Adorned with original art which includes a photo-op in the dining room next to the Power grid. A Mad Max type device powered by pyramids and Quartz crystals. Intriguing?
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a breakfast bar for convenience. Comes with a radiant heat stove top. There is also a BBQ on the patio for grilling up!
The tastefully decorated master bedroom has its own private bath and a retro tube TV/VHS combo for those nostalgic movie nights.

The Neighborhood
The Park Sendero is located in the high desert in Joshua tree. A beautiful view of the boulders and to the left the rolling hills in the distance… take a walk or search the skies at night for constellations or maybe a UFO. Perfect for viewing meteor showers.

It's 7 miles from the Boomtown Yucca Valley. A great community where you can shop till you drop, in some of the most intriguing stores of Antiques, desert treasures, and local art.
Happy hours exist here, there, and everywhere. The Joshua tree saloon happy hour offers 2 dollar drinks from 4 to 5 if you want to get an early start. Add a burger and fries or great Mahi Mahi fish tacos.
If you're in the mood for something really healthy, Natural sisters café, located across the street, has the best salad I have ever had; “World of flavors”.

We enjoyed our stay at this hip, mid-century, modern appointed desert pad. We would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed the house during our visit to Joshua Tree National Park. The location is perfect and closed to grocery stories and cafe and supplies. The house is very nice and comfortable. It is perfect for us.

Very comfortable, spacious house. I loved the cool art pieces. The location is very close to the west park entrance and town centre.

This VRBO is an older home, spacious, clean with lots of windows and gorgeous views, especially sunrise. Well equipped for cooking, grilling and relaxing. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it’s only about 5 minutes from the west entrance to Joshua Tree NP. You can see the park from the house.
The town of Joshua Tree has friendly people and lots of character; spend some time there. Overall, we had a great time.

Loved the location as it was so close to the park. Great up to date kitchen and fun instruments and art. It was a great home base for climbing and enjoying Joshua Tree. Some cool cacti in the garden too. Wind was loud one night.

My main intention choosing this property were being close to park and being pet friendly.
It was a good clean and well equiped home.
I really did not need to contact Erick.

My friend and I loved our stay at Park Sendero this past weekend. It's wonderfully decorated and had great amenities that made our stay cozy and comfortable. It is really close to the downtown area and just a few minutes away from JNTP's West Entrance. Erick was also a great host and was super friendly. We definitely will stay here again if we return to the area. I highly recommend it!

Great accommodation ! Clean and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped and everything worked well . Only missing washer & dryer. Enjoyed music , smart TV and propane BBQ . Close access to west JTNP entrance. Desert trail running from house. Would stay here again !

The location is absolutely ideal for Joshua Tree hikes. Place is extremely well stocked, particularly the kitchen. I always cook on my trips - cookware provided here is the best I have seen in all my house rentals (over 6 so far). Living room is very comfortably furnished, Netflix already logged in 🙂! Lovely private and well furnished back yard as well. Couple of very minor points (not impacting to me this time as I was prepared for this one week trip) (1) this place could benefit from access to washer and dryer if one were looking for longer stays (I stayed solo, but had a visiting friend from LA for a day - who found the second bedroom extremely comfortable as well and decided to give VRBO a try himself in the future!)
And (2): the HVAC system does have a bit of a noise in the main bedroom when turning on and off, which may impact very light sleepers (though probably not after 15 mile hikes 🙂).
Will definitely try to get this property again when coming back to this area!

Bouldering Madness in Joshua Trer
We are grandparents and took our seven and eight-year-old grandchildren, my daughter, and my son-in-law to Joshua tree national Park for the week. This house was absolutely perfect for us. It was very clean, plenty of space to spread out, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed hearing the love doves that nested around the house. We saw Quail crossing the yard each afternoon and the sunsets were beautiful. The house was just a few miles from the entrance to the park. I would definitely rebook.

Amazing!
It's a beautiful property, in an ideal location, and has an awesome owner. The house was perfect for my family of 6. It's right between the national park and the village. Erick was fantastic! He gave us some very cool recommendations of things to do and contacted me right back if I had anything I needed help with. It was perfect! Thank you!

Decent stay but better options available at this price point closer to Joshua Tree west entrance
This is an older house with nice interior furnishings. Some of the light fixtures did not work -
the kitchen fan wouldn't stop. The master bed fan wouldn't work. Some of the lights were not working making the place darker than it should be in the evenings. We love natural air and the weather was perfect but we couldn't keep the windows open because they didn't have a screen door - too many insects here. There's no speakers to plug in your phone or iPod to play music - unless you have audio cassettes, CD's, or play your own music. The carpet flooring looks tired, dirty and needs a facelift. Check in was smooth but communication with the host was 3/5.
To summarize - This is a decent place but there are bigger, better options in the neighborhood and some closer to Joshua Tree west entrance in the same price range.

comfortable, convenient and pretty
We had a great time here, it was very well equipped. We loved the guitar and rhythm instruments. A little trouble getting in, but our stay was fine thereafter.

Close to hiking and running trails
We really enjoyed the house. My daughter had quick access to running trails for her morning run and we got a quick hike to coyote canyon right from the house. We borrowed the guitar for a quick serenade. Close ride to dinner and breakfast. My daughter loved the local coffee shop. I wish I had more time to enjoy the patio. The house had lots of cooking items although we Didn't use most of them. I enjoyed all the eclectic decorations, especially the electrical one in the dining room.

A Wonderful Place to Relax
My wife and I and our three kids stayed here while visiting Joshua Tree and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This charming home is full of artistic and thoughtful touches and is just a short drive from the main entrance to the Joshua Tree National Park and less than a mile from downtown Joshua Tree.
A helpful folder of information about local restaurants and services made it easy for us to find great food (the JT Saloon was a great surprise) and the guitar and other musical touches inspired our kids to play music rather than watch TV for a record three days in a row.
Our bed was wonderfully comfortable, the kitchen had plenty of counter space and was user friendly. Unlike many prior rentals we've encountered this gem was stocked with plenty of amenities that you often forget about: an iHome speaker so we could play music from our phones, kitchen and bathroom staples, an expresso machine, a bread machine, plenty of fire wood, etc.
Quirky, original and fun artistic touches, a lava lamp, a psychedelic kitchen lighting system and a nice patio tables and chairs for our morning coffee made our vacation even more fun than we expected.
We were very happy here and will certainly stay here again in the future.

Wonderful place to stay near JTNP.
I stayed here with several other adult members of my family for 2 nights. The place is clean and well appointed. It felt very much like staying at a good friend's home. The location is close to the National park where we spent most of our time. We enjoyed our stay.

Clean, comfortable home to explore Joshua Tree
Our family of four stayed at Park Sendero for a week during the Christmas-New Year holidays. The property was clean, bright, well-maintained and nicely decorated. The kitchen and bath were very well-stocked. It provided a warm and comfortable base to explore the nearby Joshua Tree National Park. We also made several day trips to Palm Springs. Erick was very responsive and easy to work with, he was not there to meet us, but he made sure our needs were quickly taken care of. We highly recommend this place to people visiting Joshua Tree area.

Fantastic, Clean, and beautiful home in Joshua tree
We stayed for two nights in park sendero and would return in a heart beat. Erick the host is an excellent communicator and we found the house to have everything one could need. The location is excellent as well as its just a few minutes to the Main Street with restaurants and another ten minutes or so into the park. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking to experience Joshua tree.

Great house! Airy, roomy-we felt at home the whole time! And you can't beat the location!
My mother wanted to celebrate her 80th birthday by going to Joshua Tree NP. This turned out to be the perfect place. We had plenty of room to hang out, and have some quiet time. There were rabbits, squirrels and quail to watch from the back patio. All the appliances we used worked. Everything is clean and whimsically decorated. Internet/wireless worked great. I would definitely recommend this to folks and we're thinking of going back next year!

Fantastic vacation home!
This home was great! It was absolutely spotless, very roomy, lots of windows and light in all the rooms, and located in a great quiet neighborhood. The house is situated well above the road and there is some open land on one side of the house so it's quite private, and there is a beautiful view of the desert and mountains from the living room. There is a patio out front with chairs and a table surrounded by a low wall which provides a very private area for morning coffee or late night stargazing. The beds in both bedrooms were very comfortable and there was plenty of closet space. The bathrooms were roomy and each had a heat lamp which was nice. Lots of towels and bath mats. There also was a nice supply of soap, shampoo and conditioner, tissues and toilet paper - I don't know if these were left behind by the last tenant or the house just comes stocked with these essentials but some rentals don't come with supplies so this saves you from having to run out and make these purchases - very helpful.
The kitchen was amazing. Lots of appliances including coffee maker, espresso maker, microwave, etc. Also plenty of beautiful dishes, wine glasses, etc. What I really liked was that in the cabinets were some spices, sugar for coffee, coffee filters, paper towels, dish detergent, ketchup, mustard - again, other rentals may not include these so it was a real bonus. The dining room is large and the furniture was very comfortable. There is large patio off the kitchen with patio furniture and two chase lounges. Another bonus was the gas grill. We grilled our dinners most nights.
The yard was beautifully landscaped and many of the cacti were in bloom while we were there.
There are 3-4 large supermarkets within a 10 minute drive. The entrance to Joshua Tree NP is only one turn away from the house and then a few miles down the street. Super convenient. Other restaurants, Starbucks, shopping, etc. are close by.
We had no problems or issues with the house. All my questions before arrival were promptly answered by Erick - he was very helpful.
The only things I can think of that would have been nice is to have have the TV connected so we could have watched morning news or late night TV, and if the house had a washer/dryer. We packed light with just carry on luggage so needed to hand wash some of our things.
Great house - I would certainly return!
