Tucked in the hamlet of East Glacier, this cabin’s within walking distance to art galleries, gift shops, restaurants, trailheads, a ranger station, horseback riding, park tours, the historic Amtrak station, a general store, and a golf course which affords stunning views of Glacier’s peaks. The cabin’s main floor contains a bright, fully appointed kitchen, a bedroom (one full bed), bathroom, laundry facilities, and a living room complete with a comfortable couch which can sleep one person. The comfy loft overlooks the living area and holds a hand-made log bed (full-size). To accommodate those with allergies, no pets are allowed. The East Glacier area boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, meadows choked with wildflowers, and an amazing array of wildlife. Lucky visitors can spot grizzly bears, black bears, elk, moose, bald eagles, beaver, lynx, mountain lions, wolverines, fishers, pine martens, mountain goats, big horn sheep, and more. Area activities and attractions include hiking, fishing, climbing, birding, wildlife viewing, mountain biking, boat rides, the Museum of the Plains Indians, the Blackfeet Heritage Center, North American Indian Days Powwow (second weekend in July), naturalist guided hikes, evening programs in Glacier Park, and Visitor Centers. Great place for us to stay while we were exploring the East Glacier area. Had everything we needed for our 2 night stay.

The cabin was clean, comfortable, and cozy. It met all of our needs and was convenient to Glacier National Park. We would recommend the cabin and stay there again!

Additional and updated pictures of the cabin would do this place more justice! Having limited photos of the property and instead posting more of the surrounding area leaves a potential guest a little wary of pushing that “booking” button. However, the layout and use of space is function over form, unquestionably! We were amazed at all that is packed into this place. Smart placement and some specifically designed pieces, like the shower head and multiple hanging hooks, throughout, kept this compact place uncluttered and helpful to guests of any height. Bed sizes and spiral staircase are a challenge to adults over 6 feet, but we were prepared from the few photos and previous comments and found solutions. A pulley system would really help with toting items to and from the loft and make navigating the staircase easier. And during months that AC is needed and open windows are necessary, more fitted, clean screens without bug size holes would help a lot and go a long way to keeping this cozy, quaint cabin cleaner and pest free. If these two things were improved, we’d come back without hesitation!

It's close to Two Medicine area. St. Mary's is not too far, but because of the mountain roads it took almost an hour.

It truly is a cute, cozy cabin and was a perfect home base to explore the park! Good sized and well equipped kitchen, W/D was awesome to have and it is within walking distance of several restaurants! The loft is not built for small children, but our three kiddos all wanted their turns sleeping up there and were fine! (Youngest is 8). The owners were easy to work with and had simple check-in/check-out procedures. Great location and fun cabin made for an awesome stay in East Glacier!

Cabin was the perfect location and property for exploring Many Glaciers and surrounding areas. Cabin was very comfortable, clean and quiet for a very enjoyable stay. Host communication was excellent. We will definitely consider this property again on future visits to Glacier. The only recommendation for the property owners is to consider upgrading one of both of the full size beds to queen size beds. May be a little challenging to place a queen bed in the main floor bedroom however the upstairs loft definitely has room for a queen bed.

We loved staying here!!! It was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable!!! We loved having wifi and a washer/dryer was a total perk. It is walking distance to adorable town and very close to Glacier National Park. We would definitely recommend it and stay again if we ever get back this way!

We loved cozy cabin. East Glacier had everything we could hope for: locally owned shops, great hiking nearby, and a break from the crowds of GNP. The cabin itself was clean and well kept. We loved the porch for morning coffee. Walkable to all the East Glacier shops and restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The location is great with access to the east side of glacier. The kitchen had everything you'd need to cook almost any meal. Having laundry in the cabin was great for us as we were on a long road trip out west. The location worked well about 15 minutes from two medicine, 30minutes to st mary and 45 to many entrance. We would definitely stay here again when traveling through the area.

My wife and I booked this cabin on short notice, wanting to stay on the east side of GNP to access the Going to the Sun road before 6am (west entrance closed for construction before 6am). The listing was accurate and the host, Mark and Colleen, replied very promptly to our vrbo messages and text. The cabin was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The full kitchen and washer/dryer came in handy. It was nice being able to take a short walk to Brownies bakery and Whistle Stop restaurant. We had an amazing time that we will never forget, and only wish that we could've stayed longer!

We wanted to go hiking in Glacier on very short notice, and there weren't many accommodations available. We were very lucky to find this cabin available - it was exactly what we needed. We had a great stay!

Overpriced, low quality
I would not recommend this place. when we entered the cabin there was a strong smell of Lysol cleaner which lasted throughout our 2 night visit. Given the amount we paid, we expected premium accommodations, which was not at all the case. The bathroom was tiny and there was a cheap folding table and chairs for eating. I kept bumping my head in various places in the cabin including; the corner of a bizarre cabinet that stuck out right above the refrigerator, the narrow metal spiral staircase that stuck out into the main living space, the low ceiling log that perches 3 feet above the head of the bed in the loft. I searched for a toaster and never found one. While the location of the cabin was good for access to Glacier NP and walking to things in East Glacier; the actual cabin amenities and ambiance were mediocre at best, especially for what we paid.

Cozy Mountain escape
Loved the loft cabin and location. Parked right at the front door, making it super easy to unload and load. Clean and simple. Limited cookware, so you may want to bring those things you have to have. The loft area is accessible via narrow spiral staircase. I loved it. However, it's probably not for everyone. The host, Mark, was very accessible, friendly and informative. He made us feel more than welcome!

Cozy Cabin was perfect
My husband and I stayed at The Cozy Cabin for several days during our visit to Glacier. We loved the location, size of the cabin, and found it to be perfect to fit our needs. Close to Two Medicine and beautiful scenic ride to St. Mary's. Much better than and hotel we researched by far. Would stay there again!

East Glacier stay
We enjoyed our stay at the cozy cabin. Four adults stayed there and it was the perfect space. The village has a little bit of everything, as does the house. We appreciated the extra blanket on a cold night. As we left the cabin. A local pup, named Sharpie, stopped by to join our photo shot. So friendly!

Perfect for our four at Glacier
Comfortable, clean, well equipped, good for our family of 3. Great communication with Mark down at the grocery. No need for a car here if you are willing to walk a bit (the lodge offers a lot of amenities even if you are not staying there), but the shuttle fees into the park do add up. Gorgeous country--really glad we came.

Great spot to crash in East Glacier
Stayed here one week while undertaking a conservation field project in the Browning area. The cabin was comfortable and the internet was surprisingly fast for such a rural area. Will stay again on my next work trip.

Wonderful stay and great hospitality!
We loved our stay at this charming cabin that puts you within walking distance of several local places and only a few minutes drive into East Glacier. Extra special thanks to Mark for being a wonderful property manager. After locking ourselves out of the cabin (argh!), Mark came over promptly and cheerfully helped us out of our predicament. Thanks again, Mark! We had a great stay!
