sue was very easy and straight forward. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again next year.

We visited for my son's birthday and loved this little gem. It was quiet, clean, and an easy drive to Seattle and the airport. The owners were wonderful at communicating and made the whole process so easy. Would definitely choose this rental again.

Simply stated we love staying here. This trip we were here for my sisters wedding. It is a great location for getting around to everything. The house is just perfect. 2 bedrooms on opposite sides of the home with 2 bathrooms. A nice living room, small dining area and a well stocked kitchen. This is our 2nd stay and we will be back!

The property was perfect for myself and my 2 kids. Tukwila is a beautiful suburb and the cottage itself was a beautiful gem. Gorgeous inside and out. Aue made sure we had everything we needed. I cant wait to come back and stay here again

The Cottage was simply amazing! Our check-in was delayed until the wee hours of the morning due to flight issues. Our guests accommodated us fully. I'll never forget how tired we were rolling into Tukwila and being so exhausted we looked and felt like Zombies...but when we pulled into The Cottage driveway, my stress and fatigue dissipated because the Cottage was so charming, well-lit and the landscaping sooooo beautiful - even in the twilight. Cleanliness was not just at 100% for 200%. The Cottage was stocked well, ie: toilet paper, paper towels, napkins and several snacks. A lovely and clean accommodation just minutes from the airport was the perfect gateway to downtown Tukwila, Seattle and surrounding sites. The Cottage was everything Sue and Mike advertised and more! I cannot thank them enough for sharing their lovely property with use!

The home was just as described, and all the 5-star reviews are correct. It's a wonderful place to stay. We loved that it was in a quiet neighborhood and simple access to get to downtown Seattle. Sue made the check in so easy and was very responsive to any questions we had. We definitely will be back!

Very spacious and clean 2 bedroom - 2 bath well stocked pantry and refrigerator only thing missing was facial tissue - great quiet neighborhood with easy access to freeways and shopping. Very comfortable king bed - would definitly stay here on the next trip to visit family in the future.

The home looks even more lovely in person, the location is perfect- close enough to nearly everything you could want, including downtown seattle. The neighborhood was pleasant. Lovely landscaping and spacious backyard. I have stayed at several rentals, but the ameneties here were much better. The overall value was great. It truly felt like a home away from home, with all the little things youd have in your own home. The hosts were accommodating also, including very nice small touches like snack basket and wine! We will definitely look to stay here whenever we are back in the area.

The cottage was the perfect home away from home for our week long visit to Seattle. We had everything we needed and more. The house was beautifully furnished, well maintained and very clean inside and out. The snack bowl was a nice surprise and cooking was a breeze with all the proper kitchen tools/gadgets. The bathrooms were well stocked with linens and the beds were clean and comfortable. Sue was easy to reach and communicate with for any questions I had. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful. Would 10/10 recommend staying here.

Sue and Mike were the ultimate hosts! Their cottage is the very definition of warm, welcoming, and supremely outfitted. In the age of a pandemic and flu season, this home is immaculate. It was truly a home away from home. Location was perfect for visiting family and Seattle area day trips.
