About this cabin rental
If the Rates are not on Display you have to enter dates to get the rates. When the Spillways are open the sound of the water is magnificent. Its a rare occasion, which is usually only in the Spring. This sound was always my motivation for the placement of a cabin on this beautiful property. This cabin sleeps 2(and only 2). The Studio Cabin is in a park like setting. Up against the GRDA East Spillway line for those who like to hike and explore the area. The cabin, with rustic siding on the outside, nice appointments for your comfort and pine interior paneling. French doors coupled with 2 large windows allow for a full view to the GRDA land, and, spillway access. The cabin is wrapped on 2 sides with a covered deck, with fans for your comfort as well. Lake access is about 1/4 mile away.
The cabin has a tankless hot water system that means you will not run out of hot water. There is a shower in rest room, and a tub in the main room. VRBO implies there is a Spa-Tub. But I nor the VRBO reps can remove. It was VRBO who put this term in this description. At this point they have failed to remove.
The Heat and Air Conditioner is a contemporary mini-split or sometimes called a "Ductless" system. All of its settings are by remote control at your bedside. This system operates with a whisper.
The hot tub on the deck under the porch roof. It is a Solana TX by Hot Springs designed for 2.
The spillway area at Disney is well known for its terrain as a trail jeep haven. The Little Blue at Little Blue State Park always has some water making its way to Grand River.
This is not a lake front nor lake view property, but certainly peaceful, private, and direct access to the rugged spillway grounds for your adventure, yet the lake is about 1/3 mile away.
Although the kitchen does not have an oven, it does have a cook top, toaster, microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator.
If you bring 2 dogs there is an additional Fee. I will not accept more than 2 dogs. This not a kennel.
I ask that you remove your trash to the public green dumpsters to avoid an additional charge of $20 to $50.

Great place to stay for a few days or extended stay. Front porch area is very comfortable and private. Amenities are great. It’ll be at the top of the list when we visit Disney Ok again.

Love the Disney area. Such a quiet getaway.

Was small, secluded, but felt safe...wife loved hot tub...very clean...nice fridge, coffee maker...cute porch.. comfortable chairs

It was not only fairytale like upon arrival, but the hot tub helped me release part of my back I haven’t been able to since I was 13! (I have thoracic scoliosis that causes chronic severe pain.) The owner was INCREDIBLY helpful and made the entire experience purely delightful, even for us “socially anxious.” In short-this was Heaven on Earth- the friendly neighbors that you never see, the deer and baby deer just living and happily playing in the owners yard, the comfortable AF bed? Perfection. Will be inquiring about renting later this year for our anniversary!

We found the property easily with the excellent directions from the owner.
Property was among some messy properties, so driving in I was a little concerned. The house was cute and as described. My one complaint would have been the smell inside the house. It was a combination of mustiness and smoker. Husband had to clean the coffee pot and maker as it was filthy. But coffee was provided which was a treat.
I didn’t expect the jacuzzi tub which was very nice.
As others have stated, you do hear the 4-wheeler riders all day and evening. Nighttime was very quiet and enjoyable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and seeing the deer come and go.
Overall we had a nice relaxing anniversary. Price was right.

Greg is always wonderful to rent from. We’ve been staying here for 6 years now & it’s always been great. Yes, Hogans is right there & can be loud at all hours but we don’t care. Yes, it’s a one room cabin that’s nothing fancy, but we don’t care. It comes with everything we need for a week-long stay or just a few days; it’s secluded & homey & very relaxing. It’s close to the lake, the springs & all the fun places to visit & Greg always puts a lot of effort into improving the cabin & upgrading things on the property & in the cabin itself. As long as this cabin is here we will continue to stay here each year

Always love staying in this cabin. It was clean and the area was just peaceful.

Nice little cozy cabin. We really enjoyed the private space, grass was mowed, lots of trees with very cool outdoor tree lighting. Front porch deck was very relaxing. Wife & I enjoyed the lawn chairs & hot tub, located on the outdoor covered deck. Communication and instructions from owner was above and beyond. He gave lot’s of detailed info about the Disney area, spillway and lake activities.

It was clean and just right! Would recommend

What an awesome experience. From prior to check in until check out! Excellent location for those wanting to see the town while also being away from all the traffic. You can literally see spillway through the trees. Thank you so much for absolutely everything! Hoping to come back very soon!

Weve been staying here for 10 or so years- we love this place and will return again and again. The offroaders are getting busy and staying up and out REAL late but is so peaceful when the riders are sleeping 😀

Exactly what we were looking for to relax. Clean and simple. Hot tub was awesome at night. Best place to relax.

Such a nice place to stay! Close enough to towns to go grab a meal somewhere but quiet and peaceful and secluded enough that you see deer and have plenty of options for exploring

Had a nice stay at this cabin, hot tub was relaxing, lights in the trees made nice ambience. Cabin had what we needed, even movies, and was cute and super clean. Owner was great at communicating and even left us a bottle of champagne. Some noise for being right on the spillway, but super quiet in the evenings. Overall, great stay!!!

Great little cabin, has everything you need so long as you're not baking. BYO soap and shampoo. Loved the extras and the patio jacuzzi. Indoor tub is just a tub despite having jet ports, but that was clear up front.

Finding and getting into the cabin was super easy. The host gave us easy detailed instructions to follow with places to eat and visit. He was fast at communicating and even left a bottle of champagne. It was quite and peaceful. The wild life out there is very active, we had birds, squirrels and deer out side of the cabin 95% of the time. They had made it just as beautiful at night as in the day, so it made the hot tub experience 10/10. We wanted to escape life for a minute and focus on each other and I think this was the perfect place to do so!

We enjoyed the cabin, the hot tub, and the champagne - a nice touch! Everything in the cabin was super clean. The cabin was a little challenging to find after dark. There were deer in the yard in the morning - a nice addition. Apparently the ATV people like to drive around the spillway on Friday night after dark. They finally left around 10 pm, but it was fairly noisy while they were there. Thanks for hosting!

I stayed during the week, so the ATV noise other complained about didn’t occur. In fact, it was very quiet and peaceful. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is small, but the shower is roomy and there’s lots of hot water and good pressure. The kitchen is minimal with a two burner 110 hot plate, but the refrigerator and microwave are very nice. The hot tub is clean and wonderful. (I checked it out, but I didn’t use it ) The view out the front is amazing and I saw a deer the first morning. I enjoyed staying there very much. I loved relaxing on the front porch.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin, we had a wonderfully relaxing weekend to just take in the beautiful surroundings. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the busy world and enjoy the time off from a busy work schedule.

This place is perfect for couples who just want to spend
time together and be alone and away without the inconvenience of having to drive a long way for any needed supplies!

This is a cozy getaway with the essential comforts. The spa on the porch is a perfect addition. The bed was super comfortable. The Weber grill made quick work of our steaks and chicken breasts. This is right off the ATV playground in the river but we did not find the engines obnoxious when inside the cabin and even when outside the trees offer ample screening from the sound. Super value!

This was our second annual trip. Nice place to get away from the city and enjoy the scenic atmosphere, hot tub and large tub. Will be back again.

My husband and i stayed here for our wedding anniversary. It was beautiful. The ambiance was peaceful and very comfortable. The cabin was perfect for just my husband and I. The cabin was clean and the wonderful host left us a bottle of champagne to drink as my husband and i enjoyed the hot tub out on the deck. It was very private.
We really enjoyed our special stay here. And the host Greg made sure we had all the information of the surrounding areas and the spillways, so my husband and i could go exploring. This was an amazing experience, and we recommend 100%.

Brought our pups and side x side to enjoy the area - and fell in love with this cabin for the conveniece to the trails, the amenities and the deck/yard! And the host provided helpful info to ensure our stay was comfortable. We'll definitely keep this at the top of the list for future trips to this beautiful area to adventure!

Loved the place! So cute and perfect for a couple! Lakes were so clear and cool! We had the best time and we were so glad we had helpful instructions about navigation and things todo in town from the owner!

It’s was a very nice and quiet place.

The property wasn’t what my husband and I expected. I tried to communicate with owner to express my concerns only to blame us for improper research of area. I believe the ad and details of property was misleading. Not a place to stay unless you don’t want to drive a ways for entertainment. Area-town was nothing to see or re-visit and disappointing. We can chalk it up to a learning experience. Be very careful and be sure to do your research of property, area and check out reviews. The pictures of room showed a jacuzzi tub and owner failed to mention it didn’t work, and only half of jets on hot tub worked. Only to be awaken throughout the night by loud Atv’s and loud music. Not a quiet relaxing place to stay.

Lovely, peaceful, private cabin. Loved it!
Deer and other wildlife, too.
This was one of our favorite stays and as I said this was for 53rd Anniversary!
Thank you, Greg

Very pleasant place to stay

The cabin is beautiful and although there are a few houses around, they are not noticable because there are blinds all around the deck and the cabin is faced away from them. There is a nice view and a short walk to the spillway. We walked around for hours and even saw 3 deer walk right in front of us. The bed was comfortable and the cabin was clean. We would definitely stay here again!

This property is so quaint and cozy. You are surrounded by wildlife and plenty of sights to adventure through. Greg was so helpful and communicative. I could not say enough positives about this experience. We would return 100 times over!

Not as secluded as some might like but it faces away from other properties so it still feels that way, Up side of that is everything you might need is very close. Propery owner was very helpfull!

This property is great for sightseeing the area, hiking, and many others. The cabin has everything needed for a great getaway and the hosts are very kind and attentive. This is my first time using VRBO and everything about the process was seemless. Great place to stay!!!

This cabin was perfect for my needs. I stayed with my 10 lb. dog and had a friend visit. The cabin stayed warm and comfortable even though it was very cold outside. Greg was a wonderful host and answered any and all questions I had. The cabin was clean, nicely stocked with utensils and ice. The hot tub was wonderful and the inside tub was great option when it was cold outside (it also has a shower). I was able to relax, read, watch movies and sleep. My dog loved it as well. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a break from their busy schedule.
