Checking in, the code to the door was incorrect, had to call the help line, who also did not have the correct door codes either. When local service called me back the procedure for entry was completely different from what was listed. Other than that problem, the unit was great. Stairs get a bit much by end of the weekend, but still enjoyed the stay.

This property is all about tricks. You are paying for 4 walls, a roof, and distance to the beach. Everything else is a nightmare. The house has a terrible smell throughout, the ground floor has a great amount of black mold throughout the entire bathroom. All of the TVs turn on, but that’s about it and if you try to watch something you will be happier to just turn it back off. The dishwasher falls apart as you try to use it, the freezer barley can open and the ice maker is good to make air but not ice. Most of the pictures of the kitchen area online are a dream, what you actually get is totally different. Leading up to the 3rd floor you walk over stairs that are falling apart and create a lovely trip hazard. You find 3 bedrooms on the top floor and 2 bathrooms. Getting water pressure that’s another question and hope. Beds were semi comfy, but beware of the ants and other critters that can find their way in. The patio door in the primary bedroom is nearly rusted shut and all patio furniture looks like it was used in a crime scene. Going to use the washer and dryer, well good luck as it’s really a mystery if it washes your clothes let alone dry them.
If you want a house really close to the beach, this one works. If you want an enjoyable stay, I’d look else where. Yes this place will keep you dry from the elements outside but you may catch something inside.

Great place for family get away

Walking distance to the beach so didn’t have to get a parking permit for the beach parking. The pool with the condo was nice the kids really enjoyed it. Especially the 2 year old in the shallow end. The 5 year old managed to lock the bedroom door and we couldn’t unlock it. Management people were quick to respond and get it unlocked. Overall it was a great vacation. Weather wasn’t the best but nobody can do anything about that.

The location was perfect! We were able to see the sun rise and set from our balcony. Plenty of space for everyone.

Super great location!
Very few pots and pans.
Stove took a long time to boil water and oven was not as hot as dial indicated. Things took much longer to cook.
Unit has a LOT of stairs, we got our cardio workout.
Great location!!!!

Great place for family vacation. The house was really cute and clean. When we arrived there was some issue with smoke detectors but it was fixed within 15 minutes of us reporting it to the staff. Great location- a walk away from the beach! We really enjoyed our stay there. We will be returning in the future.

We booked this place for a family vacation. The location is great. Some wear and tear but otherwise a beautiful place. Lots of room for big families. Staff was very helpful and quickly responded with any questions we had. Would definitely book again!!

Worked great for our family of 8. The condo had all that was stated in the listing, the pool is heated (not a lot, but just enough), and having a walk to the beach without having to contend with traffic was wonderful. Interacted with Vacasa about a missing item in the condo, and they worked out a solution quickly. Wonderful place to stay.

The home has good proximity to the beach, is well-lit, including lots of natural light, and fits a large family like ours (a rare find).
4.0 / 10.0
But beware, the floors were filthy. The shower curtain rod fell as we were about to check out. The washer smelled. The ice maker was broken. You pay for proximity to the beach, not the amenities.

Reported mold in various locations , broken hand rails , dryer vent is broken and damaged our clothing
We had to continually contact agent to get a response

This is probably the best location on the island we have stayed. Very short walk to the beach. Overall, we had a very nice experience. I would recommend leaving a garage door opener as it would be so much more convenient parking the golf cart/can-am vehicle. We had to enter the front door each time and walk up and down the stairs to enter the garage to open each time. Also the towel rack in one of the upstairs bathrooms is loosely installed and fell apart everytime a towel was placed or removed from the rack. The TVs were somewhat confusing to operate so we just used the wifi to connect to our personal devices. Overall, great stay and we would come again. Thank you.

I like the property as it was walking distance to the beach. They had many amenities to stay comfortably. My children love the place and plan on staying at the same place in the future.

The only problem we had is the dryer. It got plug up with lint and sand at the bottom. We did try to take some off to have lint catcher put in.

We booked this location and this home for a small business retreat. It was great to have a place for everyone to stay and meet. The island never disappoints.

It’s a great location and makes going to the beach so much easier. There were however some shortcomings that some of it was really serious:
Don’t expect any sort of support while you are staying here.. you are on your own! We had the smoke alarms go off (due to what we latter learned was humidity) and were trying to reach out for support. After calling the main line and talking to someone, the manager was supposed to come by, but never showed up. Thanks god we had a neighbor help us!
Water pressure was really low in the bathrooms and made some guests really uncomfortable.
The washer/dryer system was faulty and made cuts through some of the clothings!
Complimentary accommodations were low quality and minimal (for 3-4 people staying 2-3 days max)
To be fair and objective, we enjoyed our stay, but not because of the house; it was all about the location.
I have been renting and staying with various hosts (mostly through AirBB) and this one has been the worst experience.
If you are renting the place for the location, you are wining, but don’t expect much when it comes to today’s norm of hospitality.

The water pressure in the master was very low. The convertible sofas were extremely uncomfortable. Not enough plates, or glasses for the quantity of the house. Not enough seating for the the quantity. This was our second time reserving this house and am very disappointed at some of the issues, but loved the location.

House is nice but missing amenities
The house first of all was not very clean and the skillets were in horrible shape no large bowls
We had one small bar of soap for each upstairs bathroom and the half bath had none and none in the kitchen
All doors going out to decks were very hard to open
The middle bathroom upstairs would not drain and I had to pull a large amounts of hair out the drain so it would drain
The house for the price is not at all well equipped if you want to cook your meals
Also the request that the tenants start a load of towels before they leave is concerning because how to you know the are cleaned properly
I have rented many homes from VBRO and none have been like this one
It needs work

Great extended family stay
We had a great experience. 11 in our group and we were very pleased. The location was great and close to a very nice beach area. Within good distance of shops and stores. It is a lot of stairs as expected but if worked out fine for our group. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for one of our party with disabilities, which made it very nice. Communication with property management was excellent. We had minor issue with access code, but within a couple minutes and a quick phone call it was resolved. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Overall it was a great experience and suited our needs perfectly. I would highly recommend it.

Good experience. Nice and comfortable with lots of beds to sleep adults and children comfortably. Good location near beach, can walk or drive.

Overall, we loved the house. We had 4 families getting together for my 50th Birthday. There are a lot of stairs but it was tolerable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, etc. The beds were comfortable. The pull out couch was not comfortable though. The ottoman pulled out into a single bed, which was very comfortable. We had plenty of great towels including pool towels. We did have some issues with cockroaches. The company did come and spray plus we put out some cockrock bait. The location was super close to the beach. We walked down every morning to watch the sunrise. The master bedroom could use some better blinds. The street lights kept the room well lit all night! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Very close to beach
This property is very close to beach and easy accessible and we had a nice beach view from patio and some bed rooms, just giving 4 stars as the floors were not clean and we felt lot of sand, if doors and floors are maintained would love to stay again

Close walk to the beach
The condo was very close to the beach, so that was great! We also rented a golf cart to cruise to the other side of the beach which was fun. There are also several souvenir shops that are close by for shopping. The house is spacious for big groups and the beds are comfy. However, the house was not clean upon arrival and there was sand in the beds and we saw several bugs inside the house. It would have been nice to have items to clean the floors with besides a small broom. Also, the kitchen had a lot of dishes, pots and pans, but you only get the trash bags that are already in the can and one roll of paper towels. It would be nice to have at least one additional of those items and a few basic spices such as salt, pepper, etc.

Great house!
This place was fantastic! The only issue was I couldn’t get in contact with anyone to let them know there was an issue with the washing machine. Other than not being able to do a load of laundry this rental was amazing!

Great Beach Vacay
The rental was the perfect size for our family trip and located just a quick walk to the beach. It was clean and had most of the supplies we needed for our trip. Based on other reviews, we brought extra trash bags and paper towels and ended up picking up some extra hand soap during our trip. Having access to the garage was great in order to store our chairs and ice chests from the beach. The pool and lounging area was clean and well maintained. Having the washer and dryer available was a plus! I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Great Location & Comfy Space
We really enjoyed staying in this townhome. We normally camp in an RV down the beach but our friends decided we wanted to all be in the same space with room to cook and hangout in the evenings this year. So this house was great for that. The location is perfect for walking to beach and having a pool was a must. It’s also nice that it is super close to a convenience store and a golf cart rental place since we needed both! Beds are comfy too!
Our only feedback would be these items:
1. The home needed to be way cleaner. You could still feel the sand on the floor (which we understand, it’s everywhere) but there was still someone else’s hair in the bathroom and shower. There was mildew growing under the living room windows. Just felt like we should have cleaned again.
2. Definitely need more than just 2 bags for trash, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 dish washer pods, and 2 Laundry pods. Especially when we’re expected to start a load of each when we leave. We had to go buy more of everything which isn’t convenient since none of that comes in small batches.
3. The power went out twice when we there. Not sure for the reason, but they were GREAT about responding quickly and scheduling someone to come out and take a look. Thankfully it came back on both times within 30 minutes.
4. Lastly, because the top floor does stay warmer than the others and we slept in the master, highly highly recommend putting blinds on the top arched windows. The sun was blinding in the morning and kept the room warmer. We like it dark and cool. :)
Overall, thank you for allowing us to enjoy the home!! It was a great time!!

Beautiful house. Terrible communication
We loved the location of the house and it was very clean. It's a beautiful house right near white cap beach. When we arrived, the cleaning crew was still there and we weren't able to check in on time. They tried to open the garage for us so we could at least unload our stuff. The garage door was broken. It was a stressful start to our 1st family trip during covid19. I called and texted and got no response. Then, the following day, the fire alarms starting going off and wouldn't stop. We weren't cooking or doing anything that would cause this. Again, I tried to call and text. No response for several hours! Thank goodness it wasn't an actual fire. The alarms finally turned off after an hour, and after we had to leave the house because small children and loud alarms don't mix. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, but Vacasa needs a better system for communicating. If I were an owner, I'd be upset with the lack of management services for my investment. Also, when you have a rental that sleeps 14 people, 2 trash bags is not enough. Maybe stock some extra so that the people staying there are able to clean up their mess better so the cleaning crew has a bit less to do. Although we appreciated the thorough cleanliness, and beautiful views, we will not likely book again through Vacasa.
