About this cabin rental
"Trinity Cabin in the Woods" is a remodeled 1920's Trinity Lumber cabin sure to provide guests with a memorable stay. Close to three charming towns, my cabin is very comfortable and has everything guests need to enjoy the area's fishing, golfing, kayaking, rafting, soaking in the hot tub, hiking, and other wonderful recreation opportunities.
The Trinity Riverfront is on the same 7-acre property one block away from the cabin. The cabin area also has a lower meadow/campground area with boat & trailer parking as well as an RV space (for separate rental fees). You can kayak, swim, raft, boat and fish on the river, or visit nearby Lewiston, Trinity and Whiskeytown Lakes.
The cabin has beautiful views, lots of privacy, a private 4-person hot tub, high speed Internet, Wi-Fi calling, washer/dryer, full kitchen, a 43" flat screen Roku Smart TV with DISH satellite channels, board games & cards, books, fans, front furnished patio deck with a Charbroiler propane BBQ, umbrella, rear deck w/fire pit/BBQ (fall/winter), and chairs. The lower shed is stocked with recreational items such as inner tubes, rafts, outdoor corn hole game, 4 bicycles, helmets and pump available for guests' use.
The cabin is a perfect place to get away, "unplug" and help your well-being, getting away from the daily grind--Fishermen and fisherwomen welcome! The area has surprisingly good restaurants, bars, great music venues, annual craft fairs, special art and cultural events, Wednesdays are farmers' markets from 4-7 pm in Weaverville (Highland Art Center Meadow, mid-May through mid-October). Trinity Brewing Co. has wonderful craft beers, entertainment and food. Also, hosted Art Walks are held the first Saturday evening of the month, and the wonderful Trinity Performing Arts Center is host to several live music, comedy and performances every month.
Please note: Even though allowed, please provide information about your pet, confirm he/she is house broken, and that you agree not to leave him/her in the cabin alone. The pet fee is $50 and waived for ADA-certified service dogs only.

Loved this property!!! Was a little scary driving down the road at night but once we found the property it was very nice and peaceful! There is a cute town 20 minutes away so not too remote but still away from too many people which was really nice!!! Property was also very clean and communication with host was fast and easy đ

We had a great stay at Poker Bar Farms cabin. It was clean, comfy, and very well stocked with everything we needed. We loved sitting in the hot tub in the evenings after being out exploring and fishing during the day. The cabin is centrally located between Weaverville and Lewiston which made exploring both areas really easy. And pet friendly⌠perfect for us!

Very relaxing, very quiet, best of all, a private small beach to go into the water and just sit there listening to the river.

Our family of three little bears found the cabin in the woods to be just right. Lisa was a great hostess, she has thought of everything, even down to the homemade zucchini bread. We took the bikes out for an evening ride, played cornhole in the yard, and soaked in the hot tub after a day of exploring the area. We drove to several river access points, as there wasnât access from the cabin/neighborhood. The access points are just that, access and not really beaches for pole fishing. But they are free and we were able to drop our lines in a couple of places. This was a short trip for us, so we couldnât possibly get all of the things done that are offered in the area. Lisa had an incredible catalog of things to do, menus, maps and more. The cabin was fully stocked and clean! The cabin looks exactly like the pictures. This was our very first VRBO experience and we had a great time.

We came to Douglas City to visit our daughter & family who moved into the area recently. This was the ideal place to stay for âdowntimeâ to ourselves while being only 10 mins away from our daughterâs place. They also enjoyed coming over one evening for bbq. We had everything we needed and it was peaceful, comfortable & private. We hope to stay here again when we visit next year.

We stayed as Lisaâs beautiful cabin in the woods while I was in town for my baby sisters wedding. The cabin is beautiful inside and out, and the surrounding landscape and river are absolutely beautiful too!
The cabin had everything we need for our stay and then some.
Lisa was amazing, dealt with last minute questions from us and is very quick to reply and we definitely appreciated her checking in on us to make sure we were good to go and enjoying our stay.
If Iâm back in town I will definitely be looking her up again and booking with her!

Cozy, clean and beautiful!
Thank you Lisa for sharing your wonderful piece of heaven with us! We unfortunately came at a bad time due to the fires. Lisa was so gracious and offered a refund if we chose to leave but we decided to stay and enjoy the cabin. We hope to get in some hiking and lake time when we return in the future. When we do return, I will only stay at Lisaâs place. Her cabin was exactly what we were looking for and the location was perfect. The river access is a 5 minute walk! The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful to walk thru with so many sightings of deer, rabbits and squirrels. Lots of friendly neighbors as well.
Lisa is one of the BEST hosts Iâve encountered. She was so kind and was concerned that our stay was enjoyable despite the unfortunate events.
Clean and cozy cabin with a wonderful hosts(who happens to make AWESOME huge chocolate chip cookies)..what more could you ask for?!
Thank you so much!

Beautiful place to unplug
We wish we couldâve stayed longer! Lisaâs cabin in the woods was an easy drive from the Bay Area, and a much-needed escape from our usual busy-ness. A lot of thought went into making each room home away from home â super comfy beds (lots of pillows!), a well-stocked kitchen, and cute details throughout; the kids loved all the board games and that we could snuggle up to watch Luca in the evening on Disney+. It was hot in late July, but we enjoyed a nice breeze while lounging in the hammocks and walking down to the river. We went for a swim in Lewiston Lake (brrr!!), and wished we had taken out the kayaks and gotten ourselves out for an early morning hike, the landscape is stunning. Lisa is super friendly and responsive, and bakes amazing banana bread! Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Lisa was a fantastic host and was super responsive. She was very sweet and gave us a delicious banana cake that she baked herself â¤ď¸
There were so many additional perks like beach chairs, bikes and a plethora of games that were included too!

Amazing Property
This cabin is amazing. Beautiful area, and the cabin has absolutely everything you could need. It was really hot, and the air conditioners worked better than mine at home. Lisa is one the nicest people we have ever met. Left us a loaf of melt-in-your-mouth banana bread. We could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Great little cabin!
Lisa was very friendly and hospitality of the cabin was great. Had a great time. Rented kayaks on Lewiston lake, and had a peaceful cabin to come back to. Only grocery store is in Weaverville, so make sure you bring everything you can. Lewiston has a small markets for most of the other things.

Quiet and comfortable cabin
My family of four stayed in Lisa's cabin for 3 nights during a quick trip to check out the hiking options in the Trinity Alps. It was clean and quiet, and they kids loved swinging in the hammocks and playing croquet in the yard. It was also fun to be able to walk over to the river. The location proved to be a little far from the hiking areas that we were targeting, but we would go back to play on the river and hike closer to the immediate area (Lewiston, Douglas City, Weaverville).

Fun and out of the way
We stayed for two nights at the cabin and truly enjoyed the break. The kids went down and played in the river and we visited the nearby towns. Relaxing and refreshing with wonderful hospitality. Thank you!

Cabin in the woods
My husband and I spent 3 nights here and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The place was exactly how it looked on the website. Lisa even heated up the house an hour before we got there, which was a nice touch.
Cabin was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with lots of plates, pots and pans, spices, some basic food etc.
We enjoyed walks by the river with our dog. It was very quiet and relaxing. She has lot of board games and provided towels and dog bowls.
She made excellent recommendations for activities in the nearby area and always available if we had questions.
If you are looking to take a break and relax and freshen up from daily busy routine, I recommend this cabin.
While you are there, make sure to get a Lemon zucchini cake Lisa makes from her bakery.
