We couldn't have had a better stay. The home was perfect for our group of 4 couples. It was fully stocked with everything you could need. Communication with owner was good throughout. Hanging out on the back deck in the evenings was a bonus with beautiful views.
One of the best VRBO properties we have stay at. I highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay in Kanab! The house was great, lots of space to gather for meals and games, also plenty of room to relax quietly. 5 adults shared this home and we all thought it was a wonderful find. We did day trips to Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Grand Staircase Escalante. Lots to see and do, and the perfect end to the days adventure was relaxing on the beautiful back deck.

We loved this home, plenty of room for our family of 6 to spread out and relax when not enjoying the great outdoors. The bonus kids play area was a big hit too. Close to everything Kanab and the area has to offer. Quiet neighborhood.

This was an amazing place to call home for a week while visiting many of the sites in Kanab, Utah, and within a 2 hour drive of Kanab. The house is lovely, spacious, well-maintained, and clean. We enjoyed spending down time on the covered deck at the end of a busy day. The views are beautiful. (One of my personal favorite parts of the house is the upstairs jetted bathtub.)
The owner was a joy to work with - she quickly responded to questions and provided clear instructions for the house and check out.
I highly recommend this home for others considering a stay in Kanab.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this home and have already booked 2024. It’s large, clean, and has plenty of parking for 3 - 4 trucks with UTV trailers. The owners take customer service to the next level with clear instructions and accommodations for a memorable stay. Our fav place!

Sue is such a great person. She texted before hand to make sure i had all the information for how to get there, how to get in, great places for food, and things to do. It was such a great experience. The house is beautiful, and is in a great location. Absolutely could not have asked for better. We all hated to leave, and we will definitely be going back again. This is definitely 5 star all the way with absolutely no complaints whatsoever! Thank you Sue!!!

What a gem of a property in a quiet residential neighborhood of Kanab! The owner, Sue, keeps the property in lovely shape and tip top cleanliness and her care for the property shows through every little detail in the house. You will truly feel at home here. Her eclectic collection of artwork is interesting to look at, appliances are high end and work as they should, the house is well furnished and equipped, the view out of every window is beautiful, nand the beds are very comfortable. What more can you ask for?
Location-wise it doesn't really get better if you're looking to visit Zion, Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell, and the North Rim (which was snowed in when we visited, bummer). Kanab itself has plenty to offer. If you want a challenge, hike up to the top of the Bunting Trail (1500' elevation in about 2 miles) right in the neighborhood, about 1.5 miles from the house, where you can see dinosaur tracks and petroglyphs along the way. It has cute little restaurants (try Wild Thyme Cafe and Jakey Leigh's), sand caves nearby, and a very convenient and well-stacked grocery store.
We spent most days in Zion and it's a scenic and easy 45 min drive to the center of the park where you can catch the shuttle. East Zion (the bit before the long tunnel) is a bit closer and offers its own share of lovely trails. We drove to Bryce for a day trip and Lake Powell/Horseshoe Bend for another. Both were gorgeous scenic drives to an even more gorgeous destination. Don't forget to stop by the Homestead Tribal Arts shop in Fredonia where they sell authentic Native American artwork and crafts for very reasonable prices.
All in all, thank you Sue for sharing your home with us travelers. We had a wonderful time and hope you'll have us back next time!

Three couples and a single relative spent several days at this spacious 4 bedroom , clean house. After hiking every day we were able to relax on the back porch with the beautiful view of the Vermillion Mts. From the house there was a nice hike into the canyon. We also went to Antelope canyon( little over an hour) gorgeous! Coming back from Antelope we stopped at Horseshoe Bend and Toadstools. One day was Bryce which was an hour and half) Zion we did before Kanab, Narrows was a great hike in the river. House had everything we needed. Star gazing from front of the house was an added bonus! We definitely recommend this house!

Our first impression was the excellent communication with Sue. She covered everything in detail to make sure we had easy access to her home. We were delighted when we opened the house. This house was great. There were 3 couples renting the house. We all had plenty of room indoors & the house was equipped very nicely for all the cooking we did. The upstairs porch was great for meals with beautiful views. House is almost equidistant from Zion & Bryce Nat’l Parks. The property manager, Sue was GREAT. Absolutely would return if we go back to the area.

Outstanding property for our group of parents, grandparents, and grandchildren. Perfect amount of space, extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean property. Sue was amazing to work with and this home made the perfect base camp for SW Utah as within easy reach of Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Grand Canyon National Parks. So much to see and do in the area! We plan to be back some day and will look at this property for sure!

Perfect Thanksgiving getaway!
We absolutely loved our Thanksgiving holiday in this Kanab home! The double ovens were invaluable with the pies, turkey and ham we wanted to make! Loved cooking here in a home with premium appliances. The pots and pans were high quality, there was even a crockpot and griddle in the home. We did bring our own measuring cups/spoons and a large cookie sheet which helped as they had limited inventory on that side but it still would have worked without bringing ours.
The house and land are in amazing shape and reside in a very quiet neighborhood with amazing views! It has plenty of space for the whole family. We joined with grandma and grandpa and explored by day, ate Turkey and pie by night. We were jealous of the large laundry room as we ran a load or two to get us by during our 5 day stay.
The homeowners were incredibly easy to reach, communicated openly and quickly and even accommodated an early check in so we could start vacation early. Highly recommend!

Wonderful property!
We enjoyed our stay very much. Property owner was very thorough with instructions and great communication. It is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood....we enjoyed sitting on the covered deck every evening soaking in the scenery. We were 5 minutes from town which made it convenient if we needed anything. There were 8 adults, each couple had their own bedroom, and 2 had to share a bath. The house had most anything you'd need.. If you have a group staying in Kanab....check out this house. I would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic property and location
My family and in-laws stayed here for a week and loved it. It was perfect. Everyone had their own room and space. We watched beautiful sunrises and sunsets off the back deck and the stars at night. We visited North Rim of Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Kolob Canyon and Cedar Breaks. It was centrally located to everything.

Perfect Home Base
We used this home in Kanab as home base for our South Utah adventure for our family (3 kids aged 18-28). This was the perfect spot for us, the house has everything we needed, plenty of space and privacy for everyone, wonderful gathering spaces in the living room, dining area and on the back deck for us to enjoy. My oldest daughter worked at home a couple of days and had good internet access. Sue was very helpful and the check in was very easy. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice, the kitchen wonderful, and I was so glad to have a laundry room to use! I would absolutely recommend this to a family or group of friends who wants to spend time together on their trip but also appreciates their own personal space! We loved it!

Beautiful large home with incredible views!
What a find!! We had 4 couples, each with a truck and trailer. There was a comfy room for everyone and plenty of bathrooms. Nestled in a safe neighborhood, just outside of town, we were delighted to have found the perfect house....2 living rooms, 2 kitchens, big laundry room, lots of closet and pantry space, driveway was amazing, big deck with plenty of seating to enjoy the incredible city view and the skies full of stars! The owner is easy to get ahold of and super helpful with navigating the area. Our only regret was not staying longer! We will book again!
2.5 / 5.0
First, the owner of the property was very easy to work with and very responsive. Texts and phone calls were answered very quickly, and the owner was really helpful. Second, the property is located right on the edge of town. Close enough to get anything you need, but far enough away to get some nice views of the red rocks and the city lights at night. It was incredibly peaceful and quiet on this larger property.Third, the house was super clean and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The final thing I'd say is that if you are visiting Southern Utah, this is THE place to go. Great owner, great property, and my family had a great time!
