Wonderful property with clean, well-equipped cabin in a beautiful and peaceful setting by the creek. Great for family gatherings and close to various attractions. Highly recommended!

The property was exactly what we needed for our golf outing down the road at Manitou Passage. Private, quiet, and a lot of space.

Everything you need/want in a vacation home! We love staying at the cabin on the creek and will definitely be back again. The home has everything you need, is in a beautiful, secluded setting, and close access to some of the best Lake Michigan beaches. Added plus that it is dog friendly in every way! Our only tip is to bring a mattress topper if you aren’t a fan of hard (like rock hard) mattresses haha. Other than that—10/10!

We always go away for my father’s birthday and this cabin was perfect! Location was amazing for the hikes and activities we wanted to do 💕

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The kitchen was the most complete of any place I have rented. I could not have asked for more. We had 8 people stay here very comfortably. The fire pit area was perfect and the creek running near the house added an incredibly relaxing vibe any time that you sat on the porches.

Definitely a place to get away from it all with a peaceful stream out back and 2 balconies to have your morning coffee and listen to nature before your day starts.

Beautiful log cabin in the woods next to a lovely creek. Well equipped kitchen; games and toys for the children. Thanks!

Stay #4 for our family at this little piece of secluded heaven. We love the peace and quiet of the property. It’s amazing!

We have enjoyed every year we stay at this place….excellent location for all we enjoy doing! The home is perfectly equipped for cooking and enjoying. The only downside that we have noticed through the years, as we get older and the cabin gets older, are the beds and the main floor toilet. The beds are getting saggy and the main toilet would be nice as a high rise elongated…..not convenient for a handicapped individual.

Great location, great house!

This was our second stay at Cabin on the creek and we enjoyed our time here. Very clean and love that it has 3 full baths one on each level. Great place to gather the family and enjoy holiday time!

Great property! It was very clean and just as described. It was centrally located to our favorite sites on the west side of Leelanau. Ed was easy to work with as well.

The cabin was beautifully decorated, cozy and very clean. The property was also very beautiful, and I loved the relaxing sound of the creek. Close to hiking trails, Fishtown, Traverse City, Moomers Ice Cream and Old Mission Point State Park and Lighthouse.

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It is secluded back in the woods. There is WiFi and Dish TV. Plenty of bedrooms for my family to spread out and 3 full bathrooms. We enjoyed the porch and stream outside.

We’ve been taking our kids and spouses (8 of us) up north for a number of years and this place was great. Can’t say enough about how clean it was. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, and all the amenities we needed. We’re going to try a get a date to stay again next year.

Beautiful, peaceful property within reasonable driving distance to lots of activities. Would definitely return!

Very clean & spacious “cabin by the creek”. This was our 4th year and it’s still stunning and very well maintained. The owner built this cabin and it’s perfection at its best! Very tastefully decorated with a “theme” in each room. We always look forward to our return visit! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lovely cabin!

Definitely will be returning to this cabin by the creek. Very close to a lot of golf courses. Very clean, easy check in process. Minutes away from Traverse City

This is our fifth or sixth time staying at the Cabin by the Creek. It has everything to accommodate our family for a week's vacation Up North. We like that it's very quiet in the mornings for coffee on the back deck, and the setting is very beautiful with Shetland Creek as well. This year we heard the loons calling out in the morning. As for the cabin and it's accommodations, it has everything that we need. Be aware that cellphone coverage is weak, and especially when inside the cabin. We had a great time and will plan to come back next year!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin in the woods. It’s tucked away just enough and feels very private while still accessible to all the great places throughout the peninsula. The views over the creek were amazing to enjoy morning and night. Loved having 3 separate floors and bathrooms on each level—super comfortable! Our dogs would like us to consider relocating to this place permanently (hah!). Highly recommend and would love to come back!

The house was lovely for our family summer vacation. It is close to Glen Arbor, Leland and Sutton Bay all within 15 min by car.

We had 8 people, ages 7 to 70, and the cabin worked out great for everyone. The cabin has plenty of space, it is clean and well-organized, with all the amenities we needed. The location is lovely - secluded in the woods by a peaceful stream - but still easy enough to get to Glen Arbor, Leland, and Maple City. There are so many things to do nearby, we really needed another week or more. Hoping to come back again!

We have stayed here for a number of years now for special week in Leelanau. Enjoy it every year! And we are very thankful Ed welcomes our dogs. The central location is great to get anywhere on the peninsula. The house is always well equipped and comfy and you feel at one with the woods and natural surroundings. Thank you!

This cabin was exactly what we needed for our week visiting family in Traverse City. It was close to Sleeping Bear Dunes and several beaches, while also close enough to TC for our visits. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything you need for a long, quiet, week away from it all. The creek below provides a peaceful background to lying around in hammocks and having nightly campfires. Overall, we had a great time staying and will look into it again should we revisit the area. There was just so much to do!

We had a great time. Cabin was great. Enjoyed the fire pit every night. Knives need sharpening bad

The cabin was perfect. We loved the location, off the road and hidden back along the creek! Cabin was exceptionally clean and well stocked with towels etc. thanks for a great experience!

We’ve stayed here approximately five times now and truly enjoy the location. The only downside to the cabin is the use of double size beds. There are two, which I wish were queens! We slept on the main floor for the first time due to limited mobility. The double was horridly uncomfortable! Otherwise, the place is great!

The cabin was perfect! We had 3 family groups and each had a floor, bedroom(s) and a bathroom! The common space and kitchen were great for cooking, eating, and spending time together! We loved the outdoor space! Plenty of seating, covered with an awesome view of the woods and creek. The boys ( 9 and 11) especially enjoyed the creek! The location was awesome! Easy driving to the beach, wineries, and Traverse City. Definitely will be back!

Great property! Stream behind property was a perfect setting. Great location in between Glen Arbor and Leland. Clean house. The perfect home away from home. We look forward to booking this property again.

This is our second time staying at this cabin. As before, it was very clean, spacious, and quiet. It is secluded but close to everything that we wanted to do. We went snow tubing, walked the Dunes, and visited Glen Arbor and Hop Lot Brewery in near by Sutton's Bay. There was plenty of room in this cabin for the six of us.

The cabin was a great find! So much room for everyone to spread out. Beautiful river views.

Super clean, open layout for group but also plenty of areas to get away to read a book. We could have stayed at the cabin for our entire trip, it was so nice. Down a private drive, on a crystal clear creek in the woods with great pizza only 5 minutes away. We will rent again.

This was our third time staying at this property! We absolutely love our visit to the cabin. You could not ask for a better location. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Couldn't have found a better place. This place is spacious, beautifully maintained and cleaned, well appointed, and feels like you are back in the deep woods. But a 12-15 min drive got us easily to Leland where we were working for a few days. AND, the property owners are kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

We visited this beautiful Michigan area during peak color season. The cottage was more than what we hoped it would be! Plenty of room for 10, comfortable, and cozy. Thank you!
